My partners and I am starting a Budget car rental business in Lagos and i need people who can be marketing partners. By partners we mean we would be working TOGETHER. You are not working for me, You are working for YOU.

We don't pay a salary, We pay a commission that is worthwhile provided you know what you are doing.

We are looking for 2 guys and 3 ladies based in Lagos.

The marketing is done from the convenience of an office apartment close to Surulere or you can choose to work from home if you wish.

Same office space can double as your office space for whatever personal business you are running ( Provided it is legal), that is possible.


It is not a 9-5, and on some days you may not necessarily be doing anything for us.

By that I mean I would have to train you on how to properly represent us. Afterwards we would see if you are up to the task, and if you are we would continue working with you.

Pictures of some historic sites in Nigeria

As a patriotic Nigerian Entrepreneur from the South Western part of Nigeria, I have noticed a disturbing trend. Most Nigerians do not go for well packaged tours within the country. Some do not even go on vacation at all.

Some individuals especially the so called middle class or upper class prefer to travel abroad from July to September (so called summer period). Local tourist attractions are usually neglected. This trend is driving away a lot of investors.
The fact is the typical Nigerian man or woman is ready to pay for quality service. Some travel and tour operators take advantage of this and organise regular tours (well packaged) to Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Isreal and some Western countries.
The patronizers are from the upper middle and upper classes that turn up their noses at Nigerian tourist sites whereas the people who need vacation and recreation the most are in the high density areas. (Just pay a visit to LTV8, NTA or TVC premises in December or Bar Beach during the festive period or any beach in Lagos from the 2nd week in December till the last day of December).
We want to package quality, interesting and educative tour packages specifically for the regular Nigerian citizen. The good news is that we have lots of wonderful tourist sites in virtually every state in Nigeria. We plan to take people from Lagos to other states in the South West like Osun state where people can visit a Zoo with exotic animals like Lions, Hyena, Ostrich, Snakes, nice birds etc. From the Zoo, they will visit places like the Palace of the Ooni of Ife, the museum, the Oromiyan site, the lovely Erin Ijesha water falls etc.

We will provide good transportation
We can also have affordable plans for children in Primary and Secondary schools.
Honey moon packages etc also available.
We can also include hotel accomodation, feeding, taxi pick up from your home to the departure point etc.
The concept will be fun, relaxation and royal treatment at an affordable price so we are doing some preliminary market research. Please answer the following questions as truthfully as possible.

1. Would you be willing to visit some states in Yoruba land like: Osun, Oyo, Ondo etc?
2. How much would you be willing to pay for a well packaged tour of 1 or 2days. Weekends only? *Affordable*
3. Will you be willing to visit other historic sites in the East, South South, North etc?
4. We intend to publicize this through social media. Will you willingly follow the exploits and the adventure online?
5. Will you like to book and pay online before the tour or in a physical office or cash to the tour operator just before take off?
6. For those outside Lagos, will you like a well packaged tour to Lagos where u will get a feel of the Lagos life and visit some nice places?

The audience may have a passive role, as in the case of persons watching a play, opera, television show, or film; or the audience role may be active, as in the case of games, where the participant/audience roles may be routinely reversed. Entertainment can be public or private, involving formal, scripted performance, as in the case of theatre or concerts; or unscripted and spontaneous, as in the case of children's games. Most forms of entertainment have persisted over many centuries, evolving due to changes in culture, technology, and fashion. Films and video games, for example, although they use newer media, continue to tell stories, present drama, and play music. Festivals devoted to music, film, or dance allow audiences to be entertained over a number of consecutive days.

Some activities that once were considered entertaining, particularly public punishments, have been removed from the public arena. Others, such as fencing or archery, once necessary skills for some, have become serious sports and even professions for the participants, at the same time developing into entertainment with wider appeal for bigger audiences. In the same way, other necessary skills, such as cooking, have developed into performances among professionals, staged as global competitions and then broadcast for entertainment. What is entertainment for one group or individual may be regarded as work by another.

Safety Tips

If you can, choose a cab with good reputation (kind of obvious, isn't it?).

Take a look at the driver, if you don't feel safe, wave the tax away before you get in it. There will always be another cab (unless it's midnight or you're in a remote part of the city). If you can, take a deep look at the driver's eyes. If you're sensitive enough, usually you can feel a threat if there is one. Trust your guts on this, because your life might depend on it.

After you decide to get into the cab, take the seat BEHIND the driver (as opposed to next to the driver). The reasons are:
a. You have the control, because he can't see you as clearly.
b. There have been cases where someone hides on the trunk (or boot), and comes out to attack the passenger after the taxi is moving. By sitting in the back seat, you can watch the seat next to you. If it begins to open, quickly slam it back shut, and scream at the driver and get out of the taxi as quickly as possible.

Sit on the left side of the back seat ... not behind the driver. There have been cases where the driver pushed his seat back and trapped people sitting right behind him.

Lock the doors as soon as you get it with a resounding click ... this tells the driver in no uncertain terms that you are aware of and knowledgeable about your safety.

Chat with the driver a bit so he knows you are not a newcomer and know your way around. They may think all foreigners are unsuspecting, unknowing newcomers and are much less likely to try to rob someone who can demonstrate that they know their way around.

BEFORE the taxi moves, check your door. Can you open it from inside? If not, tell the driver to stop ... and unlock the child's lock on the inside of the door jam ... OR ... consider taking a different taxi.
During the drive, pay attention to where the driver takes you. If he's driving into a dark, remote area, COMPLAIN RIGHT AWAY. Depending on the reply you get, prepare to act.

Note the plate number of the cab and send to a close friend or relative if possible.

Remember that noise draws crowds quickly. If you are having a problem with a taxi driver - quickly roll down the windows and yell to attract attention. Chances are people will assist you.
Most of all, use common sense.
