You need to understand the history of blacks in America right from the period of slave trade.

That's not the correct way to answer that question. We're talking about a single indigenous people here, not a whole race comprising of different ethnicities. How do you expect America to defend all black ethnicities in the world? That's a silly question that you shouldn't have even dignified with an answer, let alone the wrong answer.
