This is the photo that has gotten people
seriously talking online.

The photo shows a couple about to get
married. However what caused a stir is the
stark difference between the bride and groom.
While the bride is a beautiful lady, who is tall
and sparkly, the groom on his part, is a
crippled young man balanced delicately onthe
ground.

The young lady is wearing a wedding gown and
holding the hand of her man as they walk,
accompanied by several people, obviously to
where the wedding was taking place.

However, the look on the lady's face has
caused some confusion as it appears to be
gloomy.

This is the viral photo which has gotten many
people confused on social media.

The photo shows a man and a woman
obviously enacting a marriage proposal scene
but something obviously appears wrong with
the whole enactment.

Apparently, during a marriage proposal, the
conventional thing is that the man has to kneel
down and ask for his future wife's hand in
marriage while she will then be left to either
say yes or no to him.

However, this time around, the woman is the
one who is kneeling down while the man is
seen holding her fingers, obviously putting a
ring on one of them.

At first, one might be tempted to think this is
not a wedding proposal afterall but some
activity the two of them are engaged in but
then there is a huge banner behind the kneeling
woman on which is written "WILL YOU MARRY
ME?" and is held by witnesses of the rather
weird ceremony.

Social media users have since commented on
the ceremony with differing views.
Some people feel that the couple simply
wanted to do something different and cause a
scene on social media.

However, some others feel the woman must
have been tired of being alone and had forced
the man into proposing by buying the ring
herself. They insist she was too excited that
she had knelt down instead of the man.

And yet, others feel that the man is simply
a male chauvinist who could not bear the
thought of kneeling down in front of a woman
and so had instructed his girlfriend to kneel at
the occassion.

morality seems to have been thrown to the

It looks like Starboy chief, Wizkid is patching
things up with his second babymama, Binta in
his bid to keep his family together.

Some All Progressives Supporters have been
attacked while celebrating the victory they
claimed in the rerun election in the state.

Four people were allegedly hit by bullets as All
Progressives Congress members celebrated on
the streets after winning some of the seats in
the state. Things didn't go as planned as the
people were attacked.

It is not yet known who the shooters were, but
many were left injured in the process.

Actress, Ini Edo has taken to her Instagram to
reveal that she was meant to be at the
Reigners Church for their programme, but all
efforts to get to Uyo on time was both delayed
and futile.

The actress who is full of thanks and gratitude
to God wrote:

2 days ago,I was very bitter about the
unreliable nature of some of our airlines
cancelling flights without prior notice thereby
hindering my plans to attend a church service
ceremony held in uyo Now out of
determination, I took a flight to calabar with the
hope of being in uyo just in time for the
service since the journey between calabar and
uyo was just about an hour. The journey ended
up taking over 7hrs because of an
unexplainable traffic.
No accident, good road no hitches just a
headlock traffic. Whilst in the car, I started
wondering why all my efforts to be at the
service was being thwarted… then I got a call,
that the entire church building had collapsed
during the course of the service

…. Once again, God had saved me..
My heart goes out to the families of the
departed..may the good Lord grant them the
heart to bear the loss.
Everyday we see is a blessing..it’s not
because we are special or better..It’s the
exceeding Grace of our Lord Jesus.Iam so
humbled and grateful to God for preserving
me… Happy thanksgiving…..

Fran, the estranged British wife of actor, Yomi
Fabiyi, has said that the actor didn’t marry her
in order to get his green card.

Before now, Yomi Fabiyi had announced via his
social media pages that he was divorcing Fran,
whom he had been with for about four years.
The actor stated among other things that the
main reason he was separating from his wife
was because they could not agree on where to
live together as husband and wife.

According to Fabiyi, the plan they had before
marriage was that his wife would move to
Nigeria but she later developed cold feet and
this led to a crack in their relationship.

He posted on his Instagram page, “It’s so sad
that a lot of people never give me the benefit
of the doubt. Only a handful think it is right to
respect my freedom of choice. I have been
unlucky in life, most of what I do normally have
opposite impression irrespective of my positive
mindset. I cannot help it and will rather prefer
to continue to be as real as possible, I am
used to being misinterpreted my entire adult
life. I never aim to hurt anybody in words or
actions before them or behind them. I am never
raised that way. Hopefully Fran accepts my
proposition to end this marriage now as I
cannot continue this way, I am not happy
anymore as we edge close to the 4th year
anniversary. Fran is such a beautiful woman,
supportive and wish I come live in England,
take up employment and study. I have used
her documents to renew my normal visa only,
so no question she is not willing, I never said
that. With all humility, if she never promised
me she was coming to take up employment in
Nigeria and live with me, maybe we might not
have secured the dating. I have made it
abundantly clear I am not prepared to live
abroad as my career was just gathering shape
then. I am focused on my career and keeping
my fans and admirers entertained. I have an
absolute right to do whatever makes me happy
provided it is nothing criminal, illegal, immoral
or anti-social. I am NOT interested in the
reason two adults came together. It’s crude
and an uncivilised thing to do for me. I hope to
find true love again while I push for a hitch-free
divorce as soon as possible. I will be fine
guys.”

Both friends and foes had insinuated that the
actor married his oyinbo wife in order to
legalise his stay in the UK.

However, when saturday beat placed a call
across to Fran in England, she sounded
unhappy about the divorce but seemed to have
resigned to fate. She told Saturday Beats that
she was very sure her husband did not marry
her because of a green card. When asked if
she was still in love with her husband, she
replied in the affirmative.

“I am still in love with my husband but we
cannot keep living this way. I wish there was
another way we could go about it but there is
none. It is true that I agreed to relocate to
Nigeria after marriage but plans changed and I
cannot relocate from England. I understand that
my husband cannot also move to England but
we cannot keep living like this for the rest of
our lives. I am very sure that he married me
because he loved me and not for any green
card. If he wanted a green card, he could have
married a British-Nigerian or any other race,”
she said.

Policemen in Uganda took to the streets
wearing women's shoes to the consternation
of many who could not understand why.

Ugandan policemen took to the streets wearing
women's shoes in solidarity with the 'Walk a
Mile in Her Shoes' campaign aimed at ending
rape, sexual abuse and violence against
women.

The men were praised on social media for the
gesture.

The event is an international march against
rape and sexual assault and violence against
women. Police partnered with women rights
civil society organizations to fight gender
based violence.
