chances are, your c240 car might likely not be having a serious issues as to compressor changing, and all that, but need a system servicing which will cost you around 15 to 18k to get it back running up to the required threshold.

I run a hvac system fix shop in Abuja and for the other saying you don't have a good mechanics in abuja in regards to Mercedes and other car brand that can't be true,
for mechanic there might be but for ac I can't speak for other but my self, there is an one thing you have to bear in mind is the fact that you have not discovered a proficient mechanic in abuja don't mean they don't have.

I am interested in this topic cos I am currently working on c240 in abuja, which from my diagnosis has narrowed down to compressor failure and system blokage withing the discharge line, which I found out during my diagnostics. which technically speaking has said exactly why that compressor failure occur in C240 and some other automotive HVAC systems.

Improper diagnostic of auto HVAC general system and overhauling before installing another compressor will be like throwing another goat into the mouth of a hungry lion.

there are factors that determines if the france make compressor can work with the German auto star benz compressor sitting on the engine, the capacity of the compressor and electrical construction features like the coil be it inbuilt or the other way round.

n you need to be specific about the france car compressor cos there are lots of them.
