Makes zero sense to me..
We are against "corrupt borrowings", but that doesn't mean that we are against borrowings of all types. What do I mean?
Anambra state has alot of projects to do. So if soludo has lots of healthy projects in mind and he feels that he needs to borrow to fund those, I will encourage him to do so. Why? He looks a bit more polished than most of the political hyenas angling for the job of Anambra state governor. Atleast, he looks like he will not embezzle such funds, and he obviously has the financial background to manage such loans effectively to achieve desired results.

But such can not be said for say Hope Uzodimma in Imo state or Sanwo Olu in Lagos State. APC as a party is desperate to hyjack all state houses in Nigeria to create a one party state. These APC urchins are bound to fiddle with such funds and may end up swallowing everything if they are the ones at Anambra state government House. If soludo refuses to borrow all through his term based on principles, there is a good chance that the guy coming after him might even be far more financially wreckless and will go ahead to borrow the same funds and squander them without these projects being done..
When you deduct all the money being stolen, most of these states may not need to borrow, if Soludo has closed those channels, they may be sufficient

Anambra is far bigger but couldn't measure up to Oyo in both VAT and IGR, you are just a typical simpleton lol

Right now there is almost no big business in Nigeria without a base in Ibadan Oyo state, check very well you will always see Ibadan among list of bases of business that are present in Abuja and Lagos.

It is statistics like VAT that determine where some businesses will situate their base in Nigeria because high VAT signal the level of products being purchase in a state.
Those factories that pays peanut to their workers and got tax waiver, in reality their products are being sold in places like Anambra in bulks, smes and private businesses thrive in Anambra and that contribute more and develop nations more than few multinationals

Emmanuel900:
What's wrong with taking loan ?
There's nothing wrong with loan as long as it will be use for something productive.

You think Dangote would be able to built that refinery without loans even though he is the richest man in Africa?

You are just financially daft, there's no rich business man in the world that is not taking loan in fact there's no developed country in the world without debts even China, taking loans give you access to more funds and increase your productivity, no wonder Oyo state have more VAT than the whole East, It is stupid thing that won't increase your productivity that you propagate and celebrate.
In case of your politicians, those loans are squandered, and if your revenue is channeled properly without being siphoned, you'll achieve more than those taking loans

MadPolitician:
When the north or the south west wants to produce a president, they will go to their respective ethnic covens to bring out either a desert hyena or an emilokan iguana to come and loot, maim and corner all the nations resources for them. And their whole region will line up behind these crooks to vote them in.

But once there is any serious talk of finding a president from either the south-east or the south south, the same people that fought and killed to impose a drug baron and a killer as presidents, will start looking for non corrupt technocrats with the "global experience, leadership acumen and credibility"! "Someone that is widely respected and accepted"! No more"Grab and run" tribal champions?

In any event, since it is a "turn by turn" lootocracy that we are now practicing in Nigeria, any president coming from either the south-east or the south south must be a crooked theif, willing to loot and corner everything for these two neglected regions, the same way buhari and Tinubu have been doing for the north and the southwest. Everyone should be bringing their most ruthless thief for the presidency..
This is the reason I will always support OUK

Personally, I have written about this civil war and how Igbos are labelled as conspirators which I still stood by.

Now that General Babangida is trying to dribble us again, and Igbos are saying otherwise, I think we all need to take a step back.

Number 1, IBB cannot be trusted. A man who lied against dead people. Firstly, he lied against Abacha that he alone annulled June 12 and not togerher with him, and secondly, he insisted that Vasta planned a coup against him without giving us a real evidence even till this moment. Can we trust such person? A man who bastardised Nigeria. A man who finished Nigeria. He has lied on several occasions.

The truth is that Igbos themselves are victims of this evil man. And what IBB is trying to do now...he will meet a shameful end.

Now, let's be real. Igbos don't need Nigeria anymore. This is the truth. Listen, Igbo will prosper on their own if they can unite and do something. As long as Yoruba and Igbos are in the same nation, there will be problem. The earlier we forget the past and move on, the better for everyone.

Yorubas don't trust Igbos, and vice versa. This is the truth. I read a post where an Igbo said Yoruba are backstabbers. Lol. I have written about this na. While I don't see Yorubas as backstabbers, they just are experts in playing Igbos. Why? Na lie a dey lie? Tell me. Do we need to start arguing how forceful Igbos are? Igbos cannot deny it too. Dem go dey talk like say dem own everything. Lol. But those Yorubas, dem go just dey silent, dey shake their heads as if they have succumed to Igbo's bullying....dem go just dey watch Igbos dey ginger and swagger all over the places. At the last min, dem go cut dem Igbos ticket. grin Amd na so Igbos go dey cry bitterly. E dey happen many times na. So, they can't unite. Let's be factual here.

The Biafra war is a lesson for us all. The best is that we go our separate ways and stop fooling ourselves that Nigeria will work. Nigeria will NEVER work. Healing will not take place unless we go our separate ways.

Goodluck to you all.
Just say Yorubas are cunning and untrustworthy and move on, their schemes are cowardice and not dribbling anything

IBB's book is telling us how he tried to make a non-northerner win but the South-East didn't want it. Nzeribe the rich man started the ABN movement that clamoured for military rule to continue, while the South-East stood behind Northerner Tofa so that Abiola the man with the muslim-muslim ticket would not win. History unfortunately finds a way to sickly repeat itself.

Sincerely, marriage in this age is becoming a burden. And it's simply a product of gross illiteracy in our consistent quest for western influenced marital status/description.

If you are an African man, don't marry her because she is beautiful. Marry because she will add value to you.

Don't pay a bride price if the woman is not valuable. Up North, we don't pay for overused vehicles with a high milage.

Our bride price is a paltry sum and we don't spend so much on Nikkah. In fact, it's the parents of the girl that provides most of the items we need and also conduct a "send forth" for their daughter with plenty of gifts.

Reject bad character. And if you are want to marry a woman because she is ligh skinned, go for Fulani or Benue. They are naturally light skinned, not cream influenced. They are very homely and were raised to respect and revere their husbands, hence the title "Mai Gida".

As African men, we want to be respected and reverenced as Kings that we are. If you deny knowledge of this identity, your marriage will crash. So stop fighting it and find a spouse who agrees to these conditions.

As for the couple, when you got married, we were not informed or invited, now you are separated please let us breath.

Take your terrible marital problems away from our our screens.
LoL those girls from the areas you mentioned wouldn't give him the class he needs in a woman. The man should respect himself and do the needful

19 states in the North
5 states in the East

I think its only a mentally ill person that should expect things to be shared in the same percentage especially when those from the 5 states have made themselves an enemy of the North and their fellow southerners....

The north will always have the higher share.

Lets not even talk about what this 5states are
bringing to the national treasury....

Or should we talk about the fact that these 5states are less than some northern states in Land mass and that each northern state can still be broken into 3 additional state each?

You may argue that its not about landmass.

But you know the reality

The North has a higher percentage in the total number of states. If I was dealing with the Yorubas or, Ijaw who are actually known for having a higher IQ I would have expected these comments to tell us how the North with 19 states who actually contribute more to the National treasury and also feed most of the country is expected to get exactly what the SE with 5states get, but you are the set of people who dont even know their 123 which is why you a call everyone with a few thousands and a car a billionaire.
Even if we say we give 1 per state the SE wants to get 19 ministers because the North will get 19 ministers at 1minister per state.
I think its regional mental problem

This is yet another thing I forgot to mention...
This your foul mouth is the reason why even when you are qualified for a position you dont get it, but it think its insulting people upandan, bragging and making noise is a part of the Igbo cultural heritage anyways....

Anyone with a brain as small as that of a rat would know that when he has problems with everyone around him, from the south, to the north to the west, he most definitely is the major problem.....
Nobody hates the igbos, people just hate this your character
Just be proud and say you hate the Igbos no body will beat you. LoL talking of IQ, you people and delusion
