Thanks to Buhari and his fellow political long throats . Tinubu, you see your life ?
Allow young people to benefit from 21st century politics instead of bring old school dictators back to power. How will Nigeria move forward when backward thinking people like Buhari wants to be president by all cost?
Buhari said he will create one million jobs for Igbo youths, that statement alone shows that he will divide Nigeria along ethnic lines because he already sketched out a shady plan on where to place each tribes .
If the Igbo youths are working in millions, what will the almajiri Youths be doing ? Yoruba youths ? Tiv youths? Etc....
Gej,the only solution Nigeria has at the moment, even the west knows that with Gej,they won't have their way as usual.
Do you think they are happy with us after we got rid of Ebola ? Even when they declined to share their experimental drugs with us?
Think Nigerians, Think...... |

Hmmmm.... Ethnic bigot, aren't will all one ? Will you create 1million jobs for igbos,1million jobs for yorubas and 1millions for Hausas . What about other ethnic groups ? So you want to separate us according to our tribes?
Nigeria doesn't need this old locomotive brain called Buhari .
Shine your eyes my people. |

great664: May God bless you and your generation and Bless FRN. I wish many can see the reason and understand the tools FG is using to fight corruption then they will give GEJ a thumps up. GEJ don't want to accuse anyone but corruption will gradually die nd be a thing of the past without making enemies too.
The Politicians and APC knows that their era of having ghost workers or milking Nigerians will soon be over if given GEJ a chance, hence the fight. Thank you my brother ,God Bless you and your generation too + the Federal Republic of Nigeria . |

barcanista: The number one point, though least likely among the three, yet cannot be ruled out. Investigations should never be restricted if we are to expect result. As for who stand to gain more, I don't think any of them does. While APC supporters will seek to make people see it as an attempt to silent anything that will vindicate them, the PDP supporters will want people to see it as an attempt to blackmail the President and the party. At the end, both have to explain to the public. It benefit no one.
I am very careful when taking position on issues like this, because of God and my conscience. Oga ade, it's more beneficiary to APC to attract sympathetic votes for the upcoming election. One can easily liken it to the ragging bokoharam menace |

omonnakoda: You are right that they are mean to fight for development of the country .I f something belongs to everyone as you put it I don't think it is selfish to demand your share. When people vote ALL OVER THE WORLD they are motivated by what is in in for them so there is nothing new there Let me give you a fact over the last 4 years Nigeria has made more money than at any other time in her history . Let me repeat that over the last 4 years Nigeria has made more money than at any other time in her
So what is the SW share of this prosperity having regard that the Federal government has over 50% of the budget
You can have the Final word I really do not have much more to say to you.! Your share is the allocation given to each state and as for federal projects, they are being done from region to region. Even Gej in his confessional statements admitted haven faced the northern part because they are lagging behind and the next 4 years will be dedicated to the south which includes SW,ss,se and middle belt . I don't care about having the last words but I care about creating awareness to better our nation . The nations prosperity is at the interest of each and everyone of us. |

Mynd44: Now you have started politics based on tribal sentiments. This thread is about the South West. Not Yorubas. If was about Yorubas, I wont be here.
The south West is inclusive of million of non-yorubas living there too The same millions of non yorubas travel around the nation from time to time witnessing Gej's transformation and these developments have made them ready their votes for PDP come February 14 . I really don't do politics based on sentiments but it has become a common fact that tinubu decided to divide politics along ethnic lines hereby making it unavoidable if one has to hit the nail on it's head. |

Mynd44: And you think the South West voting against Goodluck is based on ethnic sentiments?
Hilarious. They same people who marched for him to be sworn in I think it's based on their leaders sentiments. One thing I like about the yorubas is the positive unity that exists in between them as a people. But when taken advantage of, it becomes weakness . Tinubu will lead the yorubas into a land of no return,he formed the alliance for democracy and he also accepted the merging of cpc and ad but now,he is using the unity of yorubas for his selfish interest. The kings of yoruba kingdom know him very well,he is a self centered politician. |

omonnakoda: The SW voted for Jonathan in 2011. He won every state except Osun The SW were the main people fighting for him to be sworn in when Yar'adua died. Were they not jealous at that time. What did they get in reward? Emotional people always shun analysis for sentiments Sorry to interrupt you but the yorubas are meant to fight for a common goal as a country instead of waiting to be rewarded as a people or a region. From my own point of view,it's selfish to demand for something that belongs to everyone else. Development is meant for us as a country and not to a region or ethnic group . I stand to be corrected |

Mynd44: His last 4 has been a failure. People are not optimistic about the next 4 hence them wanting him gone. Nigeria has been a failed state before Gej came into power, so why the hurry for him to repair everything overnight ? Fashola even said it as a state governor that he used to count his grey hairs before he assumed power and after 8years,he is counting his black hairs. We have just 2 options : moving forward as a nation or moving backwards as divided ethnic biased bigots . |

You guys created this thread because you see the discontentment, what the government ought to do is address it not keep the status quo Nigeria as a country can't afford to try a dictator and his cohorts, imagine if we try 160million x 4years ? Mynd44: Then change policy.
I downloaded a couple of Osibanjo's speeches and interviews and on agricultural policy he said what they will do is simple.
Farmers plant and call the government that they have a farmland filled with goods and the government will buy the produce. Do you how revolutionary that is? Consider the infrastructure that will go into storage facilities, employment, wealth distribution, food security and price stability that causes?
The government is clueless. Simple Those are imaginary policies as they campaign, implementing it is very difficult and people will suffer more than job because he didn't think of an alternative for those whom will be affected by the policy. He is a very intelligent man that lacks wisdom . To be able to implement a new system, one has to provide an alternative for those whom will be affected by the new system. Gmb/osibanjo are disasters waiting to happen. |

Mynd44: The people living in the south west fo not have confidence in the president. It is quiet simple.
The same bloody was a lot of people in Alimosho don't have much confidence in the APC.
Same logic. They believe the Goodluck administration has failed them so they want him out They concluded in a hurry because some people whom are aware that Rome wasn't and can't be built in a day decided to capitalize on their ignorance instead of uniting with the fg and explaining to them in details or the lay mans language. |
Politics › Re: Fashola Accuses FG Of Diverting SURE-P Money by mrborntodoit: 10:45am On Jan 25, 2015 |
Mynd44: You guys claim there is an agricultural revolution right? Why is the prices of foodstuff going up and not down? What sort of economics do you follow?
You claim Nigeria is divided in ethno-religious terms but who started it? What was the biggest problem under Yar Adua? Rule of law
How did it jump to Ethno-religious politics?
You people forget that the people who marched for GEJ to be sworn in as president after his principal died are those who are against him. How did that happen? You think they are being tribal or something else is wrong? The same problems going from federal down to your local government is responsible for the hike in foodstuff. Take for example Lagos as a case study: The merchants go into the bush, buy from farmers and load into a hired truck. From the bush down to the Lagos toll gate, the truck pays different forms of Bribe and the moment he arrives at the toll gate area of Lagos, hoodlums clad in white and green uniforms attack it,extorting more money, arriving at the market place, the truck pays more from illegal owo ile to bribing lastma etc, owo offloading etc. At the end, these boils down to the poor consumers . So what has the federal government got to to? Mind you,all these illegal funds are channeled to local governments ,which in turn ends up in tinubus pocket . |

Mynd44: Hey, we ain't talking about the governors here yet. Open a thread for that. I just gave you pointers. What has GEJ done in those areas to deserve the votes?
Lagos-Ibadan expressway is a joke Lagos-Abeokuta is mad Apapa-Oshodi is not worth passing Old ife road. Ilesha road Ogbomosho road
I can go on
Electricity has never crossed 4,000MW
When OBJ left office, we were generating 3,545MW. All the Goodluck administration can do is blame criminals? Are you kidding?
He focused on the North right? He can go there to ask for votes Na. How can you neglect people and come back to ask them to vote for you again?
Why do you think Alimosho Local government is angry at APC? Federal roads are everywhere in the country and not only in southwest. Each and every part of the country got something's done,if you want more vote him in and you will see more. Alimosho local govt and APC is a wrong case study for Gej and southwest . |

Mynd44: Not really....
Politics is performance based. What has GEJ done in the south west that they should come out to vote for him? Do you people even listen to yourselves?
What are his policies?
Look at the infrastructure.... Mention 3 Federal roads in the South west that is in good shape and I will name 10 that are horrible...
Electricity
Fuel price....
Trade...
Employment...
Security...
Religious intolerance...
Toutish allies
All these and threads like this where the people are insulted is what leads to the people turning their backs.
A friend and I took a tour of Abeokuta to Otta and Sango... The number of GEJ posters is amazing. It is almost as though he does not exist. Same thing in Ibadan.
Can you show reasons why they should vote GEJ? You people voted APC in thesouth west, hold the office holders responsible for your woes, besides ,Gej single handedly faced the north, the next four years is for the south. If he faced the south first, the same people will be quick to call him bigot, as he faced the north first, same people call him clueless A beg make una reason now |
Politics › Re: Fashola Accuses FG Of Diverting SURE-P Money by mrborntodoit: 10:23am On Jan 25, 2015 |
Mynd44: This is not about GMB.
I keep telling you folks that this elections is not about Buhari. A lot of people who will vote for Buhari don't even like him.
This election is a referendum of how good/bad GEJ has performed. A lot of people are going to vote against him because they feel he has disappointed them not because they believe in the opposition. I have a friend who although he dislikes Atiku he said he will rather have Atiku than GEJ. I advice them to vote for whomever they choose, for me, Gej has done a good job but he could have done more. Even though the power lines were sabotaged but we got more hours of electricity, even though the army was sabotaged but the insurgency didn't succeed in taking the whole north hostage, even though they keep condemning his good works,he revived the railways and also improved drastically the agricultural sector, even though people only want immediate improvement, the Nigerian economy is thriving, even though they claim he is corrupt, his transparency is obvious. Nigeria of today has been tribally ,ethnically and religiously sentimental so Tell me, is it until he puts food on our table before we see the transformation? |

Politics › Re: An Unconfirmed Report: Buhari's Principal Killed Few Hours Ago by mrborntodoit: 9:55am On Jan 25, 2015 |
barcanista: How true is this "news"? If true, there are three possibilities...
1. He was killed by the President's footsoldiers so as to "teach him a lesson" or 2. He was killed by an anti-Jonathan element to blackmail the President. Or 3. He was killed by a rival who had personal beef with him, but took advantage of the political situation to avoid suspiction.
POSSIBILITY The first is somehow unlikely as there are other ways a government "deal" with perceived enemies other than killing especially when the situation is of this magnetude. If this is the case, the perpetrator may be one of the President's foot-soldiers but without the endorsement of the President or his team.
The second is very likely to happen, especially with the kind of politics of blackmail and desperation we play here. However, the anti-Jonathan element that may have carried done it could be a member of the PDP, APC or any other party. If the perpetrator is an APC member, It is likely that he did it without the backing of the Buhari Camp, because the principal was helpful to Buhari's cause in putting record straight.
The third is also very likely to happen.
The onus lies on the Police....
*i hope the news is false though* You are coming back to your senses little by little but your NO 1 theory,I disagree with because it's too obvious and no opponent in his right senses will kill a man that released a common statement of result . However, you refused to consider the fact that the APC stands to gain more from this scandalous blackmail hereby exposing your person as biased . |
