He is either lying or he doesn't have enough info about the battery pack. I once posted the spec sheet here, the recommended charge current for Haisic is less than 0.15c. That should tell you all you need to know

Guys i found these guys on TikTok. They claim their batteries are grade A and their prices are very good.

You probably have something against Deriy. Deriy makes pack with most of the popular cells and they are all brand new. Many have been able to pull full capacity from it too (3.5v - 3.0v).
As for Hithium cells, they are specifically built for Ess and they also quote longer life cycle for their cells.

investing 1.8m or 1.9m for a Hithuim 48v pack to a Chinese in far away China and waiting for 3months,doesn't make any sense. what if there is serious shipping delays or something happens
getting Valto's Eve 48v pack for 2.2m within 24hrs of payment is far far better.

I have seen it many times. Sako 5.5kva, I used Jinko 450w x4 and the yield was below 10% till I added 2 more panels.

That wouldn't limit his output to 500w, though. Don't think I've seen an MPPT that requires higher than 120v startup, which his panels supply.

If the cc in that inverter is >=100a, the problem is insufficient voltage. You need to add more panels to move closer to the mppt range

Guys, I installed 3 units of 48v ( Max) 600watts Africell solar panels connected in series on a 3.5KVA Wellion Hybrid inverter. The display on the inverter shows an open circuit voltage of 132V and the highest power output I have gotten is 500watts even when the sun is brightest. What could be wrong ?

If you can afford to spend the total here, here is a better option
There is a brand "Haisic" that sells
25.6v 8kwh for 800k (as contained in their spec sheet, it's a Grade B battery)
24v 4kva transformerless inverter 340-350k
590w Jinko panel x4 is better
6mm cable, breakers, SPD and the box will cost you less than 160k if you are staying in a bungalow and will be installing the system close to your DB

Many will also argue that they have seen more damaged Indian inverters.
Since the felicity 5kva price is very close to the growatt, Growatt is a better option here. You only have to tell your installer to reconnect your panels to series

I was already using Kartel 5kva inverter but it got spoiled, so I want to change it. I was told Felicity are china product, so they are not as strong as Su-kam which are Indian products. (I also read that Su-kam work load is higher than Felicity)

In addition, these are most likely the earlier generations of life po4 cells with shorter life span and higher IR.
Why would anyone want to buy a used battery for that amount when they can just add 100-150k for a newer pack with longer life span.

Unfortunately you will keep reducing the price because lifepo4 batteries do not have resale value.

If a lithium battery is on resale hardly will it be because of a good reason (like former owner relocating abroad) most times it because it has been used satisfactorily by the owner and has most likely even faded to a lower ah.

Did the power situation in Nigeria improve all of a sudden that someone will want to sell his/her lithium battery.

Looking at the batteries if I were to guess, (I maybe wrong) these were previously used by a telecommunications company maybe for mast power backup, in whatever case, they were heavily used by a company.

Huawei lifepo4 are also not diy friendly, so I suggest you recycle those batteries and not market what a buyer will most likely regret.

If you want to actually sell that, buy a junktek or victron shunt and do a capacity test. Then actually show us the capacity test results. That way any buyer can be well informed of what he/she will be getting.

Anything outside that suggestion please go and recycle that battery.
