If I may confess, there was quite an improvement in our overall play. This I believe is owed to having Lacazette play the AM role. His performance was encouraging. Though he lacked that trickery known for good AMs yet I noticed 2 or 3 defense splitting passes he made, being able to spot Auba and Nketiah's movements. He also made some runs from midfield into scoring positions which is very key for AMs. If he can continue to improve for us in that role it will be great.

Yea. .i did not watch the match but i can attest to this. I think the solution is to find a complete CF.Someone with good footwork and good aerial prowess. I don't know who fits this description. Martinelli? Balogun? Moller? Auba and Willian should be given time off to sort out their life.

Out of 44,only 7 went beyond spurs'first defender and only 2 were on target yet our coach was talking as if he outclass Mourinho.

I mean in subsequent matches. Seeing how Arteta was bragging about our 55 crosses against Spurs,i have a feeling cross and nod football has come to stay.

At least if Arteta is trying to play cross and nod, he should bring in Mustafi around 60th minute and move him to CF.

Giroud gets called up because he links up better with Griezmann and Mbappe who are the star players of their attack. The other options(Laca, Martial, Yedder, etc) can't do the same.
Nacho as a focal point just doesn't work.

The bolded is my point. Yedder, Martial and Laca were at a certain time better than Giroud but never get called up simply because they can't fit in. I hope those justifying Paul's inclusion due to his club form will be able to understand this.

I will pick Onuachu who has been getting more game time and scoring for his clubside over Iheanacho who has less minutes this season and goals, it's not like Iheanacho has been excellent since for the eagles in the last few games for us. The era you mentioned in the 90s we had strikers that can deliver then unlike now, even in the mid 2000s we had Patrick Ogunsoto and Tosin Dosunmu scoring for fun in Belgium but couldn't break into the national team.

Bro..national team doesn't work like that bro. There is a reason why Giroud do get call up ahead of other France strikers. In national team, you pick what is best for the team not who is banging goals for his club side. Despite Paul's goals for his club, Nacho will still boss him in the national team. E get why.

You're misquoting me. Apart from his football ability, Sanchez was a leader at arsenal. He always had the desire and drive to win. Now, there is our black panther wannabe captain that can not offer anything on both front.

Immediately i saw the line-up, i just lost hope. AMN,Dani,Mo are all fit but na half fit Partey and Xhaka start. Even at worse, Tim Akinola and willock would have been a better choice.
