"Ok let's see", I said as I took a seat facing my bewildered friends. I suggested that we at least get home where I'd comfortably explain everything to them but they refused. They wanted the whole gist right there and then.

" I got an idea while we were all in the garden the day after that epic fail to scare Hailey into confessing. Particularly, it was after Hailey had suggested that I elope with her to another place, I don't know where. It kinda gave me an insight into how infatuated she was with me. It made me realize she could do anything and I mean anything to have me all to herself and so I started thinking harder. Nothing seemed to come till I thought about faking my death maybe in her grief at my death she might slip up and spill the truth but how to effectively fake my death became another issue, so I just discarded that thought. That thought however, got me thinking what if it wasn't just me that'd be dying but all of us", I paused when their faces expressed horror and I quickly added, "But of course, the deaths would be fake".

"So how was faking our deaths going to make her spill?", T asked confused.

"Yeah about that, I assumed…", I began.

"What?…you assumed….wait, you were gonna just risk our lives based on an assumption?", Josh sparked.

"Oh just calm down man, now you're vexed all the while Hailey was acting all trigger happy it was most like you were non-existent", I shut him up and that he did.

"To make someone like her confess, you'd have to make her believe she's got nothing to lose and that's how I came up with the airplane idea, hence my proposed getaway trip then", I said and they all gasped, well all except Fola. She'd said nothing the whole time but just looked on at me quite sadly.

"Wait, the whole Italy mini vac was all a part of your plan?", Femi asked with a look of awe on his face. I know he's enjoying the whole unravelling of the mystery.

"Yup", I answered. "And we'd still go there if you guys are up for it. So, where was I?", I asked getting back to the story.

" The part where you tell us the airplane trick", Vic replied.

"Yes, now I started thinking on how to crash a plane without really crashing it. I called Nas up and asked him if he had any ideas and he said he didn't. I started thinking again and I had an idea again but it was a very long shot but at that point I was very desperate and willing to risk everything. I called Nas up again and had him get about ten huge industrial fans, the ones that could blow up a storm if necessary. I had them placed strategically roundabout the plane and draped with covers so it wouldn't be recognisable as we were getting in. So while we were in here, Nas just turned the fans up at the highest speed and started the plane to make it look like we were actually flying. That's also why I placed the gun here too, it wasn't left by any security personnel. I brought it here, filled with fake bullets ofcourse. Someone had to shoot up parts of the plane so the surge of air from the bullet punctured parts would make it all the more believable that we were flying already", I continued.

"Wait, wait…slow down. What are you even saying? I looked out the window, I saw clouds. We were really flying", Vic said disbelievingly and I smiled. I was actually enjoying myself.

"What you saw my friend was a smoke screen. Look at the windows now, you'd see that you can't see nothing right? That's because they covered( with white stuff used for projecting images). I also had projectors at every window, projecting images from a flying plane in the exact speed and motion".

"Woah", Vic collapsed back into his seat in awe. "That's...that's... that's just mad. Who reasons like this?", He wondered aloud.

"Damn bro, that's genius. But wait, how did you know Hailey would even use the gun and what if her aim was great and she didn't puncture any holes in the plane?", He asked.

"Well, bro like I said earlier, someone had to shoot open some holes and if Hailey didn't, then I would have. It was very vital to the success of the plan. About how I knew Hailey would get the gun? Well, let's just say that was what my proposal was for. I had to do something to bring out that psycho side of her, the side that acts out of impulse without caring about the consequences. That was the side that was going to spill everything, not the calm and calculative persona we've all come to know", I said and began pacing around. I was feeling like one motivational speaker like that.

"You just announce to everyone that you're getting married to the love of your life...", I began and winked at Fola but she still didn't look away or express any emotion but I saw her lips twitch up into the smallest curve of a smile and then it was gone.

"So you just announce to everyone that you're getting married to the love of your life and amongst the people, is a psychotic person who's infatuated with you and then there's a gun lying around, what do you expect to happen?", I continued. " Mmmhmm..you guessed right and that's how I knew Hailey was going to get the gun. Now the plan was for her to shoot me and that's why I jumped in front of Fola when Hailey instead shot at her and that's also why I had red paint taped around my body", I said.

"You sly dog, damn you're good",Josh spoke up. "What the bullet caught your head though?", He asked. Now here's something I didn't plan for.

"Well…", I began, shrugging my shoulders. "I guess I'll just play dead still after all it's not like shed know she gave me a headshot, she's a terrible shooter after all", I continued.

"So with me( her love) almost dead and the plane 'crashing', it's only logical she feels like she's got nothing more to lose and then confess and there's no way someone as psychotic as she is would let us all live just after she confessed, no way. So as she opened the door, she saw a projected windy cloud and immediately she jumped off with her parachute, she just landed on a foam especially kept for her by my guys", I said as I relished the look of disbelief in the eyes.

"So it was all fake?", Fola asked quietly as she stood up and walked slowly to me.

"I was scared to death that I had lost you again maybe forever and it was all just for show?", She continued and I took a step back.

"You didn't even trust me enough to let me in on this 'grand' plan of yours?", She went on. "I was distraught with pain, pain so bad that I wanted to die and……", she was saying before I cut her off .

"I'm sorry babe,for making you go through all that but I'm not sorry I did what I did. Hailey was always going to be a sword piercing the life out of our relationship and so I'm not sorry for cutting her off cause I'd do it again and again if I have to….but it wasn't all fake, I really want to spend my life with you Folakemi. God knows I love you so much that the thought of a future without you is hell for me", I said and hugged her tight and she hugged me back too.

"Don't you dare die on me again, even if it's fake. Pls don't die, don't leave me alone to go through something like that again ", she cried as shee squeezed me in a crushing embrace.

"Hey guys", Nas said peeking his head in.

"Hey man", I greeted.

"Yeah, just wanted to check up on you guys and also wanted to tell you that the police have taken Hailey into custody.

"Really?..how?", T asked.

"Well, we already had cameras installed in the plane and immediately we captured the whole confession, I called the police.

"Wow", T exclaimed.

"Damn, so everything is good now?", Debbie asked and I nodded in affirmation.

As we all rode back to my house, it was all joy, happiness, love and most of all peace, peace of mind, for me especially. The kind of peace I've lacked for five years now.

1 year later

Third POV

She paused and took a deep breath as she sat waiting in her chair. Looking around, she saw other visitors like herself waiting, some talking with the person's they came to see. She smiled as she saw the person she came to see walk up to her.

Hailey frowned a little as she saw her visitor smile and wave at her like they were friends before. The guard unlocked her cuffs and she sat down and picked up the telephone.

"What are you doing here?", She asked icily. "Came to gloat?", She went on and her visitor smiled coyly.

"Wow, such a warm welcome Hales. Damn, they sure teach you guys some good manners here", her visitor said smiling.

"Guard!!", Hailey called out. " I'm done here", she said standing up. She didn't have the time to be gloated at now.

"Hey, hey chill out, Ok? I'm here to offer you something", the visitor said still with that daunting smile but there's no mistaking the seriousness in her voice.

"Not interested", Hailey rejected plainly. "Guard!… I'm done here", she called out again.

"What if I say it's about taking down Folakemi Dokubo and…..Dibz", the visitor said coolly and Hailey turned stiff at what she said. She remained like that for a while before she turned to face her visitor and slowly sat down.

"You see, I knew that would get your attention", the visitor said smiling.


Her visit to the correctional center had yield the desired result and now she was driving back to map out the plans but first she decided to make a quick stop somewhere first.
She drove inside the compound and she could see they'd made some nice changes. It wasn't like this the last time she was here.

'Nice', she thought. It would she thought it coincides with the what she plans to do, cause a change in their normal happy lives. A very defining change.

"Ding dong", the bell rang out as she waited for someone to get the door. I prepared her best friendly smile for the maid that'd get the door but that wasn't to be the case as the door opened and she beheld his alluring face. She smiled without knowing it as she saw him. That was what he did to her, her body just seemed to act out on its own when it came to him but that wasn't to be the case now. She'd discipline this body of hers to be obedient to her and her alone.

"Hey Dibz…long time no see", she said softly and sweetly as she smiled coyly. Dibz looked shocked as he saw her. She was one person he thought he'd never get to see ever again as it seemed she had disappeared out of earth's surface since.
Shocked to the bones, the only thing that escaped his lips in a whisper was her name, "LIV".

Dibz's POV

I squinted my eyes in a struggle to open them. As I opened them slowly I tried to remember what had happened and that's when everything came back to me.

"Fola", I screamed but it barely came out as a whisper. I tried to move and that's when I felt it. My shirt was soaked real bad. I struggled to fully open my eyes and I saw a blurred vision of Fola over me. She was weeping profusely as she held my head in her laps. The last time I remembered was jumping right in front of Fola when I saw Hailey pull the trigger.

"Fo..fo..Fola", I struggled to say.

"I'm here baby..I'm here Ok? Just…just…ju..just don't try to talk Ok. Pls.. you're gon be Ok", Fola replied admist tears.

"No…no..no"!, Hailey screamed and I turned to see her. She had tears in her eyes too as she still had the gun trained on Fola.

"Even now Dibz, even nowwww"!!!!, She screamed. "Even now in death, you still choose her. Why..whyyy…all I've ever done is love you, why can't you just love me back ,eh?!! Why must it be her, why?!!", She went on. "Now look what you've made me do, you've made me kill you. Well, I guess it's for the best. If I can't have you then no one else will, especially not this b***h", she said as she cocked the gun and aimed at Fola again. Gasps escaped from the rest of the guys as they saw Hailey aim for Fola. I knew I had to do something now, if not she'll kill Fola and everything would just be all for nothing.

"Why don't you do it then?", Fola said fearlessly as she carefully kept my head on the floor and slowly stood up to face Hailey.

"Why don't just shoot me now, huh?", She took a step towards her. "All you've done is cause me pain, so just finish it off then. We're all gonna die anyway, the plane is already crashing so just do it already you psycho", Fola went on.

"Don't call me thattt!!!", Hailey screamed and before we knew it she pulled the trigger. Fola just stood, not trying to dodge or anything and I felt my heart stop for some seconds. I looked towards Fola and there she was still standing fiercely, eyes closed and I sighed in relief.

'She missed, she missed', I said to myself with my hand on my chest. Thankfully, Hailey had missed but unfortunately, the bullet had punctured another part of the plane and air aggressively entered into plane. Beeping sounds could be heard everywhere in the plane as the plane bent towards one side causing everybody to fall towards that side.

"Hailey pls stop this, let's figure out a way to stay alive in this plane crash first pls", Debbie cried.

"Shut up, just shut up you wicked friend. You, sweet little Debbie, you knew I liked your brother and yet you didn't do anything to help me. Instead you squealed in joy when miss perfect here snatched him up from me. You were supposed to be my friend you treacherous b***h", she lashed out at Debby who jumped behind Vic's back in fear when Hailey started waving the gun in her direction.

"Hailey pls calm down, let's do this in a civil manner. Let's figure out a way to fix this plane or better still find where the parachutes are, so we can take Dibz to a hospital or how can you claim you love him and yet allow him to die", T chipped in carefully with her hands up.

"Shut up, shut up!!! Don't you dare question my love for him", Hailey shouted.

"Why why why!!!", She screamed facing me". "Why do you always make me do things like this,eh? I'm not a horrible person, I'm just a girl in love that needs to be loved back in return. Yes, that's true, because I love you, you must love me back but no Dibz, you just make it hard for me and you. You make me do things Dibz darling, things that are not befitting of a lady like me", she said and held her head in her hands. My interest got piqued as she said I made her do things.

"Hales", I called out as I forced myself to sit up well admist protests of Fola that I shouldn't stress myself.

"Yes darling. My love, I'm sorry I shot you, I'm sorry I didn't mean to, it was supposed to be this witch. Pls forgive me",she rambled on and on.

"It's Ok Hales, I'm Ok. You said I made you do things, things like what?", I asked.

"Oh you make me do things", she said nodding her head. "Because you're hung up on this b**ch, you made me drug you..and ..and..force myself on you while you were unconscious and……and then frame you for rape", she said as she bit her nails like a kid.

Gasps escaped from almost everybody's mouths at her revelation.

"You mean I never raped you and you did all that by yourself five years ago?", I asked, feigning shock.

"Yes, yes",she said nodding her head. "It was all a lie and since we're all dying in this plane crash, I guess I should just come clean about the whole thing. I'm sorry my love but you caused it, you brought this upon yourself by not choosing me even now", she said as she suddenly stood up. The whole child like act she was exhibiting before all gone.

"You", she pointed the gun at Femi. "You know where the parachutes are right, get them all now", she ordered and Femi just stood rooted where he was.

"I'm not going anywhere", he replied defiantly.

"Alright then", Hailey smiled as she aimed at him, ready to pull the trigger. "Guess I'll just give you an earlier death instead".

"Wait, wait, Hales", I pleaded.

"Femi pls just get the parachutes for her, atleast she wants to help us", I begged.

Femi got the parachutes to her and she smiled. She wore hers first before she faced us.

"Where do I open the door?", She asked as she finished gearing up.

"Open the door?..are you crazy, we haven't worn ours yet and you want to open the door of a flying plane? Don't you know the rush of air can blow us all away?",Josh spoke up for the first time since this incident.

"Yeah, I know that but I don't trust you guys so I need to go first. When I'm gone then y'all can close the door back and gear up", Hailey said.

"It's the red button on the wall beside you", I said.

"Thanks my love", she smiled as she walked over to press the button.

"I suggest y'all on to something tight", she said and pressed the button and the door open allowing a strong surge of wind into the plane.

"I'm sorry for this", she said as she holding on to something while she kicked the remaining parachutes out the door.

"It wouldn't be wise to let you all go free after I just confessed to what I did. I wouldn't want to leave loose ends that would haunt me later. I'm sorry", she said and smiled coyly.

"You devil",Vic shouted.

"You evil b***h", Femi cursed at her.

"And lest I forget..",she said as she pulled the gun up to aim at Fola.

"Say hi to the devil for me, will you", she said she shot Fola and jumped off the plane immediately.

"Noooooo!!!", Tiara screamed rushing to Fola's falling body, not minding that the door was still open and she could be blown away. She almost got blown out but I caught her hand while I held unto the hand clutch with my other hand.

"J..o..s.h", I called out. "The door, get the door". He understood and stretched a great length and hit the red button.
The door closed up and everything became normal again. T rushed to Fola's body, shaking her.

"Fola…Fola..fo…fola. Pls open your eyes, say something pls", T cried and Josh went over to console her.

"It's alright T, she's fine", I said as i stood like nothing happened to me.

"You….how…what..what do you mean?", She asked surprised as she saw me acting like nothing's wrong.

"She's fine. Is she bleeding?", I said as I pulled off my soaked shirt. T quickly looked at Fola to see if she was bleeding, she searched but didn't see anything.

"How…whats happening?",she cried.

"Bro what's going on?!", Femi asked impatiently.

I ignored the questions as I pulled off shirt, revealing the drip bags of blood red wine sellotaped on my body.
Just then Fola stirred and T helped her up.

"What's happening?", She asked as she slowly regained consciousness. I peeled the tape off my body and brought out my phone to make a call.

"Yo, bro did you get all that?", I said immediately the call connected.

"Yeah man. We've got her in custody sef" Nas Arinze replied.

"Yes", I exclaimed as I fist pumped the air. "Aight man, uhmm turn off everything we are good to go", I said smiling and just like that the lights in the plane became steady, the air surging through the punctured holes in the plane stopped and the door opened revealing that we were still in the hangar. We never left. I turned to the shocked expressions on the faces of my gang and smiled.

"Ok, where do I start?", I asked…..TBC

Guys sorry for not updating as promised, just had talked with my landlord in school today and it just messed up mind and I couldn't think straight. Baba still dey insist make I pay for months wey I no dey the apartment, worst part is the 6months I paid for, I didn't even spend up to a month there. Prologue

He slipped another cloret mint gum into his mouth to refresh his breath as he looked down to the beautiful bouquet of daisies in his hand. Today was the day he was willing to damn the consequences, wear his grown man pants and confess his undying love for her. She was the very beautiful and elegant Nonye, his childhood friend and sweetheart.
They'd been friends since forever together with Dayo. The three had been inseparable since they were still shitting their diapers.
Today he was finally acting on Dayo's advice to come clean about his feelings for Nonye or watch someone else snatch her up.
Finally, getting to the Dept of Mass Communication -where Nonye majored in- he went to the hall where she had said they'd be having lectures in but saw that it was empty. He looked at his wristwatch and saw that he was late and the lecture had already ended but then he figured she'd be in the school's radio studio where she did shifts. On getting there he heard her voice and smiled that his guess wasn't wrong but at the same time he was really nervous. Due to the anxiety he decided to wait and get himself together before entering and that was when he heard it.

"Um D, there's something I'd like to tell you", he heard Nonye say to Dayo. She always liked to call him D. He wondered what Dayo was doing there but figured maybe he was just waiting for her to finish up as the three of them usually waited for each other to finish up so as to have lunch together or leave together.

"Sure, shoot", Dayo permitted.

"Uhmm..I..", she began nervously.

" I.. I-I really like you D and I don't mean as a friend. I've been feeling like this for quite sometime now and I just had to let it out before it suffocates me. I..I don't know if you feel the same way?", he heard her say and his heart sank. There was a pause and he didn't know what was happening cus he had his back against the wall just beside the entrance to the studio. Somehow he was assured cus there's no way that Dayo knowing how he felt would say yes to her or so he thought.

"Wow…I…um..Nonye this is all so sudden and I…-", Dayo began before She cut him off.

"It's Ok D, you don't have to answer me now. Just give it time, I can wait", Nonye said and the last shred of flesh his heart was hanging on cut and his heart fell.

"No..no Nonye, I do actually. I feel the same way but.."

"Then nothing else matters D. You have feelings for me and I, you so let's give us a chance, yeah"?,Nonye jumped in and just like that he heard the kissing sounds and the flowers dropped from his shaky hands.…………..

Meet Dayo Michaels, the complete all rounder. Handsome, intelligent, caring and athletic stud. He's the son of Senator dad and his mum is a professor of economics.

Now here is Chinonyerem Felicity Orji. Fondly called Nonye by all, she's the definition of a beauty goddess. She's literally turned heads everytime she walked into the room and add brains to the face then you've got the complete package. She's also quite witty and isn't afraid to go for what she wants. She's the heir to top notch press company. Newspapers, tabloids, TV stations, you name it, NFO Media had it all.

Then there's the last of the trio, Kachi Kalu popularly called KK. Handsome, introverted, intelligent and not as popular as his friends due to his status as bastard and the fact that he's not from a rich home like the others and yes you guessed correctly, that's me….the flower boy.

Haven't yet gotten a permanent name so I'd just add this one to one of my "Un" series…….lets call it "Unrequited" for now…….Coming soon .

Dibz's POV

"You guys just had one job, just one small job and you blew it and then got paid. All you had to do was just to write the words and leave without a trace but no, you had to leave a trail of red paint all the way to the store room, bravo", Fola shouted to the guys she'd hired to paint the words in the room Hailey was staying in. She was absolutely furious and I think a huge chunk of the anger came from the fact that Hailey figured her out. She hated being outsmarted and worse more by the person she loathes the most in this world. I just laid on the bed playing with some sort of puzzle cube, trying to match all the colours. As much as I wanted to say 'I told you so' , I knew she was only trying to help myself and my family redeem our name but cmon using the ghost theory? Haba now, that's quite lame but of course I won't tell her that before I become the one who's lame, literally.

"Babeee"?, Fola whined as she stumped her way towards me and laid on me as I was just getting some leeway in my game. I sighed when the cube fell of my hand due to impact from her laying on me.

"You know one of these days I'm going to put you up on all media platforms and say 'Girlfriend for sale' ", I said as i wrapped my arms round her waist, pressing hee more into me( me that was complaining just now).

"Oowwm, stop", she whined again but with a giggle this time.

"On a more serious note babe, I don't know what to do anymore. It'd would have been easier if Beatrice would kindly grace us with her presence", she continued, saying the last part abit loud like she wanted Beatrice to actually hear how angry she was at her.

"Uh, I think you mean grace you with her presence, I know I speak for the rest of the guys when I say I don't want to meet no ghost, especially a vengeful and matchmaking one", I countered.

"Yeah right, I know you're still doubting it but don't worry you'll see soon that she's real", Fola said as she pecked me and stood up.

"No no no, come back. You got me all booed up and now you're leaving? I even forfeited my game and I was this close to solving it", I complained, using my thumb and index fingers to describe how close I was to solving it.

"Aww, sorry lemme just whip something up for us to eat. Hailey ruined my mood earlier and I couldn't cook anything again", she said and skipped off.

"You're evil you know that right?!!", I shouted at her retreating figure.

"Love you too!", She shouted back and I shook my head smiling when I heard a knock on my door and Hailey peeked in.

"Hey, can I come in?",she asked smiling.

"Yeah sure", I permitted as she walked in giving my room as once over.

"So this is where the great Dibz lays his head", she whispered dramatically and I smiled.

"Hey, um..about last night—"

"Oh cmon, it's nothing. It's just a harmless prank friends pull on each other but I don't know…",she paused and looked at me.

"I feel like I'm not wanted here and like I said earlier, I wouldn't want it to seem like I'm imposing or intruding. I just..o just..", she stuttered and all of a sudden grabbed my hands.

"I just wanted to spend some time with you, you know, get some alone time together. You know, we can go somewhere else where we can just be alone, just the two of us", she continued and there was this sense of urgency in her tone, like suddenly she became a junkie in desperate need of drugs.

"Uhmm…..Hales", I started as I carefully took my hand away from hers so as not to trigger any sort of spite as I don't know how she'd react given the instant change in her mood. My fear almost materialized as she frowned deeply when I took my hand away.

"What"!?, She raised her voice up abit. "What… because of Fola? You said it yourself that you and Fola aren't in the best of terms at the moment and she even invited Moe over too, to spite you but I'm here, I'm here",she said taking hold of my hand once more.

"Okay..breakfast, no lunch or brunch, whatever in bed", Fola said as she entered with a tray of food and paused when she saw us. Hailey immediately withdrew her hand and just like that her facial expression returned to normal.

"Hi Fola", Hailey said as she stood up and left but not before pausing at the door and staring at me briefly.

"Babe.. I ..", I began explaining but she beat me to it.

"I heard it all", she said as she set the tray on the bed and sat beside me. "Damn, she really is crazy. I was at the door the whole time", she went on. I sighed a sigh of relief at that, thank God she witnessed the whole thing myself.

"I was about to start cooking when I realised I forgot my phone , wanted to play music so I went back for it only to see Hailey peeking hee head in and then entering fully into the room so I snuck and hid at the door the whole time", she explained.

"She's really out of it", I muttered as I sat back well and then something hit me. " Then how did you still manage to whip something up for us to eat"?, I asked curiously.

"Oh, about that….", she said and opened the coverplates to reveal empty plates. I gasped in shock, mostly because I was actually hungry too.

"Babe, I'm hungry now", I whined.

"I know I'm sorry but I had to think of an escape for you now, one that would not make it seem like we are onto her. I'm sorry, let me order something", she said as she drew my pouting self to her and kissed the top of my head like I was a child. I loved it sha.

Late in the evening, we all gathered in the garden to just chill and talk about stuff. I zoned out at some point cus nothing they were discussing seemed to interest me. Hailey was there too and she was acting all normal like she hadn't just suggested we elope early today when she knew I was fully committed to Fola and she also had a boyfriend. What haunted my thoughts more was that look of sick rage on her face when I took my hand back and was about to politely reject her offer. It was like she was possessed instantly by another personality, like there was some switch in her mind that she could just switch on and off to whole other personality. I know nothing happened but what about later, when we are alone or she's alone with Fola, where there'll be no one to stop her from harming us or even do something crazier. I had to come up with a plan quick to end all this, Hailey's not stable mentally and is a ticking time bomb to us all, she needs to be locked up some place where she can get the help she needs. All the evening different strategies went through my mind but I just couldn't get the perfect foolproof plan, they all had one or two loopholes, and at the moment there was no room at all for any but what to do, we just had to try.

"Hey guys, anyone else feels like this get together thing isn't working"?, I asked interrupting whoever was speaking. I had a plan to try out,it was crazy but worth it.

"Uh…. I mean it's not that bad but it could be better I guess", Femi ever the diplomat answered. No matter how foolish your idea is, Femi would find the most polite way to rebuff it such that you won't feel hurt.

"I thought I was the only one and didn't want to voice my opinion so as not to be tagged a killjoy", Victor added and after that, there were other unified responses except from Fola because it was her idea to stay here so as to seek help from her ghost bestie lol.

" Yeah, so I was thinking maybe we do the get together somewhere else, like another location, somewhere more exotic", I said and got positive responses from them.

"Cool, there's this really cool and exotic reserve in Ogun..", T was saying before I cut her off.

"Uh, sorry for cutting you off T but I was thinking something, international, I mean school is on break, we've got all the time, besides it's just a week tops. Any country at all", I suggested.
"We could even spin a globe and let it decide if deciding by ourselves would be an issue", I added.

"Uh Ok,guess we all have to break our banks now", Vic said.

"Nah, don't stress I've got it covered. Everything covered, I can have a jet ready early tomorrow morning", I said and that brought some hypes reactions from them, even Fola gave me a 'what is it' look as I said I would sponsor everything. I needed everything to work out perfectly and so I wasn't scared to spend some dough to ensure that.

"Bankole himself", Josh hailed.

" Ehh, why Bankole..Is that his new name or what"?, T asked.

" Cus he's got a bank on him", Josh replied smiling, feeling like some sensei. I bet that one got him all sugared up.

"So, it's all settled then. Tomorrow at first light we move", I said and all cheered to it. Great, the first stage is a go, now on to the next one. I turned to look at Hailey and as I sensed she was looking at me too with a coy smile on her face like she knew something was up and then she mouthed 'thank you' to me and I was left confused the more. I was confused at that gesture but then it hit me that maybe she thinks this impromptu trip is a way of me giving in to her earlier demand of me following her to another place where we'd be alone. Joker.

"What's going on babe"?, Fola asked as we came into the room.

"How..you don't want to go on the trip"?, I asked. I already knew what she meant but I need to play dumb now and not give away anything for it to go well.

"No, not that, it's just that…its all impulsive and you..you didn't even discuss anything about it with me", she continued.

"I know, I know…its just that with the failure of the first plan, I just felt we actually needed a real getaway to refresh ourselves, get some exposure and fun. Who knows we might just discover something that'd be of great help to us", I said as i held her worried face and drew her cheeks and smiled.

"Besides, I've got a surprise for you tomorrow", I added and that seemed to get the desired effect. She immediately forgot her worries and became overly anxious about what my surprise was going to be, even I was anxious about what I was going to come up with cus I also said the surprise thingy out of impulse too to throw her off my back.

Tomorrow came quick and fast, we got to our private hanger at our airport where I gave the manager all our passports to carry out all the necessary protocols. Perks of being the owner of an airport, no need to stress over this kind of things. We'd even be in the clouds already before he's done.
Conveniently, they'd spun the globe and it stopped at Italy although I don't fully believe it was spun fairly but who cares.
We all settled in as the hostesses brought some drinks for us to cool off and the security personnel checked everything to ensure all was alright and like that we started our journey.

"Oh sh*t, look at this",Femi said as he waved a gun in his hand. The girls gasped as they saw it but dude was just smiling.

"Woah, what are you doing with a gun"?, Debbie asked scared.

"It's not mine, saw it here. I guess one of the security personnel forgot it here", he replied.

"Well, if that's the case why just keep it and let God use you well on this flight", Vic said as he sipped from Debbie's cup. I wanted to tell him to stop that but I couldn't cus Fola was on my lap drinking her wine. I just don't know why she can't sit on a seat, I mean it practically meant for sitting but somehow she feels more comfortable on my lap, and sometimes it's uncomfortable for me.

"You said you had a surprise for me", Fola whispered in my ear and I smiled. I knew she wasn't letting that one go. Well, here goes nothing. I stood up hitting my glass getting everyone's attention before I started. I didn't plan well for it so I just went with it anyhow.

"Folakemi Alicia Dokubo", I began , my heart beating faster than normal. Out of tension I mistakenly let my glass fall off my hand.

"I'm..I'm..sorry", I bent to pick the pieces but Fola dragged me up immediately.

"Oh please leave the useless glass already and continue silly", she said impatiently while keeping a nervous smile on her face.

"Umm…Fo…Folakemi..

"Oh, I know my name just…just..go on..go on", She urged.

"I..I mean …will..you..will you marry me", I asked , facing the floor. One second, two seconds, three seconds..still no answer.

"Uh…you know…you don't have to answer now..take your..", I was saying when she pulled me closer and kissed me. I knew her answer already with that kiss, it was slow and very intimate. There and then, kissing became a means of communication cus everything was understood through that kiss. I knew I was madly in love with her already but now I was lost in it, like I can't find my way back again. It's her or nothing else.

We still kissed admist the Cheers and claps when we heard it. Gboooa! Gboooa! In shock we all turned and saw Hailey with the gun raised up high and then lowered to point at us. She had shot the ceiling of the plan and punctured it causing the plane to become unstable.

"Everybody, get down now except Fola. You my dear, are not going to live to marry my man",she said and pulled the trigger…..TBC
