OtemWonyahweh:

At the beginning of my ministry in February, someone tried to stop me. His name is Eusebius. He is the writer of 70% of the New Testament doctrine. He is inspired to write of jesus by the real Jesus who didn't exist in our own world. He has access to the library of then, and he added much text to the texts which the early Christians have written about their son of god.
Many sons of gods existed before and they all didn't exist physically in our own world, but inspired writers brought them to limelight. Jesus is one of those whom inspired writers brought to limelight, but Eusebius and Constantine destroyed every other materials about them all and gave the story of Jesus the light of the day for uniformity sake. Eusebius is one to be credited for 70% of the things written concerning Jesus.
is it possible for anybody eg. Me to hear from your God

where do chemical engineers work?
Chemical engineers work in places like laboratories, processing plants, engineering design offices, corporate head offices and research institutions, and there are opportunities to work around the world. Mostly chemical engineers work standard hours, but from time to time they may be required to meet demanding deadlines – especially when there is an important project to get offthe ground. Chemical engineers may sometimes even need to be on call 24 hours a day. Some may work shifts during the commissioning of new plants.Companies that employ chemical engineers include those that produce food, plastics, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, metals andglass. You’ll find chemical engineers working in environmental protection organisations and cleaning up contaminated sites or in water treatment. They work in research laboratories, chemical plants and petroleum refineries. Not to forget iron and steel product manufacturers, producers of organic chemicals and of course the mining and minerals processing industries...

make i help timmy small..

What chemical engineers do
Jack of all trades, master of them all too!!!
A chemical engineer focuses on the processes involved with transforming raw materials into usable, viable products.Chemical engineers apply their skills in science, maths, environmental management and economics to make production processes more efficient. They aim to get the best results at the least cost and with the lowest impact on the environment possible. As a chemical engineer, you could find yourself working on the following activities:*.Design and developmentof chemical processes and equipment*.Optimisation and control of industrial operations*.Plant operation and management*.Fundamental and applied research from the molecular level to full industrial scale*.Environmental management, monitoring and pollution controlWhile being a design engineer or a product development manager may sound like an ideal job – there are so many other options for chemical engineers. Think pharmaceutical engineer, oiland gas engineer or even a metallurgist. You could workfor multinational firms like Caltex or Shell in petroleum,Seimens in membrane purification, BOC in gases, or in research at ANSTO. You could even end up in consultancy.

Timmytimmy:

Hehehehe. The problem with this your point is simply,"should a fresher's uncle be the authority for determining which of the careers is more viable for employment?"

You know, there's a common misconception people have about Chem Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Petrochemical Engineering. They think these names are just synonyms. Well, they are not. My dad's friend once told me that I should have chosen Elect because the petroleum sector can't take Everyone. An average person can guess what Elect Engrs, civil engrs or even Mech engrs do but they can't guess what Chem Engineering is about because the name doesn't give away much. We do so much more than petroleum, sir. We deal with substances, any substance at all. That's why it is heavily economically relevant especially if you are from a school like OAU.

Oh well, I'm sure that guy would leap for joy if he saw the statistics up there.

You have no point here.

I'm going to post the places chemical engineers work in a bit. You'll be shocked to find that we compete for jobs even with Food Scientists from Cocacola,Guinness, Unilever and the rest.

In OAU, we will do our IT in two different companies because one company doesn't help much cover what the course entails.

My friend who graduated last year did her IT in both OANDO and a Food processing company.

Lemme win this argument before it begins.

According to "a critical analysis of the human output of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Chemical Engineering Department", a research carried out by Adetunji, A.O. (2013) - a final year student of the Chemical Engineering Department, it was reported that the Department has produced up till date a total of 1,514 alumni with 1,280 males and 234 females. The employment spread is as follows: about 44% of the alumni work in the Engineering field with about 65% of them working in the oil and gas sector about 15% are in the academic, about 11% are in the banking sector, about 15% are in other industries (which include Food, Telecommunications, Cement industries etc.), about 2% are in government while about 13% fall into other categories which include entrepreneurs, consultants and managers.

OSOGBO-The management of OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY extends the resumption of the new session 2014/2015 session to June 1st 2015 for fresh students and June 15 2015 for returning students. It was made known by the registrar of the school Dr Awoyemi through a press release in the early hours on Monday may 11 2015. The change was made necessary after the kidnap of one of her staff in the faculty of environmental design management EDM. it was gathered that this is the third time the management will come up with a new resumption date. Ifeoma a fresh student of english and education shows express her frustration in an interview with punch says she so much disappointed with the school after staying at home for a year. blessing who is a fresh student of sociology and anthropology cried at the hearing of the new resumption date.

Leitner:
Leitner Pro-tips:::

1 wk to resumption. As we are resuming, here are random tips I thought I should share-

1) Registration is always stressful. Exceptions are faculties with low number of students {dentistry, clinical sciences,Pharmacy,Law,Basic medical}; the remaining faculties have high number of students.
If you are in one of the faculties with many student, the trick is- just be a little bit patient. Don't rush to do your reg immediately you resume as people are always much;therefore making the process stressful. During my time, after stressfully waiting 7:00 - 4:00 for like 4 days without any success with my reg,in anger,I decided not to go again. I eventually completed my reg later when lecture has started,in less than 15 mins of waiting.

2) Academics- one thing you should make sure of in your academic life is that- your notes should always be complete. Make sure your notes are complete, and if you are the lazy type like me,you can always photocopy{Find and make friends with someone who attends class regularly}. Reading only textbooks will never make you ace exams. For part 1 students, most of your exams and tests will be set from your notes. And most lecturers only mark answers correct when you put them word for word as it is in the note. Textbooks are good for supplementary, but your notes are the MAIN THING!.

Another one{this is for those live in hostels apart from Moz and Angola}- The main advantage of being a Fresher in Ang and Moz is that you easily get the latest information, also on time and it is vice versa for those that don't stay in Ang and Moz.
That's why I will advice you guyz to always keep contacts with your course mates; it's very necessary. Make sure you have the class rep's number. There is also always a departmental group on whatsapp, make sure you join that too or you might just miss the practical that has been re-fixed to an earlier date. The whatsapp group might be annoying @ first due to barrage of notifications you will be receiving and the nonsense chats going on there. But believe me,it will definitely come in handy Later.

Lastly on academics- it's a cliche but here it is:: make sure you start reading as early as possible. Time flies so fast that before you know it,notes are already becoming bulky, test has already started and small time again, you are already preparing for exams. So,unless you are einstein or like crash-reading,which is a gamble,I will implore you to start reading couple weeks into resumption and before your notes start getting bulky and voluminous.

3) A bonus! cheesy - Ok here it is- don't be scared of anyone in OAU!. Fighting is not allowed; so don't be afraid to air your views. If anybody tells you CR7 is better than Messi, don't hesitate to tell him he is suffering from acute Orubebeism cheesy .

But be careful, you just might meet the guy you abused on campus,in a lonely street in Ibadan grin .

HAPPY SUNDAY to Y'ALL!!!!!! . I know say 9blast no go attend church today grin .
thank you for d info....
