It is HIGHLY unlikely for AFRICAN men period not to desire children ESPECIALLY if they do not have children of their own.  It is customary for the men to have boy children.  There is a VERY IOTA chance the man in question doesn't want anymore children since he has a daughter but the fact that he has no son is a little questionable, Maybe. 

I know for a fact when it comes to child bearing and production according to African men mantra, age is essential.  I can count on one hand the amount of  African men that I know in the States married to women that past their child bearing age.  Not one of them are Nigerians.

I have girlfriends, male friends, family members, coworkers, school mates, and neighbors that are either Africans, married to an African male or female, or used to date/was married to Africans every last one of them made it CLEAR: Family, Marriage, and Children are the true African way and exactly in that order. 

The African men in the States that are looking to marry are chasing YOUNG WOMEN and wants children upon marriage.  In the States, you will find many African families and individuals at family functions or events.  I was approached by my husband at a family event which I was planning to go the movies with friends and ended up spending the day with my husband. 

Just like Jaybee said, my husband went for the kill.  Most African men are like that I know and they do not waste any time when it comes to hunting.

I do not think that every African men are out to get foreign women to escape poverty.
