I saw the talk about Chelle benching Iwobi and Playing Chuks at #10. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but a single game is not enough to come into this conclusion.

From the Chuks highlight posted up there, Chuks didn't just find himself at #10, he was given FREEDOM to roam. Something similar to how Enrique set up his team.

He did play well but saying Chuks should play midfield henceforth will be going overboard. Iwobi has his faults but one thing about him I admire is his football intelligence.

How the Jamaican captain took and scored his spot kick was what the Jamaican player that missed his also had in mind, which is to place the ball at the top corner, which beats any goal keeper of Nwabali's height.
This was how Nigerian chan team lost in semi finals some years ago. The other team simply played and aimed all their shots either at the right top corner or the left top corner and they scored because of Agbim's height, who was Nigeria's goal keeper.

If Nigeria goes into penalty shoot outs against a tactical team that will want to exploit Nwabali's height by having their penalty takers aim for either the right or left top corners, then any other goalkeeper like Maduka should be coming on during penalty kicks. Otherwise, a team whose players can aim and score top corners can comfortably win the shoot outs
Nice observation but from the bolded, how do you think the team could deduce this and make the substitution?

Reports shows that Berta is in full agreement with Arteta regarding Sesko and only speaking with Gyokeres camp to keep options open. Make dem buy who dem wan buy, na to deliver result matters. Isak wasn't as prolific in Spain in his last season as he is in in epl now, but the talent and signs was always there as it is with Sesko. Gyokeres have proven to be a world class striker but his wages might affect us if they can't negotiate well. I don't remember us sweating about loosing isak to Newcastle cus we got jesus, but now isak have proven to be better at what he does than jesus and all of a sudden we are all complaining.
You're Arteta fan not Arsenal fan bro grin grin

Why does everyone expect every coach to play like Mourinho.

There was never an arsenal fan that said we didn't need a Saka back up especially as we saw the number of games he played within a short time and we prayed he avkudes injury
However we looked at our budget and since Saka was not injury prone we needed to strengthen other areas.
See what happened to arsenal immediately Saliba had injury.
Seriously the way we throw blames.
Conte was here when Arteta was here
What was his outcome with Spurs.
He didn't even win much. We saw his ranting during his time at Spurs. Not all managers are the same. Some will throw the club under the bus others will by cryptic and prefer a diplomatic approach.
Well if we what Conte has coach pls say so so that you can know if it's the owner not dropping money.
Arteta is building his coaching career
You don't expect him to.take that approach.
The way we loose all rationality sometimes.
Ancelotti was available for a short period The club should have moved for him immediately.
That's tells you the kind of owners or board we have.
Which coach will see good player and turn down.
Our budget laat season we sold Nketiah to buy Merino. And January no funds to buy hence the sterling loan.
Well let's name the coach that will.be available for replacement.
Roberto De Zerbi was available bro... So also is Porter. I don't even understand our board. That Girona coach that took them to UCL was also there. They didn't hire him.

So many amusing takes

Isak didn't light up la liga with goals. When Sociedad set an asking price for him, a lot of these noisy Arsenal fans said the money was too much for someone who is not prolific.

Isak came to EPL and started banging goals, una still dey blame club for not signing him.

Let me add more petrol to the fire, Arsenal is considering Retegui too.

All na for amusement. Arsenal fanbase used to be a gathering of intelligent people till strays started joining us.

One was peddling the Arteta vs Berta / Sesko vs Gyokeres, I asked him for his source, he said he saw it on Twitter. From which source on Twitter, Baba no fit talk.

A fully grown man suggesting Roberto De Zerbi as coach for Arsenal dey help Arteta choose striker? These are the issues.

Also, Osimhen despite claiming Edo State has never done anything meaningful to Edo State or her youths. Later in life when maybe he finds himself in politics and wants to contest he will remember that he is from Esan in Edo State. Same thing Ighalo and some others has done. You didn't know when I said the board did not help Arteta?

You were blaming Arteta for not signing a striker last year. It's like blaming a child for not paying school fees, that's where the advice from Mostob comes in.
Man was literarily pleading for signings in both windows but the board did nothing.

And guess what, a large percentage of Arsenal fans didn't notice this... Everything na chochocho to them.

Arsenal fans generally are very foolish. Now that we have wrapped up Zubimendi (presumably) they will be saying why we haven't done a striker without knowing that every deal is different and Zubinis even more critical because Jorginho is definitely leaving
The most amusing one is that of the Berta vs Arteta. A propaganda obviously cooked by a young lad in the corner of his room in London.

They didn't even wait to verify or put their thoughts to use. Arsenal ain't doing well fine but the Calibre of Arsenal fans that recently sprout up are just disgraceful to the beautiful football fandom.

There's only one Spanish in our starting lineup and we've only agreed termed with Zubimendi.. which kept me wondering where the 'Spanish favoritism' is coming from.

That's why I wish Arteta can just resign. Let them have their Roberto De Zerbi.
At the end of the day, all these are just amusement for mem

They blamed Arteta for signing Calafiori as they knew MLS would show up

The blamed Arteta for signing Merino as they knew Partey would be fit all season for the first time in his career.

It's not fair
Now that we're considering Garcia to back up Raya, they have started bashing Arteta. Asking why he's wasting money. One even asked why we let Ramsdale go.

Midseason when Raya couldn't get a rest, they will start calling the coach a fuuul for not signing a backup for him.

Myopic lots

Arsenal considering either Lucien Agoume or Hugo Larrson as possible replacement for Partey.

Arsenal fans: Arteta is fuulish. He wants to chase away Thomas Partey like he did to Ramsdale. We don't need replacement for Partey

Mid season

Partey get issue that keeps him out (God forbid)

Arsenal fans: Arteta is a stubborn coach. He knew Partey struggles with fitness. Why didn't he sign a replacement.
