Smug4real:If you can't afford more than a pack, you can add other varieties like red piquante from EW, Antilais from technisem, even the local breed is not bad. Nurse and transplant each variety separately but guide the super habanero jealously o. |
okoroemeka: okoroemeka:Chief, the OP is using 50kg flour bag as obtainable in the SW while you are using 25kg feed bag as obtainable in the SE. If we are to translate his 10bags per week ( @5bags per every 5days) into your feed bag, that will amount to 15 bags (1.5 feed bag makes 1 flour bag). I also think the OP refers to off peak period cos he used the word 'minimum' (not average). At the peak harvest, it could rise above 25 feed bags. You said you planted super habanero f1, the choice of cultivar can also make the difference. I read a pepper thread by Somto which hit the front page some couple of weeks ago. In the thread, he claimed he planted 2,500 stand of super habanero same like the one you supervised, and he harvested 13 feed bags per week at peak and 4 bags at off peak periods. Meanwhile, you as a pro, you got 25 to 30 bags. Can you see that the OP here still try with his min 15 bags weekly? |
Mrdellychy:I hereby retract my initial statement quoted above. I also declare unequivocally that kennyprince is fraudulent in his dealings. Just like I maintain, he sent me 2 workers which made me to think he's real but I later discovered it was false impression ( to create a damage control effect) .I later also started noticing he speaks from both sides of the mouth. This retraction is necessary so that people who earlier saw the post will not be misled into having a dealing with the fraudster. I was about to connect some farmers in my hood who needed workers to him. One of them even needed 4 boys, but when he was called out here, I told my people to hold on and let's watch. I reached out to him to do the needful concerning the ways his clients are complaining and he rushed down here to make empty promises. I appreciate those who called him out for not allowing me to run into trouble with my neighbors here. Since yesterday, he has changed his number to avoid being "disturbed" by the people he scammed. Few days after one of his victims here suggested tracking him with the workers he sent to me, the boys disappeared overnight from the room i provided for them . I told him he pretended as if he was not aware. He never called till now to show concern. I found out later that he's well aware of their disappearance but was pretending because I took some actions that unravelled this...they have returned to their family. I asked for a refund, he has since stop picking calls/chats and even removed his SIM card. I am still happy my neighbors who are pressing on me to connect them to him have not made payments. They would have believed it was a set up, the stigma would have forever remained even if I pay them back from my purse. |
safarifarms:Lol, the matter choke/shock you? You can see the OP is not helping matters at all. He needed my help, instead of being polite about it and also making it private with me, he's using commanding tone and offensive words at me. When I saw their ordeals here, I felt their pains and I reached out to the kennyprince asking him why he's treating his customers badly like that. That's why he showed up here briefly. I wouldn't have vouched for him if I had seen their negative remarks about him before. Just like our police, when they do well, we praise them and when they do otherwise, we condemn them. I have given him till the end of today to do the needful. Fingers crossed till tomorrow by Gods grace. Tabbaz:I doubt if the guy attaches honor and integrity to his name |
FarmPlanetNG:Says a frustrated and deluded soul. According to your claim, if transacting biz with an alleged criminal makes me a fraud, then u are a bigger fraud cos u too transacted with him. See the mumu animal I was even trying to plead his cause. At this junction only a public apology can save u. U just messed with the wrong person. |
FarmPlanetNG:Same way you also did. So look elsewhere for your tools for tracking. Simple. |
FarmPlanetNG:You guys want to use my tool! Yet, despite the appeal to your partner @Mazumathe1st to unquote me from his useless and unsubstantiated defamatory post, he remains adamant and he's always online reading comments here. I guess he's ignorant of the position of the law WRT libel/defamation of character and it's consequence. |
FarmPlanetNG:Screenshot updated. I got him same way u guys got him here on NL. I am a risk taker, I take calculated risk, that's all. Hope u can draw out your inference from the screenshot that is just by coincidence we are connected by Osun but diff cities, i dont even know that ipetu ijesha cos m not from Osun state, i only reside there . |
FarmPlanetNG:I love the fact that u did a few background check on me. I am going to screenshot now for you to draw your final conclusions
|
mazumathe1st:Accomplice? On top how much?. Bro, God no go shame us. We don build name and integrity on this platform and beyond, the vol of transaction i hav executed on this platform is beyond what I can explain. Check my background posts and relate with my old moniker. I changed my moniker because it sounds feminine and many JJC always addressed me as female. The comment I posted above is my honest encounter with him. I made payment of 40k and he sent me 2 boys without delay. Upon the arrival of the boys, I sent him his commission. I have receipts of payments and chats that I can screenshot and post here if you give me the go ahead. So pls remove/unquote me from that word "accomplice" because internet no dey forget. |
kazy01:I did, he's real. |

concho:If your land do not conform to the above shape, you can give a rough sketch of the land and let's look at it from another dimension. |
concho:I will teach you here but you must send my consultancy fee after selling the land .This is the way to go about it. It's a simple arithmetic that you will apply. You will need to compare and contrast the area (the space under the given piece of a Land) of the standard plot of land in your locality to the area of your own land. You said a standard plot in your locality is 100 by 50 ft. So the standard area= length x breadth=100ftx50ft= 5,000 square feet . But you said your all the sides of your land are not equal thus, your land is not rectangular in shape, so you can not use the above formula to arrive at the total area of your land. I can view your land as a trapezium (an unequal 4 sided shape) check the attached rough sketch. So we are going to use the formula of the area of trapezium to find the area of your land. Here we go... Area= [(a+b) h] ÷2 a and b are the two major sides of your land and... h is the straight distance/gap between them. 1* Use you tape, You will first measure the two major sides(a and b) in feet and add them together. 2* Measure the straight gap (h) between them, then use this h you got to multiply the addition you got in 1* above. Note the result after the multiplication. 3* divide the result by 2. Your final result is the area of your land in feet squared. Let's do the real maths... assuming the measurements below are all in feet. a=130 b=150 h=100 Area of your land= (130 +150) x 100, let's solve this first b4 dividing by 2... 280x100=28,000 , now divide by 2 according to the formula above 28000÷2= 14,000 square feet. 14, 000 is the total area of the plot of your land . Lastly compare and contrast this value to the standard value of a plot in your location. If the standard area of plot in your location is 5,000 Sq ft, and comparing it with your land space of 14,000sq ft, this implies that u can get roughly 3 standard plots of land from your land. N.B Standard size of a plot of land varies from one location to another. In Lagos/Ogun, its usually 120ft by 60ft, meaning that their standard area is 120x60= 7,200 Sq ft

DeLaRue:Your insistence on demotion to junior minister is not making sense... Why should the person who you condemned as a criminal should still be holding a public office? It's either outright dismissal( if guilty) or retention( if innocent). Enough of your sentimental verdict. By the way, do you know anything about business law? If the man did not resign years prior to this mess, same Nigerians will still question/attack him, " why didnt he resign from the company 's leadership?" Why persecuting someone who has resigned from the leadership of the company with a proof that is available at CAC? Has CAC denied that his resignation was not received? Ask yourself this question, if for example, Wale Edun(fin. Minister) was once a director and still a shareholder in Polaris bank, does it mean Polaris is no longer eligible to apply for contract in any govt agencies, such as payment of workers salary? Even if Polaris did not deliver, why not sanction Polaris, why calling out Wale for the failure of Polaris to deliver? Atiku's Intel has similar issues in the past, and Atiku came to tell Nig that he's no longer in charge of Intel, and he was left off the hook... that's the position of the law. |

Eyinju112:You don't need the energy like that of men before you can farm. You can employ labour but you must be available to monitor and direct them. |
Xwizard:Those less than half filled cement bag is too small for pepper cultivation, except u are planting stuffs like cucumber and tomato with shorter life span and shallow root zone, more soil in the sack will give a better result. Also mixing your soil with dry poultry waste will be better than turning your sacks into waste bin. |
Same way i bought a popular paraquat weed killer lo and behold, it was liquid soap that i saw inside. Funny enough it well auto-capped and nylon-sealed. |
Empressgifted:Ok, both are still irrigation methods. The diff is that one is automated and the other is manual. To your question, there is no specific irrigation regimen for crops. There are lots of things or factors you need to consider... * Season. Even in dry season, we still have cold-dry season and hot-dry season. In cold dry, you don't water heavily like in hot-dry period. 2. Ability to read and de-code the body language of your crops. Sometimes, the expression on the faces of your crops will tell you wether to wet daily or skip one or two days. 3. For okra (WRT my variety) , the rate of watering should reduce after 4 weeks due to formation of "canopy" by the leaves/branches of the crop thereby help in minimizing soil evaporation. 4. Finally, it's not a crime to use manual irrigation, it's better than folding arms and doing nothing. If u are planting, ensure to plant your seed inside a shallow pit on your ridge/heaps as in Mr okoro.Emeka style (visit his cucumber thread for details). The pits wl help to conserve/retain water for your crops. In conclusion, I normally tell by customers this...if you don't have insecticides and fungicides in place, don't drop seed on the ground. Our efforts shall not be in vain. |
Empressgifted:Nne, i m not getting you well. You mentioned without irrigation, and you still want to water. Can you explain better pls? |
OluchiDelly:Hello good ppl, a very big compliment of the season. its been a very long time here. I guess our planting season was/is a rewarding one? Yea, prices of inputs have skyrocketed but at the same time, for those who know their onions, the prices of many farm outputs( from cassava, yam, maize, cocoyam, cocoa , tomato okra, to leafy veggies) too are really encouraging. One of the few categories of people who do not feel the impact of the hardship currently ravaging the land is the farmers . A kg of cocoa sold between 3k and 4k this year, imagine a farmer with with just 2tons(2,000kg) of cocoa, you can do the maths. Agric is the new crude oyel. Do agric, it pays. In the same vein, to all our numerous customers all over the nation...most esp our new customers from the south south, thank for the confidence and trust, may all our efforts be rewarded abundantly. We are still accessible through the number on the old moniker. Shalom. |
Amos 1 vs 7 to 8 I will send fire on the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses. 8 I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines are dead,” says the Sovereign Lord. |
Fuckyoumod:Gaza shall be deserted, and Ashkelon shall become a desolation; Ashdod's people shall be driven out at noon, and Ekron shall be uprooted. Zephaniah 2:4 ESV |

youngdroly:mumu, stop comparing the incomparable. did Hitler kill in the name of his god? |
EyeCumInPiece:the mata taya me o. islamic extremists killing people of same faith... to what gain? where is the peace? |
MrPRevailer:False alarmist! Glyphosate is not pesticide, it is not sprayed directly on crops/plants rather it's a weed killer/herbicide sprayed on weeds before planting/broadcasting your crops. I do not condemn organic approach, the fact remains no nation can address food security with 100% organic approach. Those who grow thousands of acres of corn and rice, do you expect them to weed manually? Let's stop being hypocritical. The only route to those health risk you listed is when the chemicals are abused. They are not to be used raw, dilution ratio is always specified. There are normal application dosages prescribed on their label which can pose little or no harm to humans. It is not about chemical alone, excess of everything is bad, even sugar, salts intake and the likes can pose serious health risk on human too. Shalom. |
Esude007:This looks more like burns from urea application. |
Esude007:Caterpillar force handles worm family better. You can add it to your insecticide. That's is the method we normally use to combat armyworm in our maize plantation. |
