I sold over 30 within a week I got it before negative feedbacks started coming the following week. It was bad. Expensive phones got scattered, scratches on phones..

I didn't even know how to tell others that those things are pure fake. Last week, I saw the original from US, they said you apply it rightly and anything happens to your phone, they would replace it.

I have soiled friendships as a result of this fake stuff China is sending to Nigeria.

I thank God some of them reasoned that I didn't make it myself.

I advise you stop selling or you sell to strangers which I equally think is bad too.

Crime / How to identify Scammers on Facebook and whatsapp. by Mrdecent(m): 9:47pm On Jul 05, 2019
Scammers are now many on Facebook and whatsapp

Digital transformation has brought along the good, the bad, the beauty and the ugly in most sectors.

The worst hit of the ugly and the bad trend is in Nigeria, most especially in the e-commerce and online transactions.

Many people had lost hard earned money in a bid to transact with people online. You would be surprised the number of scammers that are 247 ready to scam unsuspecting people right now.

In the last few years, I have had so many encounters with a number of them and in all cases I have played along in such a way that I would get at least 2 bank account numbers from them to have their real names, then followed by rain of future prophecies on them.

It’s imperative for me to put up this write up, who knows, i could be saving some peoples’ hard earned money.
No matter what I put up here, we must be patient in all transactions and be sure in what we want to do. Also, inform a trusted person around. If you are not sure, try to be sure before paying for any transaction online.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Most of these scammers are in various WhatsApp group chats and Facebook groups, some are even your friends that you know, but with fake accounts and mobile numbers to dupe you and unsuspecting people.

Some pick their victims randomly too. They come with different gimmicks, some advertise non existing products, some, love scam and some , abroad goods , some want you to drop 10k and get 30k.

These guys are notoriously notorious, they don't fear curses, they believe they are cursed already so your curse is like blessing to them.

So, we need to watch it. No free food in London and no magic that doubles your money. Your money would definitely increase over the time when you are smart and hardworking.

DON’T GET SCAMMED ON WHATSAPP .

No matter what the deal is on WhatsApp, check out for these things before you trust anyone.

1- Fear any acclaimed entrepreneurs and business owners who maximize their private settings on WhatsApp .

Private settings like, No DP or suspicious DPs, No last seen etc.

If you are in business, why do you need to activate your privacy settings on your WhatsApp?
If you are not into business , you are excused but not for business owners that make use of whatsapp to negotiate deals.

2.-Ask for their Facebook name
If anyone should come to you on WhatsApp for business deals, just ask for his or her Facebook account. He would tell you instantly that he doesn’t have a Facebook account if he is a scammer.
Don’t do anything next than to just block the person without wasting time.

Detecting scammers On Facebook
There are some factors that are not applicable to scammers but there are red flag points you must not joke.

Before you transact with a stranger on Facebook ,check;

-Number of friends – if he has less than 500 friends or even 1k self, please check very well for these other factors.

-any Facebook account opened in the recent time(less than a year) is a red flag.

-account with water tight privacy should be double checked . Entrepreneurs are supposed to an open Facebook account with less privacy.

-How many pictures on his/ wall. Less than 50 pictures of himself and with others should be suspicious.

Run away from people with 5 pictures, they are scammers (big red flag)

-What is the level of interactions on his/her page? How many comments on his/her recent posts?
If you don’t see post that has at least 20 interactions please be careful.

-You must make sure you see someone that relates with such person in a very familiar way . Ensure you look at such people profile too to know if they are real. Note their names and other contacts down.

-Be afraid of white men with many or few Nigerian friends.

- don’t let them send you fake Facebook account. Ensure you ask them to interact with you in their inbox.

- ensure the name on the bank account correspond with the Facebook name.

- check their names on truecaller app, I make sure I update all scammers I came in contact with on that app. You can save others too with this trick.

-run from all "custom officers" that are into auctions.

- Scammers don’t like to waste time on their victims, they would always be calling you and be on your neck as if you are with their kidney. Be patient and think before any transaction online.

-don't just accept friend request, do a background check.

-be careful of links in your inbox from strangers.

However ,all these are not guarantee that you are free from scammers , even people that we know very well offline , who are family members scam us, how much more a total Stranger with 5k friends and 10k followers on facebook or any other social media platform for that matter .

We must not be carried away by least imagined offers and we must ensure due diligence based on background checks before we carryout transactions with strangers online.

Thank you.

Science/Technology / Factors That Determine Sponsored Ads by Mrdecent(m): 6:56pm On Jul 04, 2019

When I check some profiles on Facebook, I could easily guess the kind of paid ads that would always appear on their timelines.

When you login into your Facebook account you will notice some posts with “sponsored” tags. If you are not into social media MARKETING (most especially, Facebook ads) you may not understand this, but let me try to explain to you how it works.

Those sponsored ads are sent to targeted audience. You are targeted based on two factors ;

1, user inputted data – that is ,what you told Facebook about yourself, e.g. , your age, location, occupation, where and what you studied etc.

2. You are targeted also based on your other activities on Facebook and other sites. That is, the sites you visit and your reactions to Facebook pages (likes, love, cry and angry), what you post, upload, pages you follow etc. Also, what you do offline; where you visited, travel to etc. the type of phone you use. So many of it…

USERS’ INPUTTED DATA.

Age -You are 25 years old but you told Facebook that you were born in 1953 (66 years old). The implication of this is that, you will only see ads that has to do with old people. Ads like, the sales of branded walking sticks, wheel chairs, hypertension, stroke and diabetics ads, While you will miss out on ads that are targeted at youths which may include educating programs, travel opportunities, seminars, conferences etc. I don’t know why people do this. If you don’t want people to know your age, just put the date and hide the year . why the age that is very close to your ancestors? Why the evil to yourself?

-Location- you are in Ekiti but you told Facebook that you are in Lagos, Abuja , California or Porto Rico. The implication is that you will miss ads targeted at Ekiti people which may include opportunities.

-Occupation - Some students are CEO and bankers on their profiles. “You are doing yourself”. I hope you know what you have caused yourself by this simple nonsense. A teacher in real life but working in an oil company on Facebook. The ads you see can’t be useful for you ooh. You will miss on teachers programs fah!

Besides all these, Facebook can target you based on where you work. For instance, I can target all the staff of COHEST, ABUAD, OAU, for any ads in as much they are there on their profile.

OTHER ACTIVITIES ON FACEBOOK, OTHER SITES AND OFFLINE.

Let’s come to your activities outside Facebook. If you are always angry through digital emotional reactions, you are killing yourself. Facebook would tag that as if you hate similar posts, page, content or such personality. Whatever it is, Facebook records it that way and miss you out on similar ads.

Facebook ads is so funny that, for each picture you upload on Facebook it would be scanned to know if its fake or original . Facebook algorithm is that powerful. It can be used to determine who is rich or poor. Yes, you can target rich or average people with this. Your phone type can be used to target you too and Facebook knows how long you have been using it.

When you signed up to use Facebook, part of the agreement we failed to read was that, your data would be used for ads purposes . Who is ready to read almost 18,000 words.

There are so many opportunities flying around on social media, the first step is to have correct data of yourself on Facebook and other social media platforms . Start with your correct name, age, what you do etc.... Be mindful of your privacy too, you don't need to reveal too much as well. Make use of the "only me button".
