Why give N30B to 36 States plus FCT? That's huge enough to subsidize fuel for the masses and solve more than half of the problem facing the country. Selfish people enriching themselves at the detriment of the citizens.

Dear Nairalanders and supporters of how "credible" this recruitment selection was, this is to remind you all that the said successful candidates have neither been posted to schools/work nor received 1 Kobo since this Media propaganda almost a year later. It's obvious we have short memories and no wonder Nigerian politicians take us for granted.

Southerners doing business in the North pay tax, buy land and build shops and residential houses or rent shops and where they live. What do Fulani herdsmen do in the South? Do they buy grasses to feed their animals or land to settle down or ranch their animals? Do they pay tax?

We allowed y'all to come and do business in the North without discrimination, but you don't allow single northerner to live in the SE and SS only few in South West. Anyways is find with us, cus multiculturalism is the best way.

Shame on both of you,
Typical tribal jargons on a daily basis.

Don't mind those bitter boys.
They are nothing but kill joy.

Make dem collectii abegii.....

Some of you just come online to vomit rubbish all in the name of "supposed tribal diatribe and patriotism". If you have been in the north, you will understand that tribe and religion are both important factors for any favour, be it in the form of appointments or whatever... I know individuals who scored 98% , 88% etc in the said CBT exam and answered three questions correctly during the interview but they were not offered appointments and of course the reason is not far fetched.
Politics / The Irony Of A United And Indivisible Country by MrSocrate(m): 10:10am On Jun 06, 2021
THE IRONY OF A UNITED AND INDIVISIBLE COUNTRY.

A country filled with hatred and divisions, bitterness and suspicions, unforgiveness and fear of ethnic domination in both the young and old, the living and the dead from generation to generation is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where "unity" is more sanctimonious than human lives but the politicians "fight" to keep the country "united" by implementing divisive policies and the security agents kill citizens to uphold "the constitution" that contains this "promulgated united country" and the cycle has been from generation to generation and such country is said to be untied and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where governance is not all about the people but the president, religion and tribes, some citizens even claim to be more countrymen and women than others, yes! every region MUST vote for and support the president or get shortchanged and vilified; citizens, elected politicians and political appointees, legislature, judiciary and security agents MUST be loyal to the president or get tagged as enemies and risk removal or dismissal from the office but that country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where patriotism means die for, hail and support all government "policies" at all cost, and the citizens being innocently killed because of tribal and religious affiliation and properties destroyed all over the country from generation to generation but that country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where landmass and population are valued more than productivity and human resources respectively, merit crucified on alter of quota system, ethnic and religious affiliations, and citizens judged not by the contents of their characters and what they can offer but by their tribes and religious affiliations from generation to generation but that country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where agitations and killings, tribal and religious sentiments/crises only get worse close to elections because they are used as weapons by politicians to win elections and citizens seem unwilling to understand and change the narrative from generation to generation but such country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where the presidency is all about an Aide, tribe and religion and presidency being monopolized by individuals, region and religion and attack on president isn't attack on nationhood but attack on tribe and religion from one regime to another regime is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where agitations for self determination mean felony, pro-government protesters guided by security agents but anti-government protesters are tagged enemies and killed from one regime to another but the country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where injustice is celebrated because justice is about religion and tribe, insecurities and economic decay aren't national issues but party and political affiliations are, from generation to generation there's no template for development but there is always a template for ethnic and religious advancement but that country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where insecurity, ethnic and religious sentiments/crises are evoked, electoral umpire manipulated just to maneuver election winnings, some even claim to be born to rule and others born to be ruled from one republic to another and the country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where insecurities are created and sponsored by the citizens and politicians and the government is unwilling to identify and punish the perpetrators, the security agents kill at will, extort citizens in offices and on highways and are not even save themselves because all over the country they get killed by sponsored agents from one republic to another but the country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where the justice system is bastardized, the legislature bundled and reverend security positions/ranks, government promotions, appointments and jobs monopolized by tribes and religious affiliation but that country from generation to generation is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

A country where basic human rights are violated by government and government officials, jobs and sources of livelihood are lost due to government policies and ineptitude but and the citizens always supported and celebrated the government, citing tribes and religious affiliation from generation to generation but that country is said to be united and INDIVISIBLE.

AE-FUNAI CES LAUNCHES ADVERT FOR FRESH MEN AS IT CELEBRATES END OF 2019/2020 ACADMIC SESSION.
The Centre for Educational Services (CES), Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, on Friday 25th September, 2020, held a get together at the Centre’s Auditorium, to mark the end of 2019/2020 academic session for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) and Pre-Degree students. It was a great day as Tutors of CES, Deans and Directors from the mother institution (AE-FUNAI) gathered to appreciate God for his mercies and protection that despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, the centre was able to meet up with their academic calendar. This of course was achieved through the effort of our dear visionary Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba by his commitment towards the success of the Centre.

Prof. Dr. Ogunji presenting his address
Pastor Francis Ajah of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Abakaliki, led the opening prayer. While delivering his sermon, the Pastor took the bible reading from Proverbs Chapter 22: 29 ‘’Do you see a man diligent and skilful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men, maintaining that loving what you do is the best way to be productive. He posited that it may be difficult for anyone to give his/her best in a situation where the person does not love giving, adding that for you to be diligent in your duties, it is required of you to love what you do, putting in your best in a particular thing you have been asked to do, making sure that you excel and produce both quality and quantity, ‘’Do your best and God will give you the best’’ he said.

DVC, Prof. Philip Omoke making speech
The Director, Centre for Educational Services, Prof. Dr. Johnny Ogunji, in a welcome address, thanked our action Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba, and his management team, for their relentless effort in planting the seed of quality leadership and academic excellence at the centre in particular and the University at large. He affirmed that Prof Nwajiuba has consistently been responsive to the financial, material cum personnel needs and the continued development of the Centre.

Prof Ejike proposing a toast
Prof. Ogunji reiterated that the administration of Prof. Nwajiuba has been a favourable one to the Centre as one of the recent show-of- interest is the acquisition of a parcel of land for AE-FUNAI CES Permanent Site. He further adduced that this seed the VC has planted will continue to grow and fly at an eagle’s altitude, asserting that the Centre for Educational Services of AE-FUNAI is already one of the leading progressive JUPEB/Pre-Degree Centres in the South East, having gotten 80% recommendation by the JUPEB Panel after their visit in January, 2020. He assured that the standard will be sustained by the grace of God.

Mr Chris Uwadoka, Ag. Dir. Partnerships, observing the cutting of cake
The Director stressed further that during the academic year, the Centre registered a total of 390 students, comprising of 270 JUPEB Candidates and 120 Pre-Degree students, noting that COVID-19 Pandemic and the new normal imposed with the pandemic affected the academic calendar and cost of running the Centre ,however, the overhead cost has remained optimal.

Prof Rosemary Igbo launching the adverting campaign
Prof Ogunji, mentioned that during the lockdown, the Centre in a bid to cover their syllabus and adequately coach the students to pass requisite examinations, engaged in zoom lectures, The measures he added helped them in completing their scheme of work and getting the students ready for the 2020/2021 exit examinations.

The Comforters performing
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba, who was represented by DVC (Administration) Prof. Philip Omoke, thanked the management of CES for the quality of leadership and commitment they have shown, which have brought increase in students population and IGR. He commended the Centre for the award of 80% Gold certificate received, urging them to improve more to get to the Diamond award by next year. Prof. Nwajiuba further assured them that admission into AE-FUNAI will not be a problem to students that meet the required grade into the university.

Assistant Registrar/Secretary, Centre for Educational Services, Mr. Ama Omaha, took time to read out the content of the flier advertising the Centre’s admission processes and eligibility and appealed to the teachers and staff of AE-FUNAI to help in advertising the programmes of the centre.

Prof. Rosemary Igbo, Dean Faculty of Education, added her voice, commending the management of CES for providing an online avenue of accessing the form, requesting staff of the centre and university to help in circulating the good news. She prayed that God will take the adverts to where it should go and expect that responses will come positively. It was her prayer that AE-FUNAI will benefit more than it has always benefited from the centre. She thanked the Director and staff of CES for all the effort and went futher to flag off CES 2020/2021 admission drive, using the flier and online advert, to the glory of God.

Prof Chukwunonso Ejike, Dean, School of Post- graduate Studies,AE-FUNAI, proposed a toast to the success and progress of the Centre, while Mr Noble Onukwue, Deputy Registrar -Admissions, also of AE-FUNAI, gave vote of thanks. Other highlights were group performances by the Comforter Singers, and cutting of the ceremonial cake, to the excitement of the AE-FUNAI Principal Officers, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments and Units, staff, parents and other guests present at the event.

All over your social media handles/walls,

At your age, you are tagging, posting and advertising him as just your boyfriend, you are simply very irresponsible, and a disgrace to womanhood and everything put together to bring you up to the level you are and you will soon find out why.

At your age, you are tagging, posting and advertising him when he simply proposes to you, you are immature and you may likely find out sooner or later.

At your age, you are tagging, posting and advertising him when he finally engages you, you don't have self worth and you may also find out very soon, if care is not taking.

At your age, you are celebrating, posting and advertising him as you become his baby mama, you are a disgrace to womanhood.

But at any age, when you tag, post and advertise him as your legally married husband, you are a role model to womanhood and an inspiration to your generation.

Why this philandry and over hyping of men by women? Women need to grow up and stop seeing themselves as inferior Homo sapiens. It's a shame if you fall in this category as a woman.

Getting a man into your life as anything other than a husband shouldn't be seen as an achievement and for no reason be celebrated or be proud of. It's called self-respect.

Such accolades, praises, panegyric and eulogy about unmarried men are unnecessary because what will be will surely be. Stop giving men an undeserved position in your life if he hasn't legally married you yet. It's called self-esteem.

This new trend common among our young girls, ladies and woman is shameful and it's already eating dip into the fabrics of our society and as such needs an aggressive campaign against such trend.
