5w 20.......you can use hardex or any other high quality synthetic oil.

Getting your car scanned it the first step to solving this issue.

Cos I scanned it recently and got no code.
Wat I noticed is that I can do 195km from full tank to half tank.
But when it gets to dt half tank I can hardly do 150km

A physical inspection will be perfect.

Good days sir, was hoping you could help with this and I hope someone can too.
So I took my Hyundai Elantra 2009 manual transmission to replace the disc, plate and release bearing. After this was fixed i drove the car for like 30 minutes a s noticed that my car was over heating. As I came down to open the bonnet I noticed smoke coming out.
Called the repair guy that fixed the car and we allowed it cool to then drive it to his Workshop. The car started overheating again. This time, we both came down and he started to pour water into the water inlet that one tops when water is low. Some minutes later, water bubbles start escaping from this outlet.
Another mechanic said this is a sign of a blown head gasket and that he has to GRIND the cylinder to avoid the car overheating after fixing the gasket.
I'm a bit confused as to why he wants to do this. He's charging 45k for this.
Pls help!!!!

wow.....i also got this too a month ago.

Several factors can make an engine shake, from fuel pump to engine mount,dirty throttle body e.t.c.A physical inspection will be the best option.

You'd see where the AC technician fills the gas into or checks to see if there's gas in the AC chamber.

I have some issues with my RX 300 last month. Whenever I'm driving and the engine becomes hot, I do hear a sound like a ticking sound which makes it difficult to move.The temperature is a little bit above average. I ran a diagnosis and I was told to replace the two knock sensor and two 02 sensors. He said each sensors cost 7.5k each (30k). Last week a friend heard the sound and told me he had a similar issue with his Lexus too. His mechanic told me its a faulty thermostat and it has to be removed and connected the two fans directly, so it can start cooling the engine whenever I start the car. The car is working fine now, no more sound, moves very well and the temperature is back to normal.

I hope there won't be implications for the changes made? Thanks

Removing thormostat and connecting fan direct.......wow......please correct the error and go for a proper fix.

Your A/C technician is probably correct but take your vehicle for physical evaluation. BTW where is your location?

When those cut and nail technicians wey no gree learn work finish before dem go open one shop say dem be technicians finish with your car, you'd run back here for a bigger complain.

If according to your AC doctor the problem is low pressure then I will beg to use your language as above and ask "which pressure e come take dey cool for morning and night"...do you get the logic here? If yes, then you should have posed that same question above to the seeming quack who's about to get one over you with a compressor change.

Common sense should have been suffice to know that whatever is left in your AC cylinder now gets sufficient only when the temperature outside is mellowed.

Please my elders and automobile gurus in the house. Please urgently assist with solution to my Nissan xtrail suv. It suddenly developed a strange issue of not starting when cold or in the morning. This vehicle was bought toks 3 months ago and was driving fine until this sudden issue. After through research on the internet, I gave a technician cash to purchase a cam position sensor which we changed but still the vehicle keeps cranking without starting.
I need assistance as this issue is driving me crazy
