Tonto Dikeh has accused Churchill of paying money to some people to make her look like a liar after she accused him of domestic violence. She also accused some of her friends of selling her out for money.

Commenting on a post on Linda Ikeji's Blog, Tonto said "the pain of being called a liar after speaking up and walking away from an abusive marriage/relationship is the worse kind it cuts deep". She said this while advising an LIB reader who told of how she was abused by her ex-husband but no one believed her when she told the story.

In my case, my ex paid his way to making me a liar and In the process, people I thought will be there sold me out for money and favor. How men lie about being abusive beats me. Thank GOD everyday for his mercies and the strength to move away from that which was meant to destroy us. On domestic violence allegations
She claimed I beat her but at that moment, I wasn’t at home – I was in Ghana. I tried to protect my family but she made things difficult. She’s not someone you can beat! All her allegations were planned to bring me down.

The incident that happened in my mum’s house was on December 20, 2016. She had a charity event on December 22 but there was no evidence of beatings on her body. You can Google online to see the dates’ intervals about her ‘road fixing’ in Abuja. As far as I am concerned, I’ve not touched her before. Maybe, it’s her spiritual husband that beat her up. She’s super hyper so I had to stay calm in our marriage. She’s stubborn so you can’t beat her." "She had no evidence, no eyewitness, or even a medical report to back her allegations.
Of cheques and gifts
Contrary to claims by Tonto Dikeh that she bought their family car by herself, Olakunle disclosed that he gave a $28,000 cheque to his ex-wife as a gift. Not just that, he added a push gift last Christmas. I gave her a 10 million Naira (approximately $28,000) cheque as a gift on Christmas and in addition showered her with a push present. I have a copy of the cheque with me so she should prove me wrong.

Arsene Wenger has admitted Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil could be sold in January.

The Arsenal pair, whose deals at the Emirates expire in the summer, are both yet to sign new contracts with the club and as a result could leave for nothing at the end of the season.

And Wenger admits with talks remaining at an impasse there is a chance both could be sold in the winter transfer window.

The alarm bells were ringing after successive defeats to Stoke and then Liverpool. But Arsene Wenger’s side bounced back and held Chelsea to a draw at Stamford Bridge.

“In our situation, we have envisaged every solution. It is possible,” he said when asked at his weekly press conference whether either or both could leave the club in January.

Ozil has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce while Jose Mourinho is keen to bring him to Manchester United but Wenger insists the German wants to stay with the Gunners.

“It is my understanding [that he wants to stay],” he added. “At the moment, we are not close enough to announce anything.”

Sanchez meanwhile saw his Chile side crash out of World Cup qualifying with defeat to Brazil with the 28-year-old coming in for some physical treatment.

Wenger’s side face Watford and the Frenchman is keen to speak to his star man on his return to ascertain whether he’ll be fit enough to feature at Vicarage Road.

“I will have to speak to him,” Wenger said. “Yesterday, I watched the whole game and I must say he got some special treatment.

Seven out of the 13 monkey pox patients on admission at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri in Bayelsa have fully recovered, the state Commissioner for Information, Mr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, has said.

A patient of Monkey Pox The commissioner said in a statement on Wednesday in Yenagoa, that the seven patients had been discharged from the hospital. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the contagious disease broke out three weeks ago in Agbura area of Yenagoa following reports that a family manifested symptoms of monkey pox after eating monkey meat.

He said the six other patients under medical surveillance at the teaching hospital were responding positively to treatment. “The government has been able to successfully contain the spread of the disease as no new case has been reported in the last few days.

“With the way and manner government deployed its machinery and with the team of dedicated health and medical personnel, monkey pox will soon be fully kicked out of Bayelsa state,” he added. Iworiso-Markson commended the state Ministry of Health and National Centre for Disease Control for their efforts in containing the disease. The commissioner also appreciated people in the state for taking preventive measures against further spread of the disease and urged them to maintain healthy lifestyle, environmental and personal hygiene.

According to him, feedback received from various channels in the state indicates that public enlightenment campaign, especially in local languages, have succeeded in alerting people to avoid actions that would further spread the disease.

So I got robbed last night .... YES.... l'm fine, I just have little cuts from the pieces of the broken glass .........NOPE ....they didn't take nothing ...... It all happened really fast ....I just left the studio at Ilupeju and was about climbing the thirdmainland to head back home ( you know that part of the bridge you either turn to Anthony or head on to the bridge) anyways .....I just look up to my back mirror and I notice ,I see this person running behind,there is traffic ,so we were moving slowly,it was just like eightish ...... I turn to ask my pa if he can see the person running behind us ....... Next thing I just feel someone strangling me ,trying to grab my chain ,trying to reach out to get my phones....my Pa starts hitting him and screaming .... ...... Meanwhile the other robber is at the other side trying to get my pa to wind down .......next thing they are gone (then that's when people start winding down asking if am okay )........... This literally happened in thirty seconds or so ........ P.s am so grateful ,he didn't use whatever he used to break the glass on my face or any part of my body for that matter ..... Because he literally broke the glass in one second .... Shudders ..... P.s..p.s..... Just please help me thank God.... Am so so grateful .......

Management and staff of the National Youth Service Corps as well as serving Corps members nationwide are mourning three corps member who died in Nasarawa State last Sunday.

In a statment signed by the management of the scheme, two of the deceased, Oguntola Wasiu Babatunde (NS/16B/4044) and Danjuma Jamil Salihu (NS/16B/0175), died as a result of drowning in a river at Assakio in Lafia East Development Area, where they had gone swimming.

Another deceased corps member, Memunat Ahmad Yarwa (NS/16B/4280), died from complications during childbirth.

According to the statement, "the scheme grieves over the loss of the heroes, especially coming when they were in their primes and contributing towards strengthening unity and national development.

They will continue to be remembered for their patriotic zeal, selflessness and dedication to the service of our fatherland."

Management also announced the release of another Corps member, Nwankpa Blessing, who was kidnapped in Nasarawa State.

The statement stated that the corps member was in good health, and was being given all the necessary physical and psychological support.

Management of the scheme thanked the Nasarawa State Police Command for effecting the rescue of the Corps member.

Nollywood actress, Juliet Okeke, has shared a collage of his brother who survived the explosion at a gas station in Ghana, recuperating in the hospital.

The tanker explosion at a gas station reportedly killed 6 people leaving 35 others injured in explosions at Atomic Junction, near Legon, Accra, Ghana on Saturday night.

National Fire Service spokesman Billy Anaglatey, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, said:

“As we speak, six people are dead due to this fire,” he said, adding that 35 were injured by the Saturday night explosions. Four of the 35 are in critical condition at the intensive care unit of the 37 Military Hospital.

The cause of the explosions is being investigated, said Anaglatey. On Sunday morning, burned steel frames show where the two gas stations were razed by the explosions.

“Some people said there were flames in the skies, l looked and saw the flames and was convinced something terrible had happened,” said James Appiah, a resident of North Legon.
