Jealousy and Trust is TWO DIFFERENT THINGS,

I may be jealous of the newcomer in the office because I'm afraid that he or she is going to take my job, because I see qualities in that person that I don't see in myself. Or I may be afraid that my wife or girlfriend is going to like this new man she just met better than she likes me, again because of qualities that I see in that person that I don't see in myself.

On a more serious note, Men handle rejection better while doing the chase. But in relationships, men tend to do a whole lot that women put up with. Girls date guys who are already with other women, are rejected or say,neglected at some point and still stay in the relationship whereas men might not be able to take half of that.In this case, women handle it better.

I have said that self esteems had to do with INNER SELF REFLECTION where rejection is where a person turn down or do not accept the offers given, Women have issues with inner self reflections, not men. Men have issues with not being needed or wanted IE rejection.

People keep confusing the degree of rejection with simply asking a woman out, there are many level of degrees of rejection, there are:

Assistance offer
Marriage proposal offer
Childbirth offers (husband or boyfriend asking wife or girlfriend for children)
Habitation offer (moving in together)
Courtship offer (date/relationship)

Men biologically designed to PROTECT AND SERVE and when being rejected on areas of needs and wants they do not accept that rejection well. Therefore have harder time adapting which the poster made a good point about women put up with so much whereas men put up with half or nothing therefore how can men handle rejection better than women?
