Just seeing on X that she has been relieved of her job.
This is a reminder that we all need to be very careful about what we post on social media.
She lost her job due to a pattern of consistent attacks against the Yoruba: over 20 tweets, and many of them deeply offensive.
Tribalism and religion have eaten so deeply into our society.
It’s disheartening that we, the supposedly enlightened generation, have allowed ourselves to sink into this level.

if indeed she has been relieved of her job then her employers must be boycotted. You cannot hold a private citizen to a higher standard compared to government officials.

if the president and the president's wife can say similar things about other tribes, then an ordinary civilian shouldn't be held to a higher standard.

We have bigots that have been rewarded with ambassadorial positions and earth did not stop spinning. We have thugs like MC Oluomo that have threatened genocide against other ethnic groups living in certain parts of Nigeria and the sky did not turn green.

Iran has cut off direct communications with the US as women and children formed human shields around energy sites after Donald Trump warned that a 'whole civilization will die tonight'.

Negotiations are continuing through mediators but the severed contact has complicated efforts to meet Trump's 8pm ET deadline, the Wall Street Journal reported.

An official said that Iran intended to convey a message of defiance and disapproval by severing communications.

Iranian state TV is now broadcasting images of civilians protesting at bridges and power plants, in a direct taunt after Trump threatened to strike infrastructure. Video showed women and children waving flags as chanting blared on a loudspeaker.

Trump said on Truth Social: 'A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will.'

He threatened Monday to target Iran's infrastructure, despite warnings that striking civilian energy and water supplies would constitute a war crime as it is a clear breach of the Geneva Convention.

Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and Vice President JD Vance have been deeply involved in peace talks with Iran, with Pakistan playing a central role in mediating the negotiations.

Iran is officially led by Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, appointed Supreme Leader after his father Ali Khamenei was killed in US-Israel strikes on February 28 - but he is unconscious and 'unable to be involved in any decision-making,' a fresh intelligence memo states, raising urgent questions over who is actually running Tehran.

But it's never been this bad, even under Buhari. You cannot run every arm of government with propaganda.

You can use propaganda for things like the economy or educational sector but using propaganda with national security especially when you are under constant attack from Terrorists is never a good idea. You either arm your soldiers to the teeth and send them out to crush the treat of Islamic terrorists or you turn to the international community and cry for help.

You cannot defeat terrorists with propaganda.
You are asking for big trouble if you think you can do that
