0lumide: He is articulating why he thinks Buhari is our best option while you are just saying Buhari isn't.See how Buhari stalwarts think. |
whats this. |
GenBuhari: ^shouldn't you be concerned that all elections since return to so-called democracy in 1999 have been heavily rigged?Your opinion. Dont force it down others. You call a military dictator a great leader. In your books. Abeg. Dont talk like people dont have the right to disagree with your opinion about Buhari. To you he might be an angel, to others, he might be the devil personified. Who told you your opinion about him cant be faulted? You keep posting newspaper articles of 1984 etc etc, ol'boy, no be those kain thing go help your man win elections, they are old stories. |
0lumide: State your reason why you think Buhari can't lead Nigeria or why you don't him to lead? State your reasons!!Cool down. Where did I say he should not contest? I am saying he will contest, win on NairaLand, and then go to the courts for the fourth time. Who says he shouldnt? You are looking for the person who will sweep the North? I guess the North werent voting previously, or they didnt pick the right person? Or tell me why you think he will win this time, with all his "track" records? LOL. As usual, Buhari people wins on NL a record fourth time. |
courage89: I'm hope you're familiar with the history of Abraham Lincoln. Arguably the best president US ever produced. How does this match the profile of Buhari? |
OsunOriginal: Because it is not an easy task to liberate people especially where you have ignorants like you in the midst. The question you should be asking yourself is, why should we continue to be ruled by thugs and hooligans in PDP even when they have been there for more than 12 years and nothing to show for all the wealth and money that acrued to the country. It took only 10 years to build UAE to the global enviable position they have reached today.Loud mouth. I have asked my own question. If you like, call me ignorant until you reach or.gasm, it doesnt change the fact that your Buhari is a serial looser and will continue to be. Buhari ko, Rihuba ni. Liberate. So Buhari is the one you are waiting for to liberate you? LOL. Your mumu na classic. 2015 is around the corner, he should be talking to his lawyers by now in preparation for his usual litigations. This is what his supporters like to do, they come to NL and talk gibberish, they cast their votes on NairaLand, declares him winner on NairaLand, but forgets Nigeria is bigger than NairaLand, they waste time talking on NairaLand while forgetting to cast their vote for their paymaster. |
Why will someone sit for an exam three times, failed all three times and still want to try for a record fourth time? You will tell me it was because the elections were rigged, isint it? Thats one serious serial looser out there. If you are no good, you are no good. |
GenBuhari: Buhari was the Petroleum Minister who delivered at least two of Nigeria's refineriesLier: History of Nigerian Refineries: First Refinery (PH) - 1963 - 1965 Second Refinery (Warri) - 1975 - 1978 Third Refinery (Kaduna) - 1976 - 1979 Fourth Refinery (PH) - 1985 - 1989 Which period was he petroleum minister. |
courage89: 1. War Against Indiscipline (Clean Nigeria)Which refinery? |
They shouted for Buhari more than this previously. Who is surprised or taking them serious this time? Look, its just 2012, three more good years, and they are campaigning already. LOL. that of course is the sign of a desperate looser. All these old 1984 news in 2012. Haba? |
First I really do not trust u when u say u did not vote GEJ. You say no candidates impressed you? So who would you have rule Nigeria? Obama? If Buhari is so bad for Nigeria in ur opinion, could u please suggest someone who would do better and let's see who that person is that will do a better job than Buhari. Whatever be the case, Buhari would one million times a better President than GEJ .
Based on what logic and on what facts? Sentiments? |
Buhari is wining on NairaLand as expected. |
of course. He will win on NairaLand as usual. |
ABUJA—President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday emphasised that the Performance Contract Agreement he signed with his cabinet ministers was not to witch-hunt any of them, but to set targets and measure performances. According to the President, government could no longer rely on the performance assessments of its activities by the media because according to him, the media has been politicised. To improve performance and service quality According to the president, the Performance Contracting System was geared towards improving performance and delivering quality and timely services to the citizens, adding that the agreement would also improve productivity and instill a greater sense of accountability for effective service delivery. He stated: “I read all kinds of things in the media that the President wants to assess the ministers, so that he would know who should go and who would stay. That is not the purpose of this. President Goodluck Jonathan (r) counter-signing the Performance Agreement and Contracting System document for the Ministry of Labour and Productivity as the Minister, Chief Emeka Wogu watched during the signing ceremony of the document with Cabinet Ministers as the President Chaired the Federal Executive Council Meeting at the State House, Abuja. Photo by Abayomi Adeshida “We would have done it probably the first week when we came on board but the key thing is that we have given ourselves points that we think we will get at. We believe that if we get at those points or even if we achieve 70 per cent of that, at least it will be better off for our own country. I am quite pleased that all the Ministers have completed the forms. Not to witch-hunt anybody “I want to assure every one of you who has taken part in the exercise that this is not meant to witch-hunt anybody. “It is to remind all of us, from President to Directors General, to Advisers and other aides, that we are representatives of the Nigerian people, and we are accountable to them at all times. “I had stated clearly during the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council that Ministers are expected to be accountable, productive, transparent and focused.” Speaking on the role of the media, the president said: “Before, the media used to be the voice of the ordinary people but now, the media is the voice of those who own the media houses and those who own the media houses have private jets and those who own private jets are not ordinary people. Lampoons media owners “So the media is now the voice of the powerful people. So, we have to have a way of assessing ourselves.” President Jonathan emphasised that his office and that of the Vice President should also captured the assessment processes, adding that there should be parameters to be used in measuring performances. He enjoined ministers and ministers of state to be conversant with activities of their ministries to reduce areas of friction. ‘The Minister must know everything happening in the ministry, just like the Permanent Secretary, will know everything happening in the ministry. ‘If Minister A does not now what Minister B is doing and Minister B does not know what Minister Ais doing, but the PermanentSecretary knows everything that all of you are doing, the Permanent Secretary becomes a boss of the two ministers and the Permanent Secretary can use your heads to hit yourselves and just laugh at you. ‘I expect that if the main minister travels and I need information, I should call the Minister of State and that Minister of State must give the information about that ministry. “If the Minister of State cannot give the information about that ministry, then something is fundamentally wrong either from two of them or from one of them. “If the minister of state travels in a ministry where we have clear responsibilities, I called the main minister, to give me information, I expect the minister to give me information on that ministry,” he said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/08/media-cannot-assess-my-govt-objectively-jonathan/ |
Slim101: @OP. I also think your observation is lopsided. What do u mean by the term "Opposition dominated media"?? Are u saying all regular people like me and other honourable members of this forum also belong to d opposition?? You can mention El Rufai, Ribadu etc for all you care but they are all entitled to their opinions. Criticisms on this forum (by regular folks who doesn't have any political affiliation) has nothing to do with which political party's logo that is behind your picture . You sounded like a PDP protagonist yourself and u wouldn't mind us singing their praises even if when the heaven knows they have performed woefully. Maybe you need to increase the salaries of Reno, Okupe and Abati!!!Just as the OP also is entitled to his opinion. But because he is not saying what you want to hear, you call him a PDP protagonist, not so? |
Someone makes his opinion known and because you dont agree with him, you call him names and shout him down. Crap. He has a right to his opinion just as you have to yours, so, stop acting like a kid and see his post objectively and if you dont, try swap your butt hole with sand paper. He doesnt have to say sorry for what he has written, so, stop whining and get a life. |

When GEJ brother died on his birthday, some m.orons here said he has used his brother for rituals. So what will they say to this one now? |
Whats all that about? All churches do that. Inclusive of Redeem. It is not by force, so, what are you crying about? If you have you give, if you dont, you sit still. When they call for special offerings, it could be for specific projects, programmes or some community work somewhere. Why do you all assume it is so they could defraud people? People willingly give millions, because they have been so so blessed, but because you are broke and poor, you think it is a taboo or 419 for people to give money in church. SMH. If you understand the principle of giving, you will every week look for the nearest church to give something to, but if you dont, you will continue to think like a pauper and blame yourself when you find people progressing from God's hundred fold blessings. |
even they will win Lagos, , Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Edo. Gbam. |
