cream1: A country like Nigeria and the Calibre of players we are producing deserves a better coach equal to standards the have at their club side, but NFF always go for Mediocre when selecting coaches for the National Team.
Nigeria coaches should match European coaches side by side, who can coach and not just assembly stars and hope the win matches.
Try again in the next 4yrs. Failure and APC 5&6. Very annoying when the nff chairman say he can't afford a foreign coach when small countries like Benin have one? |
Sports › Re: Finidi George Fails Nigeria As Benin Republic Trump Super Eagles by Mrexcell(m): 9:03pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
Heffalump: What pedigree does Finidi George has a coach before NFF handed him the coaching job? Is it the right time to start doing trial and error with a local coach who cannot can? Nff chairman obviously thinks he can play nigerian kind of politics in international football if u want to go for a local coach why go for someone who has only coached a local enyimba fc in his whole carrier? Why didn't they go for someone like amuneke who has coached a country and also won an under 17 international football tournament? |
Sports › Re: Finidi George Fails Nigeria As Benin Republic Trump Super Eagles by Mrexcell(m): 8:53pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
Very shameful this is what u get when u play dirty politics with football and also disorganised. I don't know why a whole nigeria will prefer to hire a local coach who doesnt have much experience to coach the super eagles leaving someone who has a better coaching experience in the international stage. Nigeria will definitely pay the heavy price for bringing nigerian kind of politics to the international football scene I don't see any way out for the SE at this point. This is my first time of seeing nigeria hiring a coach without any international experience to coach the SE what a huge blunder. |

pazienza: No disunity. Orlu state proposal is good, but Anioma is better! Orlu will have to take a back stage for a greater cause which Anioma represents. Anioma reunification with SE has been on the front burner since 1939 when Bernard Burdillion the then British administrator of Nigeria divided the old Southern Protectorate into Western and Eastern region and ended up adding Western Igbo to Western region. Western Igbo kings protested against this injustice and wrote Bernard Burdillion to return them to Eastern region with their kin and kiths, but the British didn't hearken to this call. Since then the likes of Osadebey Dennis and other Western Igbo leaders have been working on this. I'm glad Ned Nwoko has stepped up to take up the mantle of this noble and divine task (. ), Ndiigbo in SE must do our bit. We must do proper consultations with Ned Nwoko, get other voices in Anioma on the round table and make this dream a reality. It's the dawn of a new era! Ife ga adi MMA! Every sane igbo person will definitely be supporting them I prefer anioma people to be added to igboland than confused and troublesome ikwerre people aniomas are very rich in human resources. |

Namaster: That's a whooping #3.3 TRILLION Naira FRAUD in just 6 years!
If the audit is expanded to 30 years, the SHEER volume of fraud dressed up as subsidy payments would make you FAINT!
Funny thing about this is absolutely NO ONE will be prosecuted for the #3.3 TRILLION Naira fraud. But that's not even the funniest thing.
Funniest thing is that after an INDEPENDENT and INTERNATIONALLY-RECOGNISED accounting titan like KPMG audited the accounts and revealed the crookedness of it all, a POLITICALLY APPOINTED Auditor-General for the federation wants redo it.
What for? Of course tinibu has no balls to prosecute buhari who was the minister of petroleum. |

Note: My above statement does not in any way validate that pretentious criminal onuku Peter Obi as any savior or messiah, infact he would have done worse. With people like u nigeria's hope of electing credible leaders will forever remain a dream. How can you claim what nigeria is currently passing through was caused by gej? Politics › Re: KEN SARO WIWA Could Not Believe What Happened To Him by Mrexcell(m): 11:54am On Jun 10, 2024 |
Yujin: You see, your hatred for Igbos will also be your undoing and it will happen very soon. No one is asking other ethnic groups to join Igbos in Biafra. They are free to remain in Nigeria or seek a separate union for themselves. Those we include in Biafra is because we feel we have a historical connection with them. If they don't care about the connection or totally reject it, it will still be to our advantage in the long run. Let me just compare the antecedents of Igbos and Fulanis in Nigeria for others to read and draw their conclusions. 1. Igbos are indigenous to the Nigerian territory and as a matter of fact appears to possess the oldest settlements. We've lived cordially with all the various minority ethnic groups around us and have heavily intermarried with them. The fulanis on the other hand aren't indigenous to the Nigerian territory and have never lived cordially with all other ethnic groups ever since they entered Nigeria. There's nothing called Fulani land in Nigeria yet they have kings all over because they kill off the indigenous kings and ascend the thrones of those people who welcomed them. The Hausas, Nupes, Adamawas, Yorubas of Ilorin, Tarabas, Gombe etc all have fulani kings after their own kings were killed and replaced by fulanis.
2. Though fighting may occur between two ethnic groups, the Igbos didn't enslave or sell the minorities around them. Igbos still lived with all of them after border clashes and continue to do business with them as equals. Many ethnic groups found refuge in Igboland back in the days when their enemies are in pursuit of them. On the otherhand, the fulanis enslaved and sold a lot of those minority ethnic groups. They used to raid them specifically for selling them either to the Arabs in North Africa or towards the Atlantic Sea to other slave traders. Fulanis depopulated the middlebelt of Nigeria through raiding and enslavement. There are books that explain this very well. Even Yoruba settlements in Kwara, Osun and Kogi fell victim of the fulani raids and slave traders. Many Yorubas that were sold off as slaves in the transatlantic slave trade were victims of Fulani enslavement. Bishop Ajayi Crowther was one of their victims. Which ethnic group in Nigeria today can say they were once enslaved and sold off by Igbos at anytime in history? Not even one.
3. Igbos have been an enterprising people right from centuries ago and we transversed the lands of all the minorities around us catering for their various needs which includes food, medicine, religious and spiritual solutions to problems, metallic items for traditional and religious uses, cloths etc. We equally bought from them items they produced which helped their economies. What about the Fulanis? How have they related with other ethnicities that welcomed them? Do you know the Kanuris chased them away from Kanuri territory back in the days? They Kanuris saw through them and learnt quickly what had happened to the Hausa and therefore, chased them away. It was thereafter that the fulanis attacked the Adamawa territory killing, raping and enslaving the smaller ethnic groups living there. They thereafter took the lands from the indigenous people. Whatever you see they are doing today has been what they were doing back in the days... nothing has changed.
Tranquil, are these the people you want to compare to Igbos? Are these the people that are better than Igbos? Let readers judge for themselves. Like I wrote before, any ethnic group who was included in Biafra but doesn't want it is free to opt out. Meanwhile, the fulanis will continue to kill them and take over there lands. Life goes on. God bless you brother this is very enlightening and educative but the stubborn fly as they say will always despise all warnings and follow the corpse to the grave. |

Na only all those who believed Kanu is Jubrin from Sudan go fall for your lies. Even if it was really Ironsi that abolished regional govts in nigeria does that make it the decision of the entire igbo nation? Why didn't ur tribesmen that have ruled nigeria all these years returned nigeria back to regional govt if they are not really the brains behind the abolishment? Only a very dumb bigot will continue blaming and cursing Ironsi and his entire tribe who only ruled nigeria for only six months for abolishing regional govts when they themselves have all the time in the world to correct that mistake. |
