Are akara sellers demons that some of you are disparaging them. I have heard some akara sellers using this low level business to send their children to Universities. Most people disparaging akara sellers because of politics should cover their faces with soiled clothes because they have erred. The world is all about the rich, not rich and the downtrodden and these three levels are in all the nations of the world. Should we only cater and talk about the first two and leave the third? Not everyone is healthy enough to fry akara do u even know the health implications of sitting close to frying oil every day? |

badoh: Obi weh no get levels for the northern part of Nigeria is the one claiming he won 2023 presidential elections. Who sabi Obi for the core north. He's only popular down south to some extent and Southern votes alone especially southeast and South South cannot make you win presidential elections, take that to the bank. The north you are talking about is obviously the NW and NE any presidential candidate can comfortably win without these two regions, the last time I checked obi won plateau, abuja, taraba and nasarawa states. |

Crime › Re: Gunmen Kill Ardo Muhammad, Benue Miyetti Allah Chairman by Mrexcell(m): 9:46am On Jun 27 |
UncleAyo: New day, new show.
This is condemnable. However, no individual or group has a monopoly on violence, kidnapping, banditry, or terrorism. Those who believe they can unleash violence without consequence should remember that such actions often create cycles of retaliation and instability that ultimately harm everyone.
Why Islamic Terrorists Should Join The Army
Islamic Terrorists are being forcefully integrated into the Nigeria Army as a part of a broader agenda. This is so that once enough of these individuals are integrated into the military, they will eventually seize control of the military leadership, stage a coup, overthrow the government, and establish an Islamic regime governed by Sharia law. It will not only stop there; they will murder all other non-muslims and murder also their perceived "less muslims" including the southwest muslims and turn Nigeria into an Islamic enclave.
Islam is an international political ideology - disguise as a religion - aim at conquering other people's territory, to kill the aboriginal people and to dominate them. This is evident all over the world where sharia law is practiced. And, let me bring you close to home; the northern Nigeria is predominantly Hausas, but it is very hard to see an Hausa man today as a local government chairman talkless of Governor because the Fulanis have taken over using religion.
Now, they are planning to take over Nigeria through the back door of integrating terrorist into the Army.
They will enroll enough of these Islamic terrorists into the military so that when they have the enough numbers people and access to weaponry and intelligent secrets of the army, they will with the help of and fighting along with other terrorists seize control of the military leadership, stage a coup, overthrow the government, and establish an Islamic regime governed by Sharia law.
If you say that Islamic terrorists are killing muslims also, those muslims (or mosques) bombed belongs to rival Islamic sects and/or those that do not fully support the full Islamic ideology or preach against it. And for muslims in the southern Nigeria, especially those in the southwest Yorubaland, they in the north are already telling you that you are not religiously muslim enough.
The Quran contain several passages that commands muslims to fight, kill, kidnap and terrorize non-believers and take over their land and possessions (condemning non-muslims as "infidels" ; This is no longer a secret as these passages are available in many translations of the Quran available online. The islamists you commonly call extremists are the real muslims that follows the command of Allah.
Now you should understand why some people don't see anything wrong with banditry and terrorism and why they want the integration of terrorist tagged "repentant" into the Nigeria Army.
The question we should keep asking include:
1. Why is there greater concern for the rehabilitation and welfare of former Islamic terrorists than for their victims?
2. What is the fate of the victims of terrorism? What support is available for the families of soldiers who lost their lives fighting terrorism?
3. What is the rationale behind integrating former terrorists into the same military alongside soldiers who lost their comrades fighting those terrorists?
4. Would any serious country with a vision for its future integrate former terrorists into its military—or even into its local vigilante groups?
If the government genuinely wants to rehabilitate Islamic terrorists, why not establish livestock and crop farms and employ them there? Alternatively, why not establish factories—for example, vehicle manufacturing plants—and employ them in those industries instead of integrating them into the Nigerian Army? There's definitely a hidden ulterior motives behind the integration. |

Borrow2222: Every right thinking Nigerian knows that the APC is doing everything possible to prevent you from contesting in the 2027 elections.
Even with all the governors under his control, they are still afraid of PO.
What they don't even realize is that the more they try to disenfranchise you, the more people see that they are all scared of you.
If the APC is confident that they have performed well, according to the propaganda they dish out, why don't they allow a level playing field?
My view is that they should not, in an attempt to retain power, push Nigeria into anarchy.
The country is already tense and charged.
They shouldn't try their luck any further. The fear is there for all to see it's really shameful to be completely in control of all machinery of govt including having the backing of over 30 governors and still be descending this low to play this type of dirty politics. They might just end up cancelling themselves at the end of the day without even knowing it. |

Politics › Re: State Police Will Face Funding Crisis, Abuse By Governors — Balarabe Sule by Mrexcell(m): 10:17am On Jun 26 |
budaatum: Indeed, not all states. We however must recognise that some states are not even paying state workers salaries, and consider what the state police will do if they are not paid.
Also, state police would likely be limited to their state and might not cross the state border. How would they deal with criminals who cross the border into other states? Who arrests me if I commit a crime in Kano and run to Osun State? Which state will pay for the policing resource used? And what do they intend to do with the current police force?
All these and other issues should be addressed so state police works if implemented. There will also be federal police and crimes considered as federal crimes. |
