Pls, lets just give Nimcee time... I feel much better with hope radiating all around me. The time is closer today than it was yestday. My worry nw is all these unwaranted praise singing & criticism. Most of those who have been interviewed or traind r clapping 4 nimc; defending them with all their guts, while some of those not yet called r seriously raining crticisms. .. Why don't we shelve our selfhsh interests for once nd call a spade a spade.
They say 'in a country of the blind, one eyed man is the king'. Nimc so far, has performed better than most (if not all) other gov. parastatals from what I can deduce. However, they still have a very long way to go. I still insist that Nimc is not angelic, but when compared to other gov firms, it is.

Forthose of u singing praises of Nimc, if Nimc was gd or excellent, they wouldn't have sacked about 4000 of their old staffs in the bid to re-position the commission. The D G is a gd man who wants to revolutionize Nimc for once, knowing fully well that it(Nimc) has been in darkness. Thats why they want new people that will pursue this dream & be shining light in the organisation. But with the way some of us who r prospective employees r acting, it seems we have forgotten why Nimc needs us. Nimc before & presently is under performing. If Nimce were to be what some people here r insinuating, then there wouldn't have been any need to bring in brilliant and vibrant minds. Nimc needs no sycophants...OK? We need to change our attitude and stand for the truth always.. God bless the D.G. for initiating a process that could make Nimce the envy of other public organisations. I beleive he wants us to come in and drive this Nimc project with utmost vigor, patriotism and probity. Not with sycophancy.. Lets all brace up pls..

Swit4real just told u wat 2 do.. No one knows anything.. just make sure ur line is on ur phone. If u receive any text from HCP, u rspond.. If u don't, u move on to other things.

how long will it take the board or FCC to ratify what ever they have to ratify? Since they have been involved in this whole process, why is it taking them forever to approve of it? How about people who r given one hand on the spot employment at the instruction of one influential political goon.. does Fcc or board still ratify those ones? there are even situations where gov. organisations employ people and then send their names later on for necessary ratifications. I really do not subscribe to all these Board or Fcc talk.. Nimcee should just let us know where we stand or better still, they should update their portal to let us know the position of things..

seriously now,, I don't understand what all these delays may mean? after the online application stage, there was one month of delays b4 we were called for test... After the aptitude test in february, there was another one month delay before interview started.. After the first set of interviews in April, there was another little break... and then, interview kick started again in june.. after a whole month of interviews, training kick started immediately for enrollment officers without any break.. then, we all thought they were really rushing things up cos time was against them.. Since training ended on the 7th, no more interviews, no more training notifications... yet, no apl.. Another long thing has started again. Does Nimcee not know that all these delays could be detrimental to this whole process?? Hmmm... I hope all is well...

olushaggy: @ all please I checked on NIMC site but to realise my status is @ Examination stages and I can see some people had gone for interview and even traning. Does that mean I did not pass the test? I applied for Admin/HR Officer(Snr.Officer).

Hmmm! may be.. Just keep hoping.. U may still be called. Its not over yet..

Do any of us know if budgetary allocation approved for NIMC can cover for additional staff in the fiscal year, this is a question we need to ponder with,because I forsee this recruitment crossing over to 2014.

But in any case, it's a project the country can not go back from,presently there is no working identity database in the country and most of the sharp practice (corruption) facing our economy is hinged to Identity misrepresentation.

I urge all of us who are waiting for this job ,to excercise patience because most of us will make it to NIMC, but one thing is paramount "PATIENCE". We have done our bits, its now in God's court.

if for any reason this recruitment exercise extends till next yr, it wouldn't be because of budgetary allocation.. Do not forget that this whole process started before the end of last fiscal yr.. so there must have been adequate arrangement for the staff strength that Nimcee would require for the upcoming year.. the number of staffs presently working under nimcee u must admit with me is grossly below the Nimcee's required staff strength. So there should be more than enough money to take care of all that will be absorbed and even pay all the areas that should accrue to new employees.
Remember, contingency planning is very vital in any organisation of class. They were very much aware that more staffs will come in this yr, so adequate arrangement must have been in place..

No this is not applicable to state civil service, since it is employment within your state.
In most state civil service , after employment, you have to work for 3-5-6 months before they will pay you your accumulative salaries for the 5-6 months.You also need to know that in state civil service , you are mostly entitle to your salary monthly at the entry level ie level 8 without no periodic allowances

Some federal parastatals also do it. A friend of mine with VON worked for the first three months after his appointment before he was paid every thing in bulk..

Talk Is Cheap: From what I gathered, some parastatal pay their staff some amount of money after d first 28days of work which comprises of diff allowances. Like FIRS,a friend of mine dere got almost 750,000,some got 800,000 n above. All dese is together with d first month salary,transport allowance,feeding etc. So I hrd we might get same from NIMC bt nt too sure. But am praying its true.

I don't know why the presidential economic team have decided to withdraw a huge percentage of the cash in circulation all in the bid to reduce inflation.. As a result, the middle class citizens who sustain economic activities on the streets and in our common markets are financially deprived. I hope the CBN governor and the minister of finance know what they r doing.

DG Nimcee was on AIT yesterday. He spoke about the features of the GMPC that will issued by NImcee. According 2 him, the encryption tech around the card will meet international standard and will be recognized all over the world. He also said the card can aswell be used by immigrations all over the world for on the spot identification of Nigerians. these r the few things I can remember from all that he said... peace..

I gat u brother, I really applaud ur continuity on this thread.. many have fallen by the way side, even though I know they still monitor this thread as guests.. It takes integrity and probity to last on a thread like this. that's becos a huge number of people all around the world and from different backgrounds r following this thread. the day I posted a number here, I got calls from different parts of the world. A lot of people r following this Nimcee recriutment either for their friends or for their relations. where ever all manner of people r, insults r banned to be tumbling from different angles.So I am not surprised. I have also been severally insulted, but most of my adversaries have disappeared.. When u stand for the truth, even ur enemies will be in harmony with u. So insults doesn't really influence my attitude, especially when I know I am on the right track. That Funom man u mentioned lied in the process of trying to address something. nd he also so tried to witch hurt somebody. To me, that was wrong. Or would u have acted the way he did? I don't think so. We all reason differently.. so there is banned to be disagreements here nd there. but we disagree to agree not to continue disagreeing. I have been in many leadership positions, mixed up with all kinds of people and in many cases, violently opposed even when I was right. such is life. But when ur on the side of God, I bet u, u will always come out victorious. I am stating this based on experience.. so forget about all that is past and those who suddenly went mute. Lets look upto what lies ahead. Let bygone be bygone.. My main concern now is Nimcee's next step. I am sure thats also ur main concern..God bless us all.

After the third batch come out of thier training , in 8 days time from Now .
People will start to know thier the next line of action from them.

u r very correct my brother... Forgive me 4 that mistake..That not withstanding, since Nimcee emphasisd on project commencing fully in the 3rd quarter of the yr, that means they may not want the 3rd quarter 2 elapse without getin registration started on a larger scale.. So our expectation has 2 be very high this month.. Completely my opinion... and I hope it matters..
