[quote author=CampusAi post=139532493]Good day Nairalanders, Parents, and Students.
There is a highly disturbing 48-second video making waves across social media right now, and it has sparked a massive debate on the state of discipline and moral standards in Nigerian secondary schools.
According to the reports and viral clips, a group of final-year SS3 students were caught on camera actively grappling, clashing, and allegedly fighting with adult staff and teachers outside an unnamed secondary school.
The video clearly shows intense physical altercations, with some of the adults trying to defend themselves with canes while the students aggressively push back.
As expected, netizens are completely divided on this:
One side is completely disgusted, calling for immediate mass expulsions, arrests, and total prosecution of the students involved for utter disrespect and physical assault.
The other side is questioning the teachers' methods, arguing that extreme, toxic corporal punishment or provocation might have pushed the students to a breaking point where they decided to violently fight back.
Let's talk about it: Where do we draw the line between maintaining strict school discipline and pushing students to the point of violent resistance? If you were the principal or the parent of one of those students, what would be your immediate action?
mincing words. This most probably happened in South West. |

Politics › Re: Peter Ogbudu's Birthday Message To Tinubu Goes Viral by MrSly(m): 7:35am On May 28 |
HacheNoire: How do you expect the government to take Peter Ogbudu serious?
Should I remind you that Peter Ogbudu was a drug addict that was rehabilitated in the United Kingdom, and previously spent TEN years in a psychiatric home in Lagos, Nigeria?
Y’all expect the government to react to everything but never consider the mental status of the messenger! Do you mean to say that what Peter said was not true but spoken out of mental instability? Do you mean that the Oyo teacher beheaded in cold blood is nothing to concern ordinary Nigerians? That all the children in captivity are nothing serious? That kidnapping and terrorism which claim lives daily in nigeria are nothing and should be ignored? Do you mean that Nigerians who could not afford a meal a day do not matter? Are sure you are okay at all? I doubt you are ever sane. |
Politics › Re: 2026 Numbers That Prove That Nigerian Opposition Parties Are Not Serious (Photo) by MrSly(m): 5:57pm On May 27 |
FreeStuffsNG: The parties have conducted their primaries and elected their flag bearers for 2027 Presidential election slated for January, 2027; less than 8 months away.
The results are clear evidence that the opposition political parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) are unserious and unprepared despite having 4 long years to give Nigeria's democracy credible opposition, which is the hallmark of democracy.
Nigeria opposition political parties failed woefully. I am so ashamed of them.
I have started thinking that it is the right thing to do for every Nigerian to reject them and all their candidate across board in all the elective offices, not only in presidential poll, to express their disappointment.
Are you as upset as I am? Baseless and rubbish figure. This amuputa is worse than yakubu. Thank God we saw him in time. |

If you thought you knew where President Tinubu’s strongest political backing comes from, these 2027 APC primary figures might make you rethink everything. Look at the math: The North-west alone delivered 2.71 million votes—nearly double what the South-west or North-central brought to the table. And looking at the states, Adamawa pulled more weight for the President in this primary than traditional strongholds like Kano or Katsina! Are we looking at a complete re-balancing of the APC political map, or is this exactly what you expected? Let’s talk in the comments! 👇 Where does your state stand on this list? 🇳🇬 Let me know!

As if we don't know it is desperate lust for Igbo presidency that is making you create all kind of wild fantasies about Tinubu losing because you believe Obi will be the benefactor of that scenario.
Same Obi you all cursed while he was Anambra Governor. Tinubu ks a failed president. He was never wanted by Nigerians and till now even more p Nigerians detest him. He won't sti win 2027 election. The question is if he can rug himself in as he did in 2027. |

Buhari in 1984 shut down the Metroline that the government of Lateef Jakande proposed for Lagos. 2. Some Nigerians are today criticizing the Coaster Road and the Lagos, Sokoto Road. We need to support transformative project irrespective if whether we like the government in power or not. It's our resources, it out life time How much is the cost of the coastal road owe kilometer? Can you comprehend it? To unusual govt is corrupt and uses overly inflated cost of project to enrich themselves. Nigerians are aware and so they no longer enjoy the trust of the people hence the reaction they receive. Again they have misplaced priorities. How many Chinese people are beheaded after being kidnapped from school? How many are sacked from their community? Does ghost drive on coastal high way. |

wildcatter23: RELATIONSHIP IS NOT FOR THE WEAK🤦🤦
I went to a restaurant this evening to get food for my girlfriend.
After getting the food and just as I was about to leave, I saw two lovers arguing.
I asked the girl what the issue was, and she explained that they had also come to get food.
Their bill was supposed to be ₦8,300, but the waiter mistakenly charged them ₦7,800, which the guy paid.
As they were about to leave, she noticed the mistake and told her boyfriend to go back and pay the remaining balance, but he refused.
That disagreement eventually led to their breakup.
Is that enough to warrant a breakup?
What do you guys think?
Was the lady loyal to the guy? The break up was not because of ₦500. The guy is insincere, a cheat and untrustworthy. Lacking integrity and strength of character. There is no lady with reasonable prospect that would settle for such ghetto product. |
