I love the energy in her song.

Edo state plays a crucial role in Nigeria. But unfortunately most people are unaware of this.

Even the indigenes of Edo state don't really understand how important they are in formation of Nigeria.

Can care to make us understand?

Politics / What If Rabiu Kwankwaso Steps Down For Atiku? by Moye715: 2:42pm On Jan 23, 2023
Having observed the statement of Rabiu Kwankwaso in Chatham house UK he said.. “If you had been from the North, I am sure you won’t have made that statement for Kwankwaso to withdraw for Labour Party. When we sat down, what I told them is what I will tell you. if they want Kwankwao to withdraw, let’s bring the criteria and select the best. Anytime they have a better candidate, I am ready to talk to him.”
We should ponder on the bolded.

So my South west and Eastern brothers constantly and foolishly abusing themselves here, have you guys pondered on this? If this move that is being speculated happens, can Obi or Tinubu work out plans for Southern presidency ?

It seems some of us don't understand what Nyesom Wike is talking about.

Is there any country that practice diaspora voting? If you want to vote and you really care about your country, come back home and vote.

This is one of the major challenges they face. I met a guy in Chicago in 2018. He moved in from Europe. Last year, his dad died, the man who spent his hard-earned money on his education, including his master's degree in Europe. He only cried his heart out but couldn't come home cos he had no papers yet. I advised him to return to Europe since he had their papers and work or he applied for work in USA and processed his papers from EU and emigrate legit. He didn't listen, till his US visa expired in hands. He had already completed his programme before he left for USA from Europe. He's been visiting USA from Europe as a student all along.

Even some can't afford to visit yearly, regardless of their status over there. Once they look at that money, they change their mind. They'd prefer sending that money instead meanwhile, money can't buy relationship and family. Seeing your parents and relations around you alone is more healing than any medication.

Here despite the economic situation, people would dash those in need here money freely , despite not earning so much but ask them in the Diaspora to do same, they could block your lines forever. I understand it's not that easy over there. I pray we get leadership right this year so our economy and country can fare better and people can come home and invest. I crave family so much. I can't afford to spend a quarter without seeing my lovely parents and siblings. I like being with people around me.
Over there , everyone is afraid of neighbours. Here you can barge into your neighbour's house and ask if they have chilled water inside their fridge or anything to munch, out of love. You can't do that over there. They'd call police at the slightest suspicion. You could be living with the neighbour next door for months and yet, you're not seeing each other and that's why people commit suicide more easily there. Nobody to share thoughts with and by the time they add one plus one, they've ended it before you know it.

For me, I like putting my money down for whatever I like without anyone coming to me and be asking me to pay for one gbese. If I want to build house, I build and move on, same if I want to buy car. Mortgage and stuffs aren't my style. I be African man, original.

Chai African Original! You're really in tune with your existence, infact you know yourself. May your days be long!

No one is trying to be a British wannabe. English is needed in UK and Nigeria has English as it's official language. Also, isn't it your brothers n sisters that troop I to UK cos of bad economy and isn't it your father and his colleagues that are at helms if power that misruled the country?
I know Japanese, Germans etc speak English anyhow but their economy is good. They don't Japa anyhow

Bad economy isn't peculiar to Nigeria alone, it's a current global phenomenon even in your heavenly UK.

You don't understand.

Learning British English is for making gain too

You are not meant to choose someone's way of making gain for him or her

If I want to make gain through British English,it never means I am a slave.

Your comparison of Nigeria to China,India, etc is unnecessary.

Besides, nobody is really looking for perfection in English or whatever that means anywhere.

That's all.

Pls what kind of gain ?
So those that don't speak the queen English are not gaining in life ?

You are the irredeemable one. Schools that posses qualified teachers that speak British English aren't affordable by majority in Nigeria. That's what I mean. If you don't v deep sense, fall out!

Are student in those schools more brilliant than student in public schools? It's that slavish inferior mentality we're talking about. Americans, indians or Chinese don't look for perfection in english but hey, a Nigerian wants to speak english more than british king, some even shame their fellow countrymen on it. English is just means of communication and is not a prerequisite for intelligence.

All Europe na scam! All Nigerians running to Europe and America have poor mindsets! Honestly, I really wish all these countries close their gates against all Africans! Nigerians are so inferior, shallow-minded, materialistic and unpatriotic! 90% are desperate and lazy! All they desire is easy life! Go to Europe, life is very difficult! I ran away from the UK because of nothing to boast of! I came to Nigeria more than 8 years ago and I am so happy I did! I get everything in Nigeria! Everything! UK is a boring state! English people are mostly illitrate! Nigerians, Pakistanis, Indians are their servants! They work for them. They are their providers! Most English people are getting free money from their government! The money brought from Asia and Africa. Naira can never rise! Yen can never rise above pounds and dollar! This is Neo-colonialism! African leaders, I blame u! It is ur fault! It is ur fault Buhari! It is ur fault! Nothing in Europe! Nothing in the UK!

Broda you really capture the person of an average Nigerian.

You dey craze?
What's so bad in Nigeria that you can't stay back.

How many Nigerians v luxury of studying proper English not to talk of dutch or German. The economy here is so poor that Nigerians trying to survive in ordinary Cotonou, Togo, Libya, Sudan, Ghana etc is as much as those in UK. We just want to live anywhere that we can see daily bread. No one want to deliberately go to a country with economic crisis but if their crisis is better than where they came from, they ll go. Sort your home first and see that Nigerians love their home more than anywhere!

I never knew speaking English is a luxury. someone like you will sheepishly nod to a Chinese or Arab man's english. You are irredeemable !

Cus we are back to the days of slavery, this time in a deliberate way. UK economy is much dependent on black manpower not even now that they're out of EU so they'll have to get it with any means possible. Foolish Nigerians are rushing over there with the "better life" mantra. This is what you get when ur history is deprived from you, you'll have a generation that doesn't know who they are, where they are coming from also no idea of where they are going.. It's a shame!!
Nigerians are for sale on the global labour market.
Are you a commodity to be bought?
