the reason Diri was made governor in Bayelsa is because he was still in PDP when the courts awarded the victory to PDP - if that dude had decamped to APC - he will not be not be sworn in- because it was PDP THAT WAS CHEATED IN THE ELECTION BY APC - that is how the law looks at it

when ballots are counted stand announced by INEC have you realized that they do not mention the names of the contestants? They only say the PDP CANDIDATE GOT ABC VOTES AND THE APC CANDIDATE GOT XYZ VOTES- it is only when they collate all the results they now mention the name of the candidate who won

Lastly - why do they give the state party flag to the man who wins the primaries at the convention?

It is a reminder that you do not own this ticket- it is the party that owns it

not being a member of the party at the time of the judgment is meaningless...the main thing is who is flying the party ticket at the time the election was conducted.

Oshomole is even to destroy APC in Edo State just because of his hatred for Obaseki- he fails to realize that if the court upholds the certificate thing, Obaseki is removed, IZE IYAMU - although the flag bearer in 2016 will not get the position automatically. The PDP will instead swear in his running mate if that person is still in the PDP because as of the time the judgement is delivered- Ize Iyamu is no longer a PDP member

If that was the case,The supreme court would have asked APC to nominate another person after David Lyon was disqualified.

NYSC give a certificate bearing 'Ewhrujakpa' He called NYSC attention to the error and asked that it should be properly changed to to 'Ewhrujakpo' which was his proper name and NYSC obliged. Case closed.

APC is clutching straws and window-shopping for 'propaganda errors' to nail him. But with NYSC admittance of error, the case is now as dead as dodo.

The LM party guy should have taken the money he was offered to settle the matter out of court but unfortunately, he will be left high and dry with nothing tangible.
