Even in your mind you know alampasu will not make the squad

You need to be realistic and tell yourself the truth
That is my list bro ..not yours.
But we all know taking Alampasu to AFCON will do us more good.

Nice list but I'm not sure of Alampasu making that squad.

Ogu is yes/no for me. Mixed feelings about the guy
I mention Alampasu because what us the use of taking Akpeyi to the tourney. And about Ogu, if u notice ...there are three different MFs in my list...three are starters while the rest are backups.

Nice to be here again ....
that was a nice group er have got but I want us to remember there is a thin line between confidence and overconfidence. On paper and based on personnel, we should get 9 points from the group but we also need to remember the other teams are not there to sell SUYA and OKPA.

After many years of enduring ndi otu Taiye Taiwo and Sani Keita, many years of walking in the darkness, with only Odemwingie, and occasionally, Yobo, providing light for us, it is a thing of joy that the Nigerian team can now boast fine boys like this Dennis, Osimhen, Iwobi, odogwu Mikel, Awaziem, Ogu, our oyibo wall and even smallie Onyekuru. We have brighter days ahead, we go use fine boys pepper dem for AFCON in June, plus the pre-packaged West African swag.

Onyekuru
Musa
Shehu
Moses

Iwobi
Success
All the above players have something in common. A weakness for crossing the ball from the flank. Instead they prefer to cut back.
iwobi do cross though he prefer the layoff for the FB to cross

On Rohr....
he have tried even though he has shortcomings, that shows he is human. You see, I don't like blaming players or coaches simply because playing and coaching ain't easy as we see it or better still watch it on TV. majority of guys here blaming Rohr,if given the SE WC squad can't qualify from a group comprising crown FC ,Sunshine stars and Remo stars.
The only option now is for NFF to retire Salisu Yusuf and bring in Unknown but proven tactically astute coach maybe from our league. This will complement and strengthen Rohr's weakness.

Rohr still needs to work more on crossings
we can't be going to AFCON with Paul and victor without a good crosser. Aina and Kalu are the closest we have .
Any other suggestion?

The way the phrase "World class" is used loosely on this thread is quite funny.
maybe 'world class" is not the right word but Kelechi had an impressive stat at man city. I can remember he was labeled one of the deadliest striker then.

SIMPLE COMPREHENSION is pur major problem on this thread. When the U-23 list was out, some here merely complimented the squad in regards to their respective age , talent and so on. Nobody boasted that we will beat Libya .Infact, somebody pointed out the team's weakness which is the defense. They lose now and some people start ranting that we over hype them.
Some people think with their THIRD LEG ahswear

The Midfield seems to have quality player's,. Four experience Midfielder ( Evelyn Nwabuoku, Cecilia Nku, Amarachi Okoronkwo, Osarenoma Igbinovia) and youthful blood like Joy Bokiri and Peace Efih should do well at the WAFU Cup and also give the trio of Chikwelu, Okobi and Ayinde a tough fight for Spot in the final World Cup list..
when is the WAFU tournament pls

I think Dennerby is on the right track...I love his methodology. He analyses the squad he inherited, identify the weaknesses then scout for more players to nullify the weaknesses and bring more upgrade.

What exactly did Iwobi did yesterday? I thought he received an elbow to his nose and touched his nose to check for blood...or maybe he covers his mouth to conceal his lips.

Using the logic Arsenal beat ManU is infantile at best young man.

Can Arsenal now beat PSG?
Can Arsenal now beat Juventus?

Okay. let's talk Ajax. Ajax beat almighty Madrid.
Can Ajax with one extra player beat Barça?

Nonsense and spices.
Lolz...you font judge a team by goals or the scores. I still insist the man u arsenal spanked on sunday is toothless. I no blame u na , na PSG wey no show up cause these over hype.

it won't work. both are dm so the best mix will be a dm and a good box to box midfielder who has eyes for goals and creative as well. you can only deploy both the same time if you want the team to be more defensive minded
it can work bro...for example in a formation where both FBs are attacking, they will get enough cover. my reason for choosing henry and Samuel was because they are attack minded players so with AJAYI and Ndidi in the middle, that guarantees enough cover.
