Arteta should not try Xhaka and Dani in midfield against the spurs. Never in a donkey years will they be able to handle Ndombele and Sissoko. |

Spy360: Laca's performance at attacking midfield is about his best this season. Amongst all our players he seems best suited to that role. I am happy he is evolving. Since he is not scoring he can be creating, something I know won't be a problem for him as he plays well when he is angry. Why do i think he will score more as an AM? He is probably our best shooter and playing with his back to goal has kind of limited that ability. As an AM now,he will be playing with the net in his front. .lol |

Fkhalifa: Not when Spurs are topping the table, not when the Bpl trophy they so desire is far out, not when they are experiencing the worst start ever after having strengthened in 2 Twindows.
All these Rookie stuffs don't hold water, Lampard, Ole, Gerrard, Zidane never had it this worse when they started.
Arsenal fans are the most impatient, they boycotted Emirates, displayed Wenger out placards and eventually got him sacked after he won 2 trophies in 2017. Lampard and Ole have the cash,Zidane inherited a very very decent squad. .Gerrard is coaching a top team in Scotland. I am not trying to make excuse but Arteta will only work well in a good environment. And who said Zidane is not having it tough? Baba have the next four matches to redeem himself. |

Roland17: Ehnnnn!!!!!! Gabriel all the way.. We may have not seen much of Mari but from what I have seen from both, Gabriel is above Mari. Gab is one of the best defenders in the EPL.. If a sabi coach catch Gab ehn?
A Gab/ Mari combination is an interesting option.. issue is they are both left dominant defenders. Ok... I just want to know how good Mari is. |

Roland17: Mari.. He has been stable, timely with his tackle and positioning.
Niles is another that has impressed me. He is playing as a CM and boy has been good. He just provided the assist for ESR
Niles will even offer us more in comparison to Xhaka in that CM role. I am actually asking who is better between the two. If only they can transfer their Europa performance to EPL... |

Arteta: Big teams need midfielders who score
One reason I'm still being patient with him is that he knows the right thing to do. The board should drop the cash and let him get the players he want. And Edu should stop interfering in transfers,he is not the coach. |

Please before you make such comments take time and watch (not YouTube please) these players.
Grealish is good, but Joao is 3times better. .and please don't mention Pepe. That is just my preference. Joao is overhype IMO. I have watched him 2 or 3 times and not just on youtube. |

Nobody should mention Muazum or any carpenter here Oya mention at least 4 Nigerian midfielders that should be invited. |

CoolJulian: Osarenoma Igbinovia is one player I had so much hope on, during her early years. I wonder why it has become so difficult for her to secure a move abroad, in a decent team, where her skills could be polished ; she has surprisingly become very unpopular on the team, begging the question as to where she is, currently.
Due to the great promise and dominant display she always showed, I believe she could have have become an excellent player for the team by now, if she had secured an early move to Europe. Marriage I guess |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 11:41am On Dec 01, 2020 |
CoolJulian: While I understand that Ucheibe is quite good at the defensive midfield, I so much doubt that she is ready to play a prominent role for the Super Falcons yet, the reason being that, at this time the team needs 'standard' players to take it to the next level.
Ucheibe is very young, and not experienced enough, considering that not too long ago she played for a team in the 2nd division of Swedish football, and currently in Portugal (Benfica), which is not a top team ; she needs a top team for that experience ; i doubt she is ready to play around Ayinde and Chikwelu (who's quite old).
Due to these my concerns, i ask : what makes you confident that she can play such heavy role? I perfectly understand you sir. The super Falcons currently does not have anybody to fill that role. Ayinde has been playing there as a makeshift. In addition, I think experience does not really count again nowadays in football. Okeke and Nnadozie were among our best players during the last world cup and I wouldn't count them as experienced. |

Subzero047: I've never seen it before, Aina is a FB in attack but a CB in defence Arsenal have been playing same way since resumption after lock down. When attacking, there will be 4 man backline and the wingbacks will move to midfield but when defending, the full backs will tuck in while the WBs will move to Fullbacks. |
