Dear OP, there is no correct way of breaking up a relationship. It is commendable that you are worried about her feelings but that should not stop you from doing what you have made up your mind to do. Start by avoiding her, stop calling and chatting her. Stay away from anywhere that she will see you. If she is not sharp enough to read between the lines; send her a text that you need some time away from her to review your life. it is okay that you don't love her enough to marry her and grow old with her. Bro, do you guys know your genotypes yet? If no, pray she turns out AS so you can either be AS too or claim to be. This can only be your way out without causing too much damage to her heart.

On the other hand to be truthful, age is no longer an issue in relationships/marriages these days. She might be 5 years older than you and your relationship can still be perfect, so your only reasonable excuse should be that you don't love her and not the age difference.

I am AA and she's AS, both of us know this fact, so nothing to do about genotype.

Breaking up with her will probably not give you rest of mind, cos you're conflicted, confused.

You need to ask yourself deeply ( silencing all other noise in your head) the reason you were attracted to her in the first place.

You need to trace your steps back to when you first noticed her and what you felt for her.

If it was genuine attraction, care, love, then you can rebuild from there. ( again block out all distracting noise in your head)

But if it was pity concerns, curiosity, then you need go to her and narrate all that is going on inside you.

She will be hurt but eventually she will be happy when she realises you weren't what she thought you were to her.

She's just 26. She will be okay eventually.

Don't relocate anywhere and lose your job unless there's another one waiting for you.

It is not as easy as you have written. The last time we had a simple misunderstanding she fainted. She was taken to the hospital, after treating her the doctor said that someone offended her that's why she fainted and it is not as if he asked her and she told him what happened.He was able to figure it out through the tests he conducted on her.It is only me and her that know what the doctor was talking about is true.

First thing you have to do is to resign as a V/leader. Met her at her house and break the news to her. Also tell her you don't love her and you are not going through with the marriage. I wanted to delay it but My mum pushed me and I cant say no since I said it was GOD who spoke to me to go the first time. Am thinking of quitting my job, run away to a place where nobody knows not even my parents and come back after she is married.

The problem here is that am only two years older than her which so many people complained that the age gap is too small that she will get older than me very soon, infact some thought that she is older than me.Our height are thesame and we are not short.

The man who married her friend who is two years younger than her is five years older than me.The boy friends of all her mates and friends are much older than I am.

We live in thesame street with her just three houses between my house and hers and her mother advised that we should never let anything come between us as it may affect the both families due to the closeness.

So many were happy for her for finding me as I am the right man according to them since I have never been laid and I am 28.

I don't just know what happened I felt unattracted to her and lost interest in her and this has been happening for 8 months now but I hid it because seeing what happened in her past relationship I became afraid.

I cried and cried, prayed to GOD to make her loose interest in me but to no avail.The dowry will be paid this month, I don't like it but my hands are tied.

During the engagement my pastor and church elders were present and they endorsed it.
