andrewbaba44: Zidane is a great coach baba
But i pick a thing from what you said ,they said why should xavi join struggling Barca that he wanted to start his coaching career badly ,mark my words xavi will smile last because he knows what he was going into
Do you know xavi rejected the chance to be tite assistant at the Qatar World Cup with Brazil then take over from tite as their head coach ? I'm not saying Zidane is bad bro. To win UCL thrice a row no be beans. The Xavi example perfectly sums up my point. Xavi rejected a more juicy options in order to rebuild barca, he was not afraid of tainting his career. Now, that is bravery. Reason why I said i will regard the like of Xavi,Arteta and Gerard ahead of Zidane. No hard feeling toward Zidane. Most of us on this thread were against the appointment of Amunike simply because he has been out of job for some time now notwithstanding his success with the U17. This is similar to what I'm saying. I hope you grab now |

zicky: you are now spitting from both sides of your mouth, you accused Zidane of going for ready made team and that's why you don't rate him, I then reminded you that even your almighty guardiola is guilty of same. You even went as far as saying you rate Lampard and Gerard above a 3 times champions league winner. From your POV, what is a ready-made team? The Madrid he coached was a ready-made team oga. Someone said he is afraid to taint his career that is why he is jobless. Which means, he is waiting for another ready-made team to employ him. As for Pep, is he the only coach spending big? Like I said, if you don't understand, forget it. I can't explain more than this |

Man Utd was there for the taking abi man U na small club. Tottenham was there too. The like of Ten Haag will be considered before him if any of the big club wanna employ a coach. If you don't get my point, forget it. I can't explain more than this. |

Utonwanne: Gerard is growing. Aston Villa is a bigger club to Rangers. Or do you think Gerrard would have gone for teams like Alcorón? Villa, bigger than Rangers? Well, Gerard is growing and I admire him for changing job which means he was unafraid of tainting his career. Now, why has Zidane being jobless since? He is afraid of tainting his career according to you. To me, that is cowardice which is why I regard the like of Gerard and Arteta more than him. Finito |

Roland17: If they are shedding the wages of Dembele/Grizzy/De Jong/ Umtiti, and others what makes you think they would want to take up a 350K/ week wage excluding bonuses and incentives for a player who turns 33 years? This is not about sale price but weekly wages and incentives. Let me assure you that Auba will not leave Arsenal for less and Barca despite the need for a striker will be foolish to even consider Auba. They considered him when the reality of their financial situation had not been exposed.
In player development, having 2 players ahead of you is a lot. I have raved about Patino who recently transitioned to the U-23 and there have been calls to move him to the first team but we all know he needs a good loan move. You still have Nketiah who Arteta wants to offer an extension and Martinelli’s situation. Biereth is good but I don’t see Arsenal moving him to the first team right now.
Right now, securing a loan for Balogun at a club where he will play regular football is the priority. Biereth will play another year of U-23 while Balogun is gone on loan alongside Moller as the core attackers and then go on loan next season. I think that is a better course of direction. You've said well. I agree |

Is like telling Foden to join Burnley to prove his mettle.
And by the way, put some respect in Zizzou's name. Fear . . that's the word. Gerard just completed an unbeaten season with Rangers but he still accepted the Villa job. IMO, if you're afraid of tainting your career, you are not good enough. |

Utonwanne: If I'm your President, I'll sanction the sale (esp Pedri and Gavi) and rebuild. Pedri will soon depreciate, he's overrated by the market for a player with his style. And Gavi? I'm not sold on him, yet. Frankie is gooooood. You have a point sha. But one thing about Barca is that they don't really need much money before they rebuild. LA masia can give barca whichever player because of how good the academy is. The only department they would need to spend on is the forward (attacking) department. If selling Pedri can land them Haaland, they should take the offer. |

He is going to need a loan move in the near future so we avoid the Balogun situation. They desperately need a striker now and De Jong, Dembele, Grizzy and Umtiti are likely to leave so Auba for 20M won't be bad for them. Apart from Moller and Balogun, who are the strikers ahead of Biereth cos I can't remember any striker performing better than the trio right now. |
