Self-fulfilling nonsense out of their mouths all the time. Why does this particular "God" they are worshiping and talking to not show them how Nigeria can grow its economy 100% in one year!

BTW Nostradamus' predictions cannot be proven. He was successful as an astrologer for the people of his time -- much like today's astrologers live off one hit in a 1000 predictions. However, his century quatrains are mumbo-jumbo wrapped up in indecipherable numerology+astrology. I must admit that it is a great attraction to see if they could be proven to be true.
I have asked myself rseveral times if their God ever see good things happening in Nigeria, the predictions will never come for Good roads, Improved Electricty supply, job creation etc, na waooooo,

Ex Dutch international Mar co van basten and Ex German international Jurgen Klinsman both took the national team job with out an previous experience and they were both paid world class salary, Coach Samson Sisia has the record to show for it,age grade or not, he deserve the money after all the NFF had the chance and opportunity to have got him cheap 3 years ago,2 years ago and 1 year ago, they did not and please we are talking of the Coach of the national team of NIGERIA and not Togo, Mali, Benin, Ghana, South Africa or even Tunisia, This is NIGERIA the Super Eagle.
We seek result and should not be looking at the money at this stage, Siasia is worth every penny he is asking for.

Equated with Nostradamus, a 16th century French Physician/Prognosticator, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church gained prominence for the accuracy of most of his predictions. He recently spoke with Sunday Sun in his modest office in the Oke-Afa, Isolo area of Lagos where he again reeled out several mind-blowing predictions. Excerpts…

INEC and Jega
This book (Warning to the Nations) was published in April 2010, in which I predicted that (former Independent National Electoral Commission chairman, Prof Maurice) Iwu will be removed and it came to pass. Let me tell you categorically that (Prof Attahiru) Jega does not have a solution to election rigging in Nigeria. Jega will disappoint Nigerians.

Don’t expect any miracle from the man, as he will eventually compromise. He would want to do the right thing but the forces in operation would not let him conduct a credible election. There is an agenda, which will make Jega to disappoint Nigerians and the President himself.

2011 election
Expect a lot of happenings. There will be election in 2011 and President Jonathan and IBB will contest. But I can tell you that (Abubakar) Atiku, (Muhammadu) Buhari can never rule this country again. As for Jonathan, he will contest but he will not win. There will be rigging and all sorts of vices. We all saw what happened after the June 12 (1993) election was annulled.

I have told you and I repeat it that this democracy will break this country. Apart from democracy breaking this country, the issue of zoning will bring no good to the country. The solution is that Jonathan must not contest the election if you want peace. He should honour the gentleman agreement in the PDP(Peoples Democratic Party) so that the country can move forward. If Jonathan contests, he will win by force but it will cause a lot of problems for the country, and this country may break up as a result of it.

People may see this as a bad prediction, but for those that have ears let them listen to the warning of God. People may criticize it but it is a warning from God. For those that God loves, He reveals himself.
People are pushing Jonathan to run for presidency in 2011 but he should not listen to them. Old politicians will pitch tent against themselves that may result in another coup in Nigeria. In the interim, a sponsored coup is likely to occur. I know President Jonathan may not like what I’m saying, but he should not listen to sycophants.
We predicted last year that there would be changes in (late President Umaru) Yar’Adua’s government. A lot of people criticized it. If Jonathan wants this country to be one indivisible entity, he should not contest next year’s presidential election. I am not against Jonathan, but that is what God says. We are saying it the way God revealed it to us. This is not a matter of calculation; it is what God said.

I am saying it for the avoidance of doubt that Nigeria will break up. Whether we pray or not, it is the wish of God. I know many people may not like to hear this. Some may be saying why is this man talking like this, but it is what God has decreed. Nigeria will not experience peace until it breaks up. I don’t know when it will happen but it will come to pass.

Let us pray for peaceful election. Lagos State governor, (Babatunde) Fashola, will be elected for a second term but it is not going to be easy for him. There will be problems in Ogun State because of the 2011 election as a greenhorn will emerge as the governor. Alao-Akala will be elected by force in Oyo and there is going to be problem in the state. In Ekiti, Oni will contest and will win. I did not see (Rauf) Aregbesola as governor of Osun. If the internal wrangling in the Osun State PDP is not resolved, they may not pick the right candidate for the election.

After the 2011 election, there is going to be agitation for a new state from the present Osun. Ijebu State is coming out of Ogun. A new state is coming out of Lagos but not at this time.

Niger Delta
The issue of militancy in Niger Delta is not over yet. Another set of militants will soon emerge.

House of Representatives
The House of Representatives will continue having crises until (Dimeji) Bankole is removed. Both (federal) legislative houses will come up with controversial bills that will cause confusion in the country. The present lawmakers will not carry out a good Constitution amendment. Another set of lawmakers will amend the Constitution that Nigerians will accept. A national conference that will negotiate Nigeria’s future is on the way.
Elders of the Christian Association of Nigeria should leave the running of CAN to the youths. A reform is coming to CAN and we should pray against another religious crisis. If it is not prevented with prayers, the crisis will leave the country devastated.

Entertainment and education sectors
There will be crisis in ANTP (Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners) that will last for about eight years. The body will witness a lot of changes. Another faction will emerge from the present ANTP that will bear another name. We need to pray very well so that we don’t lose a respected artiste this year.
The policy makers will change our educational system. The 6-3-3-4 system will be changed as well as the university education system.

Nigerians want sia1 and NFF must give us weather they will call on Glo or Mtn this tym i dont wanna know.

Reading all the comments here, one can clearly see how divided and confused a country Nigeria is. We are NEVER satisfied with anything. Always have a reason to complain, in all areas. Even if we win the world cup, some people will still have something negative to say. I have known that through nairaland long long time ago.

Wait until NFF tell him to buzz off that they don't have the money, then he would be the one begging them to take him.

With all these hypes surrounding him, he's setting himself up for a big fall and i pray it doesn't happen.

Egypt 2010 is still fresh in our memories.
SiaSia is the man. I think The negotiation will continue till an agreable cost is reached. If he delivers the next CAN Cup then he has every right to review his price but till then he should not go so high neither so cheap shaa.

IMO Siasia is not wicked neither is he greedy, he knows what he is doing, and I am very confident he will make a good coach, besides he is not begging for the job, nigerians want him to take over as eagles boss, its long overdue, if not for man know man system that runs in NFF, He is with Heartland FC, do anybody here know how much they pay him? He doesnt come cheap, unlike Amodu or any other former super chickens coach, they remain JOBLESS and out of sight if they are not managing the super chickens, Siasia still have a contract with Heartland FC, where is Amodu? Amodu will be willing to take over the job for a mere 200,000 a month, because him no get choice, he will even beg the NFF to give him the job, he will start licking their foot just to get the job. This is the first time i have heard a nigerian Coach force the NFF to set up a committee to have further discussion with Siasia (for a good reason). NFF MUST give Siasia the job, its an order from above, nobody will like to get burnt, give us siasia and stop the long story, afterall you thieves paid Lager Bear more than that to smile for us on our tv in SA. Siasia stick to your demand, "our people say soup wey sweet na money cook am" but you fit still pity us small reduce to like 7-10milla

In Siasia I trust
@ MeGaStReEt
Yes i think I concur with your opinion about the subject of discussion, Amodu would have agreed 150k monthly salary plus taking bribe from Yakubu & co. so as
to play for the super chicken

Good news I think Siasia deserved everything he is demanding for, a coach in his class should not just jump at any scrap offer or package
tabled by the nff, if it were to be a white coach the nff will not think twice to agree with all his terms, Sia1 ask for whatever you want from them and it shall be
given unto thee huh?
SportsSiasia Wants N15m Per Month To Coach Eagles by MRMoneyE(op): 12:42am On Aug 13, 2010
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Samson Siasia meeting ended in a stalemate Wednesday night as they could not finalize what the take home pay of the new manager the Super Eagles will be.

Daily Sunsport can report exclusively that after they agreed to offer Siasia a four-year deal that would culminate in his taking the Super Eagles to the Africa Nations Cup and World Cup, talks broke down when the national Under-23 team’s former coach tabled his financial demands to the executive committee of the NFF.

An impeccable source close to the NFF disclosed that Siasia asked to be paid N15 million monthly and One million USD as sign on fees aside an official quarters and an official car.
The NFF told him that his demand was too much and far out of what they could afford, explaining to him that the foreign coaches who were employed in the last three years were paid by GLO and PTF.

“We told him that that he had to reduce his demands drastically if he really wanted to coach the Super Eagles as the NFF cannot afford such huge amount. He refused to shift ground and we had to excuse him to leave since he was travelling with Heartland FC of Owerri for an African Champions league match in Egypt.

“In principle, we have agreed to give him the job but we shall continue the negotiation on his salary and sign on fee when he comes back from Egypt. I must also tell you that he impressed us at the discussion and we believe he would deliver, if he agrees to tour terms” our source said.

NFF Vice President, Obinna Ogba, told an Abuja radio station after the meeting last Wednesday that a three-man committee had been set up to meet with Siasia to finalize the negotiation with him when he returns and gets back to the board.

Siena:
My opinion?

The Landrover Freelander 1 all run K-series Rover I4 and V6 engines. This has always been an issue with Rovers. The K-series motors are far from durable. The all-aluminium cylinder block and head don't seal properly, and blown gaskets are all too common. In most cases, the block and head are also damaged, with cracks evident in the head, and the block / steel liners.

They are problematic in the UK and Europe, I dread to think what your car will be like in Nigeria's much hotter climate. I would advice you to sell your car, and buy something else to ship to Nigeria, or better still, buy one when you get there. The problems with the Rover K-series engines cannot be over stressed. I've rebuilt more K-series engines than I care to remember, I wouldn't recommend one.

Best of luck.
@ siena
Thank you very much for your candid advice and opinion, i think you have finished the job for me,

I think you should follow your mind, Any car dat you want to bring to Nigeria, just make sure that you have money to convert it, No car that they can not convert in Nigeria perfectly but you know that freelander is a big car, the parts that they will buy to do the conversion will be expensive compares to the two cars you posted here yesterday, And secondly the maintainance of this car is somethin else but if you have been usin it in Uk and you maintain it very well over there, definatelly you can maintain it in Naija very well, even beta,

Good luck.
Thank you for your advice that is the essence of this tread, alhough a friend that just got his own converted  in 9ja told me it costs him 50k.
but am interested in the area of maintainance how cheap or costly it is to meantain the freelander ,

Hellow fellow Nairalanders, we are planning to bring this Landrover Freelander jeep to 9ja for personal use,
Although, its a right hand drive but we need to ask about people's experience, opinion and idea about this jeep if we should just sell it here in UK,
or we should bring it to 9ja, We need your advice in these areas=
1) Can this jeep cope with the condition of nigerian roads.
2) Is the spare parts readily available in 9ja market,
3) The convertion of the jeep to left hand can it be done with less hassle,
As you have been doing helping people with your experience and personal encounters so I want everybody to contribute
to this tread no matter how small your contribution is it will go along way in making a crucial decisions.
Thanks,

You can not ship it direct to Nigerian port because RHD is not legally permitted in Nigerian port, you have to ship it via Cotonuo's port and clear it down to Lagos, secondly,if you want to convert it to LHD in Lagos, they will convert it perfectly for you here,

Nice cars My choice will be the S60, great car, I have an S80 and i love it, used to own a honda accord.
Considering the fact that it's RHD tho' there might be issues with conversion,
I know it'll be a lot easier to convert the Honda, the Volvo, you'll need very good hands for that.
I'm sure you'll get a competent workshop in Lagos, will cost a lot tho' i'm sure it'll cost more to convert the volvo.

Bottom line, since you'll spend more time here in Nigeria, pick the one you love to drive the most, if that happens to be the volvo, get a good workshop to get the conversion done and i believe you should be ok.

All the best.
@ Kamikazeem
The volvo is what i intend bringing to 9ja my fear is all about the conversion, as we all know that honda as good reputation in that regard.
