Supposing you are a judge, would you sentence a pickpocket to death for pickpocketing? Do you think a god who claims to be just would curse unborn generations because of the disobedience of two people?

In a country with a good justice system, the law makes sure everyone gets good justice. A thief who stole a purse and is sentenced to death based on that crime cannot be said to have got good justice. A god who will burn a man in hell forever for committing a crime for like 70 years is not a just god but a wicked and heartless one. It is like killing a man for stealing Maggi.

I have a son who I love very much. I sometimes educate my son using obstacles but I can never imagine asking my son to choose between life and death. If I had the powers, I will protect my son from death, from anything that will seperate us. When I punish my son, I do it with love and consideration for his health. No matter how angry he may get me or no matter how many times he annoys me, I can never kill my son. Even with all these, I still sometimes feel as if I am not doing enough. That I am not a very good father.

Now, as a father, how do you expect me to see any value in the god portrayed in the Bible?

If you do and don't the above which I suppose,same with Yahweh. He gave man the book of the law to follow and would judge man from that same book.

Well, this message has been around even before Jesus, as claimed by the Bible, flew into heaven. There is no difference between your message here and the ones I heard, watched and read about in the 90s. It is still the same message of fear, condemnation, white angels and black demons. I can't understand why any God will use threats to make people believe in him. That is coercion and not real love.
