My boy is really doing well after the weaning. But He is just eating anything one gives him. My husband even feed him with his own food if I am not around and this worries me. Can babies eat "eba and soup" ?

Everyone here seems to be saying that when one is pregnant, she should definately stop breastfeeding the older child. All other women around me including my mum says so too. But my Husband's opinion appears quite different. He is insisting that I CAN STILL GO AHEAD breastfeeding my boy, if I want, as there is no cause for alarm medically speaking so long as I am feeding fine. I had to draw his attention to these posts and even what mummy says, But he equally came up with all these;

Please do not do anything "funny".  I went through same experience two years ago; I had a seven month old baby and I got pregnant.  Now I have two adorable kids.  It is not that bad but a lot of stress taking care of both.  Please see your Gyn, I think you should stop breasfeeding (pls confirm this).  I did stop.

When exactly did you stop the breastfeeding ? Was it immediately ?

Dear Nairalanders, This is my first time here though my husband is always on this forum 24 hours. I always admire the kind of advice people get here. Our marriage is about a year plus now and we have a very sweet and handsome baby boy. He was 6 months old last week. I missed my "show" last month and I just confirmed I am pregnant again. I am thinking of doing something "funny" but my husband is seriously against it. Is it not too early to have another baby as my boy is still breastfeeding? What should I do in this case please.
