Thank You for your response. I have been tracking. In the place where you enter the passport number and it says it's still with the embassy, in the mail request option, it says it is still with post. I don't know what the post means. What did you see when you tracked yours please?

My visa was approved in Abuja last week Tuesday and I havent been notified that my passport is ready for collection. The white paper says it is typically in 3 business days which means it should have been ready at most Friday. Many people said they collected in 2 days. Has anyone experienced this please?

Isn't it apparent that people's freedom to express themselves on these platforms you have mentioned can also be hindered? If Twitter could be banned, why not those other ones. Freedom of speech is allowed but it must not promote hatred and enmity which is why the tweet was deleted.
I pray that the kidnapping, terrorism and other evils happening in this country doesn't come near you for you to realize that we have a failing system that should be addressed and you receive wisdom and understanding, and at least common sense to properly analyze situations.

If you have selected July 8 and it has been confirmed to you, then you would have to request an emergency appointment on your profile. You should back your request with supporting documents such as i-20, SEVIS fee, admission letter etc and please reschedule your appointment immediately you get the approval. It comes between 1 to 2 business days

You cannot change interview location after you have scheduled and confirmed. You can only change location if you haven't confirmed your schedule.

You can state in your Ds-160 you want to interview in Abuja and then change to interview in Lagos while scheduling appointment.
You can schedule anywhere. Pick whatever date you see there, and when your program start date is within 60 days, request for an expedited appointment and it will be granted.

please how does one change location? Under which section of ones profile and can I switch back? Thank you. I had requested an emergency appointment but when I saw the mail.and logged in there was no near dates it was still.the October that I initially chose so I have limited options now

You need information on your Form I-20 to fill your visa (DS-160) form. I think getting your I-20 is your first step to travel plans. While your SEVIS fee is not immediately required, it must be present with you during the interview. It is usually advised to have paid for it at least 3 days before your interview. You may also have delay in the payment because credit cards are not accepted for Nigerians, so I advice you figure that out early enough.

I would suggest you stay in Abuja Center. Getting date in Lagos is like wanting $1 at the rate of N400.
From what I know about you missing the available date reserved for you, I think it took you a while before logging in to pick the date that was open for you. The dates are not only visible to you, it’s visible to other people who had not requested for expedited date.

I had initially requested an emergency appointment and I got an email notification that I was granted but when I went to my profile to reschedule an appointment, it still showed October to December in the calendar .
