I am neither a car dealer nor a mechanic but from what I was made to understand, other Accords begining from 1998-2003 have transmission issues. I have used 1999 Accord in the past and wants to upgrade to 07 Accord which to me is the best of its class considering cost of maintenance, durability, design, fuel economy and availability of parts. This car has a good record, good milage and good maintenance history so if i were you, I will sacricife extra money to buy it. If perhaps you change your mind in the future which I don’t think you will, you may consider 2000-2001 camry which sells bw1.3-1.450m, 2002-2005 camry which sells by1.650-2m.

I don’t believe you'll change your mind anyway because that car is a good buy and it will last you for years.

The car is definintely cheap for that price. You just have to go with your mechanic to ensure that it's not an accidented or flooded car. 07 Accord sells bw 2.4-2.8m. So if you get a good one below this price, it is definitely a good buy.

Lest I forget, make sure you run a carfax report using the vin. This will give you the vehicle history since its an American car.
