The power you mentioned isnt solely for the presidency but also for the state governors,ministers,house of representatives,local government chairmen and women,counselors,ward representatives etc .

The grave mistakes nigerians have made and are still making is waiting on the president to do everything for them.

Stealing = taking something that doesn't belong to you

Corruption: paying to get what you don't deserve e.g giving money to a govt office holder and in return get a juicy contract.

All the rotten eggs are moving into the rotten party.

ASUU asked for the implementation of a document the FG signed. No new demands just that the FG implements their agreement.

How won't the institutions strike when the see how the FG wastes money. How many aircrafts are in the presidential fleet? And yet we find the need to get another.

The president is paid his salary and yet for some reason we do not know he had to include 1billion for his feeding in the budget. What the hell is that?

If the presidency comes out today and says "we are selling some of the planes in the presidential fleet because we have no money", what will the doctors and court workers do? They will get back to work

He doesn't need to lie to sensibilize the doctors and court workers. The money is there but badly implemented. Remember,being a president doesn't make one omnipotent . We have to learn to follow the budget from federal level down to the local government,that is what accountability is about. You can also trace the salary problems to the aforementioned protocols which every citizen is responsible for.

Look at the fertilizer aspect of agriculture,with e-wallet,every trace of corruption was cut short within 3months. If reelected,softwares and other technological advancement will be applied into the system and corruption will die a natural death.

There are softwares that are in charge of dispensing salaries,our government officials are aware of these things but they intentionally shy away from it because it will eliminate ghost workers and expose embezzlement.

You and I are responsible enough to hold them accountable,let us join hands and enlighten the people around us instead of using them as political tools of mass destruction. Our fathers made mistakes,today we are paying for them, do we blindly repeat the same mistakes and let our children and grand children pay for them ?

Fela Anikulapo Kuti must have been a prophet in his own right. He obviously saw what even the most intellectual Nigerians did not see. Fela must have felt the impulse and aura of deceit, sycophancy, devisiveness, extremisim, bigotry, double-sidedness and tribalisim which are now manifesting glaringly in the life of Buhari and that must have infomed the composition of that song. How could someone who put southerners in jail but confined his tribesmen to comfortable "house arrest" be seen and celeberated as a genuine enforcer of discipline? How could someone who killed Nigerians when the offences they committed attracted mere prison sentences be said to be a disciplinarian? Buhari has been taking Nigerians for a ride from time immemorial and it must not continue beyond Feb 14, 2015. The same token goes with former NADECO members many of whom are now in APC. We were equally given the wrong impression that they were harbingers of democracy but their actions, utternaces and misdemeanors in government have now proved otherwise. Nigerians should open thier eyes.

At least,ASUU made other institutions jealous by attracting the sympathy of the FG with a long strike and then billions of Naira was channeled into the educational sector.

All institutions will keep going on strike until billions are channeled into their accounts but the problem is that the people controlling these institutions will embezzle these funds and still blame the Fg. Why ? Because the citizens prefer to blame the presidency for everything including fighting for their individual rights before these institutions .

Well,from the look of things,the media hype APC candidates are enjoying doesn't equal to election success so let's wait and see. President Gej's achievements will work for him while Buhari and his cohorts will depend on accusations and sentiments

Nope, that we failed to realise what he saw, that we need to look beyond immediate gain and focus our thinking and energy into doing what it takes to develop, be disciplined and just in our dealings.

Singapore is a nation that has jumped from where we were after independence and still are at the moment to a developed nation in 35 years. They did it by legislating and enforcing some of the world's strictest laws.

Nigerians are likely to vote Buhari into power next month not because he is perfect but we have seen where cluelessness and indiscipline leads a nation and it is not pretty.

Exactly,they will vote someone who doesn't give a cow poo about them while Gej whom have been engrossed in creating long term goals would be left out ? I know Gej will win because history won't have to repeat itself before nigerians learn.

The Nigeria/US relationship has been smooth especially after all sanctions levied on us during Abacha / IBB regime has been removed but then since we started dealing directly with china (by the Gej administration) the US hasn't been comfortable with GEJ. They seem to always find fault in everything he does and this is one of the reasons they refused to sell us arms even though they sent their military trainers and instructors to aide and train our army but it still went sour as GEJ refused to be a toy in their hands.

Then they resulted to media ranting,they even went as far as sending a professional campaign team to realize Buhari and APC campaign,anything to remove Gej the hanging bone in their neck will do.
