PoliticsRe: Agbakogba Wants Clarifications On China-nigeria Bilateral Agreement by mrdba: 8:40am On Apr 23, 2016
freeze001:
This is what I expected from the Presidency upon return from this overly hyped and sensitive trip to China.

Rather than all the speculations of currency swap today and denial tomorrow and so on, they ought to have convened a press conference and properly briefed Nigerians on the particulars and import of this trip as well as others where agreements were signed like Qatar and UAE. We need to know whether all is well or we've been sold off due to ignorance.

It's not wise to go to sleep trusting in 'Baba' as some do. He is not God and highly ignorant too! He's just a mere mortal, an aged one at that and fallible as well.
Spot on... a press briefing will simply put an end to every doubts and speculations regarding the trips... God Bless Nigeria...
Christianity EtcRe: 'any Christian Indulging In These Listed Sins Is Already On His/her Way To Hell' by mrdba: 2:20pm On Apr 21, 2016

I keep asking myself these 2 important questions whenever I read something or someone claiming some people can't make heaven:

1: Are you God's personal secretary? I remember reading something about his ways are mysterious and known only to him! Unless you've died and witness judgment yourself, I doubt you really know what you are talking about!

2: Thou shall not judge? Whatever happened to this saying? The person putting on lipstick or keeping an afro might be purer than the brother or sister who shows up for church 5 days out of the week!
SPOT ON!!! Especially point 1

FamilyRe: 10 Things You Can Relate With If You Were Raised By Nigerian Parents by mrdba: 11:54am On Apr 21, 2016
DanceVille:
Firstly, growing up with Nigerian parents is mega interesting.Reflecting on the things they often force us to do would leave many laughing hysterically. They make us serve them compulsorily. If you tried to stand against your parents there's a chance that you could win series of slaps doing so.

Chances are you would probably do same for your children too.

1. When You're Sent On Unnecessary Errands

Nigerian mums are known for sending their childrens on annoying errands.Imagine being called by your mum from a distance only for her to ask you to get her something within her reach.

2. When There's A Reason For You Failing At Something

Nigerian parents love to jump into conclusion.Trying to explain a situation to them is almost impossible.Nigerian parents would be like..

"Why wouldn't you hit your head, when you wouldn't face where you're going..."

3. Are You Ok?

Nigerian parents are not checking your mental health here, when they say this, they're trying to call your attention to your stupidity.

4. When You're Being Eyed In Public/Event

Please don't be carried away when you go out with your Nigerian mum.She expects you to check her face for signs.Don't eat when she blinks her eyes funnily, you do so and you're dead.

5. When You're Expected To Cry Without Making Noise

When your parents beat you and threaten you about crying.. You hear words like!

"Hold it! If I hear pim..."

6. When Your Actions Are Being Justified

Parents justify their childrens' actions and form a new reason to lash out at them.

"Why won't You talk back at me when you have started developing Breast?"

7. When Parents Don't Want To Accept Defeat

Sometimes parents feel they have gone overboard with certain issues but still try to cover up their mistakes. They find a way of covering their own fault and make their childrens victim again.

"You're as tall as I am now, why wouldn't you talk to me like that".

8. When They Want To Be Dramatic

Parents know they could move their children to emotion by crying and acting sad. They say things like.

"After everything I've done for you, I carried you in my womb for nine months".Trust me, you would end up in tears yourself.

9. When Your Mum Cheats You By Collecting Money From You

Mother have interesting attributes. They assume the role of a bank when someone gives you money. When you try to have your money back, you would be told.

"All the food you're been eaten in this house was given to me in the market freely abi?".

10. When Your Parents Want To End Up Chastising Session

We all know parents don't get tired of correcting their childrens either by beating or lashing them with words. However, they have a unique way of concluding their speeches.

"We would keep telling you the truth, the rest is totally up to you.If you continue, you're doing yourself.

I drop my pen at this juncture.

Nairalanders, which of these can you relate with?

Feel free to add yours.

All of you are funny sha!!!

You all left the topic of discuss and started pointing fingers at amechie, buhari, PDP.

This man was actually asking a core question, but you are all acting like easily distracted and politically blinded foooools.

The problem is not about amechi, wike or buhari; it is about the millions of dollars received by legislooters every year.

If the huge monthly pay is cut to 1/3rd, this violence will cease without delay.
Thanks bro... I wonder why some funny fellas will always use every opportunity to attack others. I really feel for this country, when we cannot constructively solve a problem rather we make it a political issue... especially the youth who I believe should know better...

SportsRe: Oliseh Resigns As Super Eagles Coach! by mrdba: 8:48am On Feb 26, 2016
Well I don't blame him... I only blame his employers...
1. Just after how long u sent one of the most committed players in the team home...
2. U kept coaching on supersport like studio is the same with stadium...
3. U went online to rant cos u were criticized for FAILING which obviously you did... cos I can't imagine a lack Lustre performance of a team u claimed u were coaching... no one is saying they should win all matches but at least let us see good performance...
4. U claimed to have won more matches in a short time but u failed to realise the oppositions u have...
5. U criticized Keshi who restored Nigeria's glory in Afcon and the worldcup... nd don't forget we were all optimistic to watch the super eagles cos of the kind of performance they had...
6. Mr Oliseh/NFF... m sorry to say u FAILED...
