shocked

Wale Ojo has no respect,
See how he's holding Willie Willie like he is his boy.

In Igbo land, there's a proverb that says; 'the richest in the family gets the respect due to the firstborn'

Wale Ojo might be older, but Williams has a higher social rating. The least he could do is accord him some respect in the photo.

He won't have put his hand over the shoulder of Aliko Dangote like that.

Have you considered the fact that he’s taller and that’s the most convenient pose....

Nigerians get bad mouth oo.

PMB was bombarded for saying his wife belongs in his kitchen. Now this woman is getting grief cos her husband doesn't allow her to cook. would have taught the husband would be roundly applauded.

People like you believe all sort of things! Anyone who has a contrary opinion, different from yours, is considered inhuman because he or she doesn't believe in what the masses have been brain-washed to believe!

can you cut out that undertone of superiority?! like you know something and average Nigerian doesn't know.

Abegi! what to believe and what not to believe in this case is a matter of which side you belong to. its not about brain washing or some superior thinking. pls!

if you say no girls were kidnapped and today's events are a charade. u don't have the facts to back up DAT claim

if you say they were kidnapped and they have been released. we don't have enough details at this moment to prove that. and we may never have.

so spare us the lecture. just pick a side and defend it with as much conjecture and emotion as you can. that's the naija way.

at my age i dont believe shit...you still call them girls instead of women? People who have been used as sex machine for several years are liable to be more bigger and fat than those tiny things am seeing

come on. this is really insensitive. tiny things? how can a malnourished nursing mother grow bigger or fatter?

tiny things? to even call an human being a 'thing'. I'm short of words
Politics / Re: Call For Restructuring Of Nigeria: Yorubas Are Envious Of The North - Yakasai by mrgafari(m): 5:02pm On Oct 04, 2016
I think we really need to see restructuring as an option in this country. cos we seem lost with our current political structure and seem to be moving in circles.

for those shouting afonjas and slaves. its time to think logically and put your bigotry aside. the real slaves are the hausa beggars, okada men, shoe shiners, porters that fill the streets of Lagos and other commercial centers. the almajiris too. they live below the poverty line yet there is little heat on their leaders to make things better.

same applies to the online ethnic gymnasts here. your leaders are too comfortable for a country in this kind of trouble. u exhaust all the heat you have here...afonja,ofemabu,iyemiri,flattie,backwards north, bubu, scratch face. yet outside there, the senator representing your constituency is living a life you can only dream of.....for doing nothing!

I've never seen where slaves are pointing out other slaves. walahi, olohun, chineke.....the real slaves are here on nairaland. willing ones ooo

And I am to believe the likes of Tinubu and Amaechi are not corrupt?

Guy stop this hypocrisy abeg!

Im responsible for what I typed. I'm not responsible for what you read

I've gone through my post again and I can't see where I said those men u mentioned are not corrupt. in fact, people who know me will tell you I'm one of the biggest critics of tinubu.

my post was about support for a government and when that support is withdrawn.

its either you're the hypocrite here or you simply quoted the wrong comment. going by your other comments and your moniker, I believe the former is the case.

Hedonistically:

So when, if ever, will you turn against Buhari... In spite of his colossal failure to manage the economy, resulting in the most rapid inflation ever witnessed in Nigeria within a year; and in spite of his shielding his corrupt appointees such as Abba Kyari, Burantashi, Dambarawo, and so on? Why haven't you turned against him even after learning about his indifferent stance to the illegal CBN and FIRS recruitments which corruptly favoured his relatives and the relatives of other APC stalwarts? What of his tacit approval of Fulani Herdsmen's genocidal activities across Nigeria?

When, my good friend, will you and the rest of Yorubaland turn against Buhari?

if things continue to go bad, it won't take long my friend. this government has not met the expectations of its supporters so far. its very obvious. but it still has time on its side. I still believe buhari has good intentions

but if he fails for four years or even 3 out of four years, I assure you people will turn against him. that's why we have elections.

As for this talk of yorubas defending buhari. I make bold to say there is no man from any other tribe from any other region that has criticized this regime as much as fayose or fani-kayode. the closest would be reno omokiri and maybe melaye. I can't think of any one from the south east. this shows you that its not about tribe but rather, its about the brain ticking in your head and the heart beating in your chest.

Expantiate further on what buhari hopes to do for your Yoruba land.

And before you do that be reminded that it is your national anthem to *go against ND and Biafra own demands.*

Why then should the better south support you in your selfish quest while you go about castigating their own desires and aspirations?

the yorubas, Igbos and the people of the Niger Delta voted massively for Goodluck Jonathan during his first election.

Voting for Buhari is not about ethnic bigotry. It was just a yearning for a better way of doing things, justified or not.

Personally I turned against GEJ the moment he granted presidential pardon to the late DSP. The straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that Abba Moro remained in position after the immigration recruitment disaster.

people take ideological stands for a reason. and most times the reason is not ethnic bigotry

Some Yorubas are really incredible... claiming sophistication on empty stomach just the same way Awolowo did only to be stripped at the end.

Some of them ask what Gej did for the Igbos that make us like and support him.... quite funny and ridiculous question.

Well it's on record that Gej open Igbo land to the rest of the world by giving us an international Airport.... what others denied us for ages. even if this is the only thing we benefited from the government of Jonathan, it's enough to praise him.

Now the question I have for the Yorubas is this... If igbos are wrong in supporting Jonathan who could only give them an international airport, what did Obasanjo did for the Yorubas in his 8 uninterrupted years that make you guys adore him

If you think Yoruba's adore him, you are dead wrong. I grew up in Ogun State and can tell you categorically that his political influence is next to nothing. you can even discern that on nairaland here. most yorubas tout names like awolowo and even Fashola during the various ethnic e-wars. Obasanjo bawo?

The man is an enigma. he divides opinions across board. to say he is adored in Yoruba land is a fallacy of hasty generalization.

Properties / Re: 1,000 Houses To Go For Lagos-abeokuta Road Expansion by mrgafari(m): 7:21am On Oct 04, 2016

The traffic on that road is outrageous mehn...but the landlords should be duly compensated

you are right. I believe that road is the busiest in Nigeria. every morning, millions of people pour from Ogun state and the mainland through that road into the island. by evening, they pour back.

this expansion is very critical. and must be done the right way. but compensation should be given to property owners who are affected.

your grouse with the couple is based on the assumption that the wife was coerced. you never thought it could be out of freewill. or for love of money. or for the celebrity status. or so many other reasons.

the fact u concluded it was by fault is a fair enough pointer that you are a religious zealot

if you can prove to me that she was forced, I will admit I was wrong

even if all the so-called money wasn't looted
people like ye with a shallow n poverty thinking mindset like you n your type will remain poor without seeing a dime

the guy was right. it is our money. and it doesn't matter if he's lazy or shallow or poverty stricken.

it is high time we start showing a sense of propriety in this country. public funds are our commonwealth. public funds are our reward for being born in this country.

people like you will join a mob to lynch a man that stole a thousand naira from a market stall. but when you see a man stealing millions belonging to you, your parents, your spouses, your unborn children, your friends.....you work so hard to find arguments to support him.

it is so sad
