Artscollection: Unfortunately baterians and hell anus are more focused on imaginary threat from igbos. The real protest that can destroy bat govt will be from the north and he can't be able to control those almajiris so i dont know why those brainless fools are concerned about igbos that have vehemently deny the protest and their stupid oro festival madness.they are not even thinking about those aboki almajiris in Lagos that usually holds them hostage in their land. The foolish cowards are busy chasing after shadows while their house is about to completely burn down it will be game over for them before they get some sense. |

Politics › Re: LEAKED MEMO: IG Directs Personnel To Work With Military To Stop Protests by Mrexcell(m): 3:03pm On Jul 26, 2024 |
ivandragon: The government’s default setting is to use force to counter the protests.
That is a very wrong move. It would be better to let the protesters have a specific point/route of gathering/procession, then properly police those areas/spaces... keep protesters in, keep miscreants out.
By denying space, you are creating potential for multiple flash points which would be more difficult to control.
Also, it gives room for the security agencies to go on thier usual indiscriminate harassment under guise of not allowing protests. This will only lead to further inflammation.
And inviting the Military at this point? Senseless. It just shows the government is ready to kill people and damn the consequences.
For someone who proudly encouraged several protests against military high handedness and dictatorship, and a civilian government who tried to do what he is doing, but in a more organised and humane way, BAT is really going batshit over this looming protest. When God wants to destroy a very wicked leader he first hardens his heart I don't even think all the nigerian security agents combined together is up to 2m compared to nigeria's over 200m population. |

Lagos State is an oil producing state. mrvitalis: All this half truth is annoying
Let me say this the reason South South ports are not active is simply because they are not allowed to receive certain goods, certain goods comes ONLY through Lagos
Pharmaceuticals can only... I mean only come through Lagos airport or Apapa not even tincan
Soludo was shocked when he called igbos in the pharmaceutical industry why they are not back home (since igbos control over 70% of local pharmaceutical industry) ... They told him they can only import through Apapa
Let's be real.. Let all ports be equal, let competition drives growth of ports
I can list like 15 other goods that most come from Lagos
In fact Food... Anything for human consumption must come through Lagos ... It's annoying Can you imagine this clearly confirms the lagos ports monopoly rumours. The port here in warri have been used to ship in all the heavy pipes used in the construction of the ongoing kkk gas pipeline project yet the federal govt still claims the port can't function optimally unless the river that connects the port to the sea is dredged. |

otipoju: I love Benjamin's resolve.
People forget or do not understand what is really at play here.
The big picture is a tussle between Iran and Saudi Arabia with Iran being the agressor
Iran a Shia majority Muslim country which is a minority within Islam, wants to conquer Jerusalem and claim it for itself as a holy city to rival Saudi Arabia's Mecca that is a holy site for Sunni Muslims.
After that, IRAN wants to spread its version of radical Islam worldwide. If you doubt this remember in 2010, when a container of weapons were siezed at the port in Lagos. They were from Iran and was meant for the Shia group in the north. We did not understand at that time cause we were naive...but now it is all making sense
Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis of Yemen are mere pawns in the game...bound together by their joint and rabid hatred for the Jews. The Iranian day dreaming clowns still think they are in the ancient days of persia. |

Time to stop electing octogenarians as President of Ohanaeze. Let them be advisers as members of Imeobi. This is also my thoughts I don't know why igbo leaders keep going after weak old men to elect as Ohaneze president general instead of knowledgeable vibrant young men? |

Afrojuju2017: These same bastards torpedo the effort of senators and Reps mostly from SW to designate Lagos State as a special economic state so FG can assist it to address issues around its population density, the burden of hosting several national critical infrastructures and agencies etc Abeg what is the purpose of SE development commission?
Their State governors have been getting a fair share of allocation, they've not been any more marginalised than any other state or region in terms of FG infrastructure and they ate not at war or recovering from war last time I checked. This commission should have since been set up immediately after the biafran war when gowon declared no victor and no vanquished and also the the three rs but its still better late than never there are so many things the commission can do in Igboland if the funds allocated to it are judiciously used like taking care of the ravaging erosion in many igbo communities which the federal govt is currently not doing anything about. |

Unfortunately they won't because they are obviously more civilised they can't descend that low of kidnapping innocent school girls from their schools and killing innocent nigerians just to make the apc govt look bad to the world and finally capture political power. Taking the same route will only completely destroy what is left of a dieing nigeria. |
Politics › Re: It Is Risky For Faceless People To Lead Protests – Dele Momodu Warns Protesters by Mrexcell(m): 2:57pm On Jul 25, 2024 |
gaby: Exactly..
This is a testament that BAT is indeed a better politician(emphasis on politician) with a steely ball and ability to cunning his way through politically. Today's opposition are more concerned about online followings, condolence visits, and reacting to the most mundane of issues even when it means doing it from faraway Dubai.
When he was on the other side of the divide, he was able to galvanize folks including the henchmen from every region while being at the forefront to raise a dust about GEJs administration to get his way and bring us to where we are today.
As much of his fan that I am not I still have a huge and massive respect for his technical know-how and cunningness in the game of politics because this exactly is the name of the game...Dirty game.
It isn't a game for cowards and Mr Niceys...... We all can now see how those that knew how to play the dirty nigerian politics totally and completely destroyed the nigerian economy within just 9yrs of capturing power. |

Let’s see who you have to blame now,go and mark attendance on that day by region and tribe!
The protest should be peaceful unless the police and army decide to shoot unarmed protesters like they alway do! You actually have a point here the tribal coloration have made it difficult for anyone to come out boldly as leaders of the protesters the pdp never used this method against tinibu and buhari apc in 2014 when they came out to lead several protests. |

I don't even think they know what they are playing with if they ever try it many neutral nigerians including igbos watching quietly on the sidelines will definitely be forced to take side and it will be anarchy across the country. |
