There are many Nigerian holders of PHD(Economics) from Ivy league institutions. Loads of them. It's bizarre to appoint a BSC from ABU when you have far more qualified people.

Obviously, having talent isn't enough in itself, look at Soludo, but it's a necessity for such a role.

Dont get me wrong 4play. . .I am not defending Sanusi's academic qualifications or saying we cant get any better or saying he is the best man for the job in the world. . .
We all know how leadership/top positions especially in Government, gets sorted out at the end of the day. . .
Of course if we were Britain, China, US or Canada, we will be singing a different tune!
Personally i believe he is capable based on his experience mainly. . . .So i am relaxed and not worried!

Since you are in the US, can you do us a favour, please look around for a top candidate, someone with a finance, banking and economics degree from prestigious Schools like Harvard, Columbia, Wharton, Rice etc. . .
I dont have the time to look around in the UK but i will talk to my buddy to sniff around Judge, Said, Cass (my alma mater), Ashridge, Cranfield and co. . .

Throwing sentiments aside, i believe Sanusi is capable and i defo agree with majority of what he has done and what he plans to do. . .
