I always laugh away people's ignorance when they claim, Igbo support Jonathan out of tribal or ethnic lines because had Yardua been alive today, he would have enjoyed the same massive support as Jonathan from the Igbo. We are too timid and crude when it comes to playing Nigerian politics, always not wanting to upset the apple cart. Until we do that for once, other regions will never respect and give us our deals when it comes to sharing the spoils.

If you are stating that you do not want to alienate an ethnic group based on voting Achebe into the Hall of Shame, you might as well cancel the Hall of Fame.

Afterall, the Hall of Shame came into place when NigerianVillageSquare started theirs after announcing Bishop Oyedepo into their Hall of Shame. Jarus thereafter came on the politics section and started the same idea. For about two years now, it has been running.

SO what gives when the likes of Oyedepo, Jonathan are inducted into the hall of Shame, and a crippled imbecilic old man in the US cannot be inducted into the same? Whereas just last year, he was nominated as a potential winner into Nairaland Hall of Fame?
