Good one. You hav changed the interior ministry from the the traditional public holiday announcer to a working ministry... Omoluabi, it's people like you that Ondo need as next Governor. |
vanbonattel:Hope you are aware that she is from a wealthy background and according to Peter, she was there for the 3 brothers before the marriage, acting as their financier/supporter behind the scenes, even supported them with her car b4 them blow. And you want Peter to leave such an enduring woman as a result of pressure from the family in the name of tribalism right? Prince Harry defended her own, una call am hero...Peter defended her own, una call am simp... African mentality smh. |
vanbonattel:So it's the woman that made Jude and Paul to team up and started frustrating Peter right? |
They don start again Only if Paul knows the meaning of the word "oloriburuku" ...this is harsh...Why the verbal attacks?

One half of iconic music duo, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has publicly accused his twin brother and former bandmate, Peter Okoye (aka Mr P), of stealing his song. This accusation follows the group’s third breakup earlier this year, with tensions resurfacing after Mr P released a new track titled “Winning.” Taking to Instagram, Rudeboy alleged that he originally wrote and recorded “Winning” with a specific producer, only for the same producer to re-record it with his brother, Peter. In his post, Rudeboy expressed frustration, saying that his twin had copied his song word for word despite his original version being intended for an album release next year. Rudeboy also revealed he had submitted six songs to Psquare’s management, only to find his work allegedly being used without permission. Expressing his dissatisfaction with the way things were being handled, he vowed to take matters into his own hands if necessary. https://tribuneonlineng.com/psquare-paul-okoye-calls-out-brother-peter-over-alleged-song-theft/amp/ |
billyG:Insect is not the only agent of pollination, breeze/wind can also do. Pepper belongs to the category of plants with bisexual flowering pattern. Meaning it can easily self-pollinate by cool breeze or slightest shake. Occasionally, as one is moving along the farm, one can slightly shake the rope(stakes) to induce pollination manually. |

Mariangeles:Madam, do not be tempted or get carried away by his good online PR. All that glitters... His victims are all over here, I hav come across same feedback from his victims on jiji.
|
CodeTemplarr:If you are expecting all farmers to grow veggies using green house, then u are inviting hunger. |
Mariangeles:Yes, but not that common as in tomato. |
fadilaMaikiriki:1gram of Tom seed, on the average and depending on the variety, contains roughly 300seeds. If you are doing just 3 plots, I wl advise you go for the smaller package ...5g sachet (avg 1500 seed). Buy 3 or 4 packs factoring at least 85% germination rate and how good you are at raising nursery. |
In my own opinion, technically, people of Edo did not vote in APC or Monday Okpebholo rather, they technically voted against Godwin Obaseki the incumbent Governor. These are my views/reasons.. 1. Obaseki alleged interference with the highly revered Benin "Obaship" structure. Benin no be kano where they unbundled Emirate. 2. Victimisation of his former deputy, Philip Shuaibu, despite the court ruling reinstating him yet, he refused to honour the court judgement. No matter the offense of Shuaibu, he should have forgiven him considering the first impression/loyalty that people say it lasts longer... Shuaibu stood by him and even defected to PDP with him when his political ship was sinking. Most people never believed Shuaibu could take side against his mentor -Oshiomole. 3. Adams Oshiomole's influence. Like him or hate him? Adams still remains a heavy weight in Edo politics. A former governor and an Incumbent senator that controls one-third of Edo political region/space Feel free to add yours. vowiski:

Mariangeles:You are very much on point. Consider/ compare and contrast these market Prices... 100g of Roma(popular OPV) = btw 10 to 15k. 50g of Cobra(my best choice hybrid)= above 100k, meaning if u want to buy 2 (equivalent of Roma) u will spend over N200k. The question is how many farmers, esp the newbies, in the South can afford 100k for hybrid tomato seed in this era? |
skylarr:Buying seed from market is like gambling... the chance is very slim. You don't know if the seed is heirloom, OPV, F2, or F4. Bacteria wilt is soil borne disease, it's very common in the South...areas that are proned to high rainfall. Those in the North hav little or no worries about bacteria wilt...the more reason they grow anyhow cheap OPV like Roma, Rio grande, UC and they hav bumper harvest, but if you try it in commercial scale in the South, you will get your fingers burnt. Most wilts in Tomato has no cure.Your best bet (if you are in the South) is to buy hybrids (F1) that have resistance against those wilts. If you need more help, feel free to ask questions. |
skylarr:This looks more like bacteria wilt. Let's start with the solution by telling us the variety you planted. |
betabread:Bro, don't wait for rain before t getting rid of that stubborn pest off your plant. Waiting for rain-cleansing may be too late. Armyworms attack the heart of maize plant, same spot that will birth the tassels and the cobs. Whatever affects that spots for too long a time wl have adverse effect on both the quality and quantity of cobs produced. Like over fifteen years ago, nothing like armyworms in Nig, farmers can also plant veggies successfully without applying treatments...i remember I planted OPV cucumber without fungicides and staking, only insecticide, yet i had bumper harvest. But nowadays, so many strains of air and soil-borne diseases out there. The era of planting crops without applying treatments on the plants(especially those that are proned to disease infestation like cucumber, okra, tomatoes and peppper) is gone... except maybe for stuff like cassava, yam and the rest that don't need much treatments. I had observed ways with which many farmers here find it hard to control that stubborn fall armyworm. Armyworms don't need those expensive multipurpose insecticides to get rid off. It secrets some sticky stuff that easily neutralize the effects of most insecticides. However, the a.i in Caterpillar force has been proven to specifically combat larvae, caterpillar and every other worm-like pest effectively but it has little or no effect on those pests that fly or crawl with legs like ants. That's is the more reason why it's advisable to mix it with a general purpose insecticide like lamda, cyper etc during application. That's what I normally use, just focus your nozzle at the mouth of the maize stem for 1 or 2 seconds b4 moving to the next stand...i spray once and in some critical conditions twice , and I don't have any nightmares regarding armyworms infestation. Shalom. |
InfinixMine:Sorry I may not be of help as I don't do farmland biz. My contact through whom I got those lands in that axis I mentioned is late now. You can state your preferred location maybe those who know/have one can be of help. |
Veekifertilizer:In every website I hav come across this your username...NL and jiji, it's always a negative feedback from your customers. It's always a case of paying for orders and you failing to supply. Yet, you will never take time to address their grievances instead, you will abandon the thread after accusing you of scamming and open new thread every month to continue your advertisement...this has always been your style. Member of public, beware! |
RainMoreDFARMS:Those axis in Ogun are very notorious for poor rainfall. I remember when we still had farms in oke-odan, ihunbo, ipokia. While surrounding areas like Sango/Otta would be receiving early rain in March/April, those axis would not experience any until maybe in May . |
ActiveFarms:You can also add dress force from jubaili to the list. |
jidestroud:Nawa o. Those touts shew us sege back then... fencing foundation, u go pay, main building foundation u go pay, roofing/decking u go pay, u wan dig borehole u go pay. it can get complicated if those touts have factions...diff factions will be showing up differently to collect entitlement. So no enforcement yet, i knew when the Lagos HOA was passing the bill into law so i thought Ogun being a lagos satellite state will follow suit. abeg thread carefully with them, they used to be armed with both dangerous and fetish weapon in those days. |
jidestroud:I thought Lagos/Ogun has proscribed anything called omo onile in the state? |
FarmTech:Wormforce or caterpillar force? Wormforce is normally used for treating soil against nematodes. |
rubi96:This is a mini garden, you don't need to pump in chemicals. what you need is organic pesticides, you can lay your hand on Neem or you can prepare your own homemade pesticide from leaves like basil, bitterleaf, etc. Check out this educative thread by organicfoods on how to go about it. https://www.nairaland.com/5486295/effective-organic-pesticides-fungicides-against |
Thanks to the mod who responded by cleaning up the trash here. Next is to ban anyone who abuse/bully anyone here. This is the NL that we all want. 👏 Bravo. |
Zwooks:Lol, na today? if I do, your best is to resort to your potent weapon - abuse and foul languages. You don't want me to quote/mention you even when you keep misleading the noble member of this forum, na lie. ![]() With the way you keep dishing out blunders that can ruin people's investments here, one should ask if you are truly a farmer. You don't know and u no wan learn, by fire by force u go learn .Your gutter and toxic utterance, low IQ and reasoning faculty show you are not refined and matured. You must definitely be a kid with untrained background. We run a Pry schl here, any staff who calls any of my pupils names is fired. Right from the assembly, we inculcate morals into the kids. I think you need such a school as a kid to start with, don't worry about your tuition, bill on me . |
Zwooks:Before you go insult me again, I am not quoting you to taunt or ridicule you but for all of us to learn, because this is the 2nd thread where you are making this statement. To set the record straight, 2,4-D and Striker does not contain atrazine. However, some farmers can mix atrazine with other herbicide such as striker during application to make it more effective. Shalom. |
Kehfie:Madam kehfie, e shoke u? BTW, I admire the enterprising works that you and your fellow genders- madam maureensylvia, madam rainmoreDfarms ( not rainingMore at the moment o) madam Maryam madam asiri and every other enterprising female, are doing on this forum. God bless the work on una hands 🙏. |
IamAsiri:At the bolded, thank you my sister for the observation, one of my blood too called him to his blunders in another thread yet, he remained adamant and vile towards him. You are a good student of *logic and reasoning.* Simple reasoning will point to the fact his "perfect " simply means "yes, the right thing was done ", which may be misleading to other newbies. That was exactly what I was trying to correct so that other new/inexperienced farmers who might come online to seek similar assistance will not see his comment and fall victims. But, instead of admitting his ignorance and move on, he was busy justifying his ignorance by saying he did not not want to ruin relationships between the OP and his manager, even at the expense of misleading other readers? I don't know how an "adult" can spew out such publicly. If you don't want to ruin relationships why can't he read and move without commenting? |
epainos:The guy is a complete ignoramus . Let's leave him to his ignorance. I only pity newbies who are reading his disjointed piece up and down. |

na today? if I do, your best is to resort to your potent weapon - abuse and foul languages.
