Another Caveat to cool nerves...

🚨 Arsenal view Ethan Nwaneri as more of a midfielder, operating as an #8 or #10, as opposed to a winger. 🕵️‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 [@David_Ornstein]

But_But....
He has always said this himself that he is better at AM. Moreso he looks more dangerous when he is at the right half space than when he is on the wing. But Maduekehuh Thought it is Semenyo they're looking at.

BTW, heard he will be wearing #22 next season. He has not signed his contract because he is on extended break due to the U21 Euro he partook in.

Very terrible injury,,

These is what many players and coaches are against, these FIFA CWC should be stopped abeg
I went to watch the incident immediately i saw the picture... If only he had left the ball for Gigi. Like no need contesting for the ball again. Heard that's his first start in 3 months. He had been out injured.

I was even thinking it was the woman he married that was behind the rape accusation as at the time it was first reported. Base how it all went down and all. From the screenshot the lady provided, you can see it's not Partey's first nor last victim. Baba felt untouchable.
Well, let's see how it goes. Going by past events, it wouldn't bode well to make hasty conclusion. My own is Partey shouldn't have gotten himself entagled in situation like this.

I think this is the main reason why Partey's contract went down the drain. Just few days of letting him go and uk met finally announced him as the London player they have been keeping tabs on. And evidence dey plenty too. Maybe Arsenal got the info. First and didn't want to have part in the saga.
The guy no try at all. 3 women fah.. 3!!!
Well, let's wait and see the outcome sha

I would prefer waiving Trossard due to his age over Martinelli who even he struggles is capable of double digits G&A per season for an elite winger or an upgrade...
TBH.. I'm torn between both. I think you made a nice point. Martinelli over Trossard. However, i still want Arteta to work on fluidity in the final third. Allow the wingers to freely roam even if na once in a while. When you confine Saka and Martinelli to the wing, you have made the works of their markers easier.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:34am On Jul 04, 2025
Gabriel Heinze...

I still remember that famous headed goal against Nigeria in 2010 WC. Hoping to see him contribute his quota. All the best to Carlos Cuesta.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:30am On Jul 04, 2025
One (minor) reason for Martinelli's decline is Arteta's tactics. He is just a victim. His game is built on speed and finishing. Hugging the touchline and creating chances is not his forte. But if we can squeeze 80m from Saudi with the guarantee that Rodrygo is coming, i think the club should take it. And if Trossard is going to leave as well, then Eze's deal is a no brainer. It must happen.

But I wouldn't complain if the coach wants him to stay back provided that he irons out his deficiencies.

Diaby, Wilshere and now Tomiyasu.
Just good players who could not fulfill their potentials due to injury.

It's just so unfortunate. Wishing you all the best Tomiyasu.

Some arsenal fans are just too funny. They bashed the Mosquera negotiations but now they are applauding the same deal when the news got out that Tomi's contract will be terminated.

The world cup is globally viewed, live and FIFA tries as much as possible to fix matches at a time that best fits the highest viewing populations. 7:00pm-11:00pm is considered as the best viewing period globally and then followed by 2:00pm -6:00pm. FIFA tries as much as possible to ensure the highest viewing population watch those matches between 2:00pm and 11:00 pm. Also European time is usually more favoured in these time zone calculations and fortunately for Africa, we fall under same time zones with European countries.

Remember, the 2014 WC in Brazil? Brazil is 4hrs behind Nigeria and we watched most of the matches between 6:00 and 11:00pm. It therefore means the games were played in Brazil between 2:00 and 7:00pm.

During the 1994 world cup, USA being 5-7hrs behind Nigeria (depending on the game venue) we watched most of the games between 8:00pm and midnight. That means the games were played between Afternoon and evening in the US.

The countries that usually suffer from sleepless nights or having to wake early to watch games are the counties in far East Asia (like the Koreans, Japan, Eastern China, etc) and Oceania (Australia, New Zealeand and environs)

For the 2026 WC most of the games would kick-off early evenings and end at midnights (12:00 - 1:00am), depending on the time zone of the city hosting the game.
Oh nice.. Well understood.
BTW, how have you been sir? Been a while we see you here.

he can only try it where he knows its acceptable. Shebi we were here when the nff was basically begging abraham to join the team to the world cup as if the players that secured the ticket were sticks and goats.
I dislike such behavior. It can create bad blood in a team. If he no fit join us hustle for WC qualification, make he getat.

That's why I mentioned Ogbu and Benjamin then. There's this Luton guy too and Vince. Calvin ain't doing bad too.

Be like say na bus we wan go park this season with all these defenders and defensive midfielders they're singing all over the place. I got a notification that they're in talks to sign Eberechi Eze, i think it's a good signing especially if the Rodrygo signing doesn't work out. He's an Arsenal academy reject like Harry Kane, and he's already following Harry Kane's footsteps by scoring against us especially in crucial matches. I'll pick him over Rodrygo because he's premier league tested, he's at his peak and he's eager and willing to play for Arsenal unlike Rodry that's giving us terms and conditions.
And na 6ft + players we dey sign now. Na setpiece we wan dey use score now.

Overall, a good game yesterday.
Franny was a big surprise. Mama still got it surprisingly.
I've never been a fan of Onumonu due to her lethargic performance up top. Okonkwo in her position yesterday and we would have got a goal in. I hope she prove me wrong in Wafcon though.

Excellent display by Chiamaka.
Shukurat is good. I like her athleticism. Miracle, on the other hand didn't really impress. Stage fright maybe.

I still want to see Ajibade in midfield please. Jenny/Tony can shift to the wing.

Ok,now let's all here join them front page and facebook fans and in praise of her, let's write an ode to her .
Yet someone like u would be the first to disapprove when the likes of Eze,Saka,Tammy Abraham dumped us,none of them were even discovered here in Nigeria.

I can't imagine to wake up and hear that Osimhen has decided to dump us,and would be rejoicing he has taken the right decision knowing that Osimhen is the soul of our national team.
Favour is probably our best athlete after Tobi, definitely our favorite athlete, and u expect me to be ok with her loss to another country, when I've always been rooting for her.

For u,I don't know some of the benefits she will be getting for switching allegiance. Is it all because of money?
If u you believe, because your father did not treat you the way it should be,provided u with some of the privileges other kids enjoy from their parents, the right thing to do would be to reject him, change your surname and stript him of his paternal right over u,that's your choice.
Some of us will still think differently borne out of patriotism, love and respect of one's nation

This your epistle is rather too long for me,i just decided to read them out of respect i have for u,next time try to dey shorten am.
If you were her elder brother, will you still be saying this?

They sabotaged that lady not once but TWICE! I really can't confirmed but I read AFN was asked to pay her some sort of compensation which they didn't till date.

TBH, when the news broke out, I prayed silently that her switch should go smoothly. Some of us here will be cheering her on during the next Olympic by God's grace.
