Family › Re: Fact: Christianity Is Not A Religion by mstik(f): 11:43am On Sep 08, 2014 |
I know all these sir Yeah, there are wars stemming from other factors such as the one you mentioned My point is that religion also contributes to the violence in the world: When this is not supposed to be so Which is why I reached my conclusion adolfebad: And you compare this to the countless toll of casualities born out of political wars in the world?
The russian civil war took over 6 million people, The world war I and II combined destroyed over 70 million people. And we still have the americam civil war, the war in congo, the war in china, etc all over the world
All these are political wars and they were far deadly.
I guess you have forgotten the civil war in Nigeria? Yes, over 1 million people died. Was it religious as well?
So whatever you are saying about religion really does hold no water. religious wars are just by the side, they hold no candle to all these above.
If you take religion out of the equahtion, man will still threaten to bomb out each other and extinguish the earth in a deadly nuclear war. That is your nature. You are selfish, and you always want to be superior to the other fellow no matter what. Man is destructive and could be hostile. And this is what pure religion ( Christainity) seeks to ammend. So please mellow down madam and change your mind. |

remember the crusaders killing in the name of christ? are you not aware of the the violence perpetrated by Islamic terrorist groups? religion has done nothing good to the world Christianity is NOT a religion adolfebad: What thrash is this madam?
If you take religion out of the equation would it have stopped world war II the most gruelsome war of mankind from happening? |

Question 1. Define Economics.
Solution- Economics can be define as a science that studies human behavior, this means it studies human behavior, therefore it studies human behavior,in as much economics studies human behavior. Economics studies how human behaves. Human behavior is what economics studies. Not animal behaviour, but behaviour of humans, also known as homo sapiens

Lol. That's not what the book is about. MadCow1: I cant believe you used the word #FACT in your statement..
OKAY.. Here is a fact for you; Its a Known FACT that Ghanaians are WORGLY (Meaning:: Worworly Ugly).
#ButItsNotTheirFault..
Even internationally renowed Ghanaian author Ayi Kwei Armah had to write a book to lament about the ugliness of Ghanaian women in this World Bestseller;

The guy wrote this book after searching for many years for a beautiful Ghanaian woman to marry.. He is still single and waiting for the beautiful ones to be born.. |

ummm... It's a known fact that Ghanaians are beautiful people.. Why the beef? MadCow1: I guess the standards for defining beauty in Africa has reduced to an all-time low..
Beauty and Ghana should never be used in the same book wether to describe males or females.

Christianity Etc › Re: If Jews Reject Jesus, Why Should An African Accept Jesus? by mstik(f): 9:00am On Sep 08, 2014 |
Errm, First of all, let me point out that Christianity is not a thing of race or ethnicity Jesus came to die for the whole of mankind, and anyone who accepts him, irrespective of race, will be saved However, salvation primarily was for the Jews. Unfortunately for them, He was not accepted. They never expected the messiah to be of a lowly birth, to be an ordinary carpenter. They were expecting the messiah to arrive with pomp and pageantry, and destroy their oppressors, the Romans.
Now back to your question. Why should Africans accept Him? Nobody is compelled to be a Christian, It's a person decision that is made. Whether its an Asian, African, or American, Christianity is not just another 'concept' or 'doctrine' that people are being forced to swallow. I believe that when someone discovers the truth, they happily accept and hold on to it. Christianity is not another western concept that you're making it to seem |
