It’s obvious you don’t rate the guy, no need to hide. If Sadiq gets to La Liga, with what he has been playing he will bench almost any striker in La Liga except at the Barcas, Madrids and co. and the special talents like Isak and co. Let him get there first and we will see.
Isak or Sadiq? Who do you think is better?

1. Sergio Ramos Recording 22 Yellow Cards In One Season - The Spanish Centre back recorded 22 Yellow Cards in the 44 matches he played in all competitions. This was in the 2014/2015 season while he was playing for Real Madrid. He received 0 Red cards in that season.

2. Jorginho Giving 2000 Passes With 0 Assists - The Chelsea Central Defending midfielder recorded 2000 passes in the 2018/2019 season without giving any assist.

3. Harry Kane Scoring 250 plus goals With 0 Trophies - The English striker who plays for Tottenham Hotspur has not won any trophy in his football career.

4. Olivier Giroud Making Zero Touches Within 90 Minutes - This was in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He did not score or assist in all of the competition despite being the centre forward for France.

Abeg people, numbers 2 and 4 , are they truly truehuh
I think number 2 is true...i don't believe that number 4. It's not possible. A striker will always have at least a touch, the kickoff

The irony is that he was better at all those when he was in Lille. Ligue 1 is a very physical league, so having muscle and pace alone does not suffice. He had to learn finishing, positioning, and link up to succeed at Lille. Victor rarely missed one-on-ones at Lille, he was very efficient in his shooting especially at the beginning of the season.

Apparently, Serie A is not as physical, coincidentally, Victor was also adding muscle. It seems he started overrelying on physical dominance to oust opponents and his development in other areas regressed to an extent. For games against smaller clubs where you don't need to be prime Ronaldo technically to succeed, he was performing as expected. However, against bigger teams where strength is not enough and things like positioning and tactical awareness come into play, he seems to struggle. I would argue he should probably have stayed one more season at Lille to hone his tactical abilities before making the big money move.
Exactly...or an extra training maybe privately. He can even hire a personal trainer.

Having strikers with different profiles is very important because you always have a weapon no matter how the opposition play. If the opposition is good and keeps possession just throw in Osimhen and Dennis and you will make them bleed on the counter. If they decide to play a low block send in Onuachu and cross or send in Nacho as a false 9 and have him drop deep to shoot. For teams who do neither use Sadiq or Awoniyi's technicality to link up play and create chances.
This is just so apt.

Osimhen needs to learn intelligent play if he wants to achieve his full potential. Football is not only pace, muscle and gra-gra. Know when to pass, when to stop and bring others into play, when and how to slip through passes (which I have never seen him do), etc. Imagine a 70 million striker struggling with offsides at this level, it is frankly embarassing tbh. I hope he keeps on working on himself and he knows he is not the finished product yet.
I agree...
His pace and aggressiveness should be a bonus for him. His primary focus should be positioning, shooting accuracy, heading and so on. He will be able to avoid all those weird injuries.

Xavi can't give him more chance now since Barca is not in a fantastic position yet. We're still fighting to gain consistency in the league.

Besides, we have 5 other midfielders and they're all better than him.

Also, it depends on how he trains. Perhaps, Xavi is not also impressed with his trainings.
you're right. He should go on loan then.

Asides Nacho, none of our players have better link up play than Sadiq. Look at the lobbed through pass he just gave his teammate who wasted the one-on-one.
God bless you bro.
That's exactly why I want him on the team. You can't just packed strikers like sardines just because of goals. We need varieties..Dennis is like a wide forward, Osimehn is a pressing forward, Onuachu is just a goalscorer, Sadiq links up well with others. TBH, Ighalo is good as a target man. A team should have varieties in the attacking department.

From his stats this season he can be a good addition to the side in AM position, in case of fatigue/suspension/injury to the above mentioned players he offers more than one with zero goals or assist this season, in other words you can count on him to deliver.
I'm also not in favor of calling up anyone not interested in playing for SE.
Olise so far hasn't made it known if he wants to join the team or not. There are players like Billing, Torunarigha, Udokhai who have made it clear they don't want to play for us and I don't believe we should keep pursuing them.
I get you bro... I'll keep watching him.
Yesterday might just be one of his off-days.

Your comment was "there is nothing that Olise will play that Amoo and Nwakali won't" my response was that Amoo and Olise are showing consistent output, likewise other midfield players I mentioned.
If Nwakali is that special why is his career taking a nosedive from Arsenal-Maastrict-Venlo-PortoB-Huesca whereas others are making progress from Hammarby to Copenhagen in a year and from Reading to Crystal Palace.
I mentioned 3 players,you picked out Nwakali.
Ok, Let's leave Nwakali aside, he needs to sort out his club issue, I agree.
Oya tell us what Olise will offer the SE that Iwobi,Aribo and Amoo wouldn't. If we are to look at it vividly, he will likely be the third choice behind Iwobi and Aribo and there is no way he gets to play on the wing.
I'm not hating on the boy, my point is simple...if we're persuading a FB to play for us, he should be someone that is better than what we have.
Simple

Ability and capability are directly proportional to output which Nwakali hasn't shown this season.
Amoo, Aribo, Olise, Iwobi, Onyeka all have shown that this season. Even Ndidi as a DM has more output than Nwakali, so claiming that someone has invisible ability and capability is acting like a politician during a campaign.
Now...you have turned this to Nwakali matter....I mentioned three players, you only picked out Nwakali.

Anyway, output or not, the Olise I watched yesterday is not better than what we have.
