RomanceRe: White Girls Dating Nigerian Men by mrtee(m): 2:54pm On Jun 13, 2006
@cucchi
You know wat! keep ur head high and go on with ur love life,cos i know u really love the black brother.Dont let any sentimental race stuff about color bother u.One thing i know about white girls are that once they are in with u they stick like glue,i am saying this from wat i am seeing btw my big brother who is married to a white lady from Uk and its been 5yrs now with two kids and the 3rd one coming and truely she loved my brother to a fault.
i wish i could find one like that,cos i have really gone thru hell with Nigerian girls.i have been thru 2 relationships both crashed,cos of greed, lust for money and material stuffs. Not that all Nigerian girls are greedy, some are good and the good ones are always hooked.
keep it up girl stick to ur man

BusinessE-gold Exchangers Price In Nigeria Too Expensive. by mrtee(op): 8:13pm On Jun 06, 2006
hi everyone,
i came to notice that so many online Nigerians are quicly going into e-gold xchange business, well thats a good development,but the only problem i envisaged, is the asking price , which i find quite exorbitant,i have taken time to check all the exchangers in Nigeria,i realise that all their prices are on the high side,and that alone tend to discourage many who want to buy digitals from them.i have stopped buying digitals from most of them, cos its too expensive shocked.
so guys wat do u think about this trend! angry

TV/MoviesRe: Genevieve Nnaji: A True Star by mrtee(m): 12:06pm On May 26, 2006
@ddizzle
noni u write ibo language real good cheesy,i am really proud of ibo sons and daughters out there who know how to speak and write their mother tongue, Genny is sure proud of u, just like a line in her lyric where she said in ibo"i metu m aka nga e me gi many many things" i like that part , it really made me laugh,
so noni! i bu ada e gi e je mba, nne gi sie ike, nke i gi ka! ada oma!!! wink
TV/MoviesRe: Genevieve Nnaji: A True Star by mrtee(m): 12:02pm On May 25, 2006
i just don't know where to start,i thought i was the only one who is Genny freak though i am a guy but don't get me wrong when i say Freak for Genevieve Nnaji .well i am proud of her though she doesn't know me, but inside me i know she is my good friend,i have heard so many nasty stories about her and i am never bothered by wat people say cos in this life there are bound to be ups and downs but i didn't care cos each time i read about her and her journey to stardom, i knew there are things she wont say on the media, i tend to feel all she must have been thru , from been a single mum at a certain age in life, the struggles and all that, i am saying wat i know not just because i am obsessed about her, i strongly believe in womanhood as the bedrock of any generation, my mum is my world! For instance i have a cousin who was saddled with a baby and at a tender age of 18 she was a mother already,then i was 20,i couldn't bear see her go thru all the embarrassment and harassment just becos she made a mistake, i stood strongly behind her supported her all thru till she gave birth ,and so on , wat i am trying to say here is that i admire her not just because she is an actress but a great woman who has faced obstacles and yet stood tall. just like Ddizzle argued with her friends, mum and all that ,it was the same case for me with my friends(guys), i was called Genny's house boy can u imagine that! sad , i really longed to see her in person even if its from a distance.In lagos, i learnt about a place called WINIS in surulere where actors and actress normal hang out, so i go there hang around to see if i can catch a glimpse of her one day but no way till date
One day, i was in a cafe in surulere, my friend called me and said "Tee where are u,i told him where i was , and the next thing he said made me dash out of the cafe in 20seconds. he said "Tee come down to WINIS i saw Genevieve Nnaji , i didn't listen further, i ran from the cafe to the place only to be fooled when i got there , there was no Genevieve Nnaji , i was angry with my friend but he swore she just left.
I really admire her , the way she talked, walked and act infact she is a class to behold .
Hey Sis, keep it up, there is a brother here who prays for u to keep shinning like the star you are! jisike ada oma!

PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala For President In 2007? by mrtee(m): 5:01pm On May 18, 2006
in my own opinion, lets give her a chance, if dem go gree ooo!( chop i chop group), i know one thing right from when i was growing up, a woman is a great person who can tell how things are done and get them done its their nature. if she comes out to contest, i will vote for her, look at wat she said during the interview "
"And you had had death threats" her answer=.

"Yes, direct threats to me and one to my husband at our home. He got very upset. So the President doubled my security. But I was never afraid"
To me thats a woman of courage, she certainly knows where she is coming and where she is going,i dream of seeing a formidable team of intellectuals like of Pat Utomi, Nasril Rufai, Donald Duke take over the mantle of leadership from baba! i believe Nigeria will be a force to reckon with in few years from now.i will vote any of them in! i swear.!!!!!!!!11
BusinessRe: Problem of PHCN/NEPA: Price Of Electricity Is Too Low by mrtee(m): 2:16pm On May 17, 2006
@seun
do u think raising the price of power would solve the epileptic state of power or the accurate billing system? well as far as i am concern as long as our corrupt leaders in government are only paying lips service to the issue of power generation, we are bound to be at the mercy of generators and its expenses.

RomanceRe: My Girl Fell Out Of Love , 4yrs Now Want To Come Back by mrtee(op): 4:30pm On Apr 30, 2006
@hot-angel
the truth is this i love her so much,she like a sister to me,this is someone i have known when she was 12,i can remember vividly when i just got admitted into the university ,i came home, she told me that she is indeed happy,that i should pray for her to secure an admission too ,that she cant keep sitting at home,and i told her not to worry that she will join me soon that the her Jamb score will exceed the cut off point ,and true to my prediction a year later she joined me.
Yes i love her so much but to leave me again i don't think i can stand that i don't want to wake up again on a hospital bed after passing out in a crowded fast food joint.
Giving her another chance is just like keeping her at arms Length and watch proceedings.

@creams
just like my closet friend told me ,he said i should give her another chance cos if she doesn't want me back why did she come to him telling him stuffs,it means she really wants me for real,besides she is no longer dating the other guy.from his point of view she is regretting her actions,her her words to my friend"he has changed, grown so big and handsome",cos she saw my recent pic at my friends house.well i am still thinking wat to do. thanks CREAMS ireally appreciate

@kimba
well thats wat i thought initially,but now she wants to come back , do u think she now loves me even though she has not said anything to me ,i only got the info from my close friend .
RomanceRe: My Girl Fell Out Of Love , 4yrs Now Want To Come Back by mrtee(op): 3:16pm On Apr 29, 2006
@Desiree
i asked her why she wants us to part ways, her response was that she doesn't love me anymore that was after 2yrs while i was in my final year in the university.the truth is that i still love her so much that i scared that a similar scenario might occur.
@kimba
wat more do want me to say,i asked her wat did i do to deserve this she said i did nothing, that she doesn't just love me anymore.
RomanceMy Girl Fell Out Of Love , 4yrs Now Want To Come Back by mrtee(op): 7:02pm On Apr 28, 2006
Some times i wonder if the word LOVE does exist or if its a mirage,back in school 4yrs back, when i was 24 my one n only(22) who i knew most of my life, while growing up fell out of love & left me, i was deeply hurt, i was emotionally disturbed that i had to struggle to write my degree exams.i graduated,served and moved on, it was a horrible experience for me,i went thru hell and back.
As soon i finished my youth service i relocated to another state where i got a job and settled down to a new life.i got involved with another girl for about 2yrs plus,only to quit the relationship at the verge of settling down with her as a result of Genotype(AS/AS)
Now my one and only (26) wants to come back after leaving me for 4yrs.i got a call from my closet friend who stays in the same estate with my ex-girl ,telling me stuffs of wat my ex told him yesterday, i was shocked at the development,he was serious telling me our she explained n explained,bla bla bla.To cut the story short my friend said i should give her another chance!that she is indeed sorry for wat she did back then,i was sad!i flashed back at all i went thru because of this babe,all i did, the treatment i received from her,etc,
guys talk to me should i give her another chance!!! undecided undecided
CareerRe: Unemployment in Nigeria by mrtee(m): 12:29pm On Apr 28, 2006
@skima
,i agree with u,the best job u can get is the one u created urself, if u are a job seeker, i have a piece of advice for u, look for a quite place sit down and think,think about ur abilities, there is something God deposited in u to excel, u are unique and whole , there is no two of ur kind on earth ,its just u with those special abilities,let me ask , is there anyone who has the same finger print with another ,definitely NNNOOOO!
Same apply to ur ability,search there is something about u,
,i am an internet marketing entrepreneur, ,i took time to learn about affiliate marketing.i started doing wat is required and now i earn a form of residual income from the internet legitimately.Then i had this intent desire to reach out to my world affecting peoples live positively there by giving their life a meaning.So after acquiring this skills about the internet .I set out to talk to young people in schools, camps about internet applications and uses, Why, this is to change the mentality Nigerians have about the internet as means of earning a living, each time u talk about making money online wat readily comes to mind is 419, this is to tell u how deep it has eaten in the society.
let me tell u wat happened yesterday, i went a campus, i entered a class asked for the class captain, spoke with about my mission, he obliged me to speak,i spoke on the values, importance and uses of the internet, to my surprise many didn't know wat i was saying all they chorused was yahoo!!!!!!!!!i was shocked but i was not deterred in passing the information which few of them appreciated.
Job seeking is not the answer rather creating a job is the best.
CareerRe: Unemployment in Nigeria by mrtee(m): 11:52am On Apr 28, 2006
@ijebuman! u really hit the nail by the head here, The biggest obstacle to a scheme like this is the rampant fraud in the country. It'll be great to hear suggestions as to ways in which a scheme like this can be operated in Nigeria
fraudlent practices is fast gaining ground among our youths today , the unemployed took to fraudlent practices like advance fee fraud aka yahoo, schemes like this can be a better way to alleviate the ugly situation in our dearest country today.

i am of the opinion pack that believe in the wonderful saying of John F Kennedy who said "think not Wat Ur country can do for u rather think of Wat u can do for Ur country"
Thanks to Seun who from his own industrious mind created this forum to serve as a basis of disseminating information that is vital to our development, this is a self empowered project , such is wat we are saying.
it is time for the youths of Nigeria to speak out their voice and stair this great nation in the right part to go,the ability lies in our hands to do this,
For instance, i for one, i started from somewhere ,i looked at wat i had ,natural skill and took off, n today i thank God For His mercies.While in School @ the university,i paid my way from the beginning to the end(4YRS), how did i do this,
-i engaged myself in talk shows as a MC /comedian and get paid.
-engaged in DJ work for departmental picnics and get paid.
-Sell electronics n Clothes to fellow students
this and host of other things i did to scale thru the university without letting my books suffer
Now i am out, into the so called "LABOUR MARKET" keeping my head above the waters,
In essence wat i am saying here is that we are the architect of our life the way u lay ur bed so will u lie on it.
Suggestion
i wish suggest to this humble,aspiring and dynamic nairalanders, to host a kind of youth conference where we nairalnaders meet physically to iron things out,inviting the media to cover such event.i believe this will sound a bell to the populace on our role as youths of this country.
