You are very right. I can only imagine too. I read a story years ago about Usain Bolt. He was also diagnosed with HYPERACTIVITY but look at him today.

With guidance and direction along with patience, kids like that will be put in the right direction in life.

Parents and Teachers have a role to play. If not, they will end up beating, fighting and not understanding the kids all their lives.

In 2018. I was teaching in a School as a teacher. I was given the course Agricultural Science to teach them. I wanted to teach Health Education or something but hey...I had to obey my principal.

I'm no longer teaching again.

There was a boy who was Dyslexic. He had Dyslexia. He was 19 yrs old in Jss1. Teachers gave up on him but I didn't. I did my possible best to help this boy even having one on one private reading sessions with him after class and on Saturdays.

It got to a point this boy started performing well, doing well in class and even answering questions in class to the amazement of his younger mates. His grades started to improve.

One-day, this boy told me becos of me, he would love to study Agriculture in the University. I almost started crying

That's the power of a Teacher.

A Teacher is one who has the Patience not just to teach but to identify every child's deficiency and still INSPIRE them to be great in life.

Teachers play a vital role in Infant/Child Development and they need to be well informed on their pupils or students inabilities and be patient enough to help them academically to be great in life.

Also, quite Informative for those that no nothing about such condition becos most Parents don't even know if their kids have the condition or not. They would just tag them "bad or abdnormal child" then result to flogging them. So sad.

The teachers in the school are not well informed and educated on such issue. Most of them will just be beating and flogging the kids ignorantly becos they act differently, not learning well in class not knowing these kids have underlying conditions. It's so sad. We see cases like this daily.


Patients and Children with such conditions can be helped and they will see great improvements.

Just recently we had a case similar to this and the child is doing so well now.
