No player is going to agree to terminate a contract that has millions hinged on it. Also, clubs can't exclusively terminate a contract because a player refuses a paycut especially if it is not spelt out in the terms of the contract. Our only option is to pay such players off and move on but that is quite risky because you are going to lose a lot of money doing that.
