Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do They Really Sell Employment Slots In Nigeria by Mtschewwww: 11:13am On Oct 02, 2021 |
Yes, they do sell jobs in the country. About 90% of jobs offered are bought by job seekers. Your honourables (both state and federal constituency) as well as your senators sell available jobs to people after giving out 10% to their family and few close friends. Even those working with the president in the aso-villa also sell jobs also. Ministers, Commissioners, permanent secretaries, DGs, directors, CEOs, executive secretaries, in fact all placed at the helm of affairs, etc all sell jobs through their Personal Assistant. The job prices ranges from 1M - 5M depending on the MDAs and the (state) location you will be posted to. 2 Likes |

nikola:I googled it but it didn't give me the answer. It was still referring him (Hon Chike Okafor) as the chairman of Health services which he was in the 8th Assembly (2015-2019). That's the reason I am asking for those who knows his current portfolio to know where he is heading and other committees he belongs to. This information is urgently needed please. |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Relevant Is Online Certificate To One's CV?? by Mtschewwww: 11:08am On Aug 06, 2021 |
Online certificate only adds up to your CV but is irrelevant in the job you might be applying for. I know a friend who did her BSc in University of Ibadan and had an online certificate in PGd from London. She applied for a job in an international organisation in Abuja. She was taken in as a volunteer staff in the workplace. It was later on she knew that the online certificate on her CV was just for add ups. They told her emphatically that if she had gone to the UK for the program, she would have been staffed. They don't value on-line certificates despite she did the online course for 8 months and she spent over a million naira doing the same online program. 3 Likes |

Education / Re: Ever Had Anyone Pull A Gun At You? What Were Your First Two Thoughts? by Mtschewwww: 9:42pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
Another incident that happened a few years back. Armed robbers numbering about seven visited my lodge at about 9:45pm. I was sleeping recklessly on my bed when they stole into my room and woke me up with a deafening slap. Drops of saliva left my mouth immediately as I saw two tall men, unmasked facing me with guns. They beat me up with my pressing iron, tied my hands and feet, and asked for my school fees which I gave them after searching for it because I was really confused. I was then sent to knock on my neighbour's door and tell them to open the door which i did and the operation continued. On sighting the robbers, The man of the house dashed away naked, following another route, leaving the heavily pregnant wife for the robbers to handle. In anger, the criminal used the butt of the gun to damage one of her eyes, told her that her runaway husband was not masculine enough to defend her. When I saw the gun pointed @ me, i muttered that if God can just spare my life, I would serve him because life is very sweet. The robbers had a field day. It was later observed that the incident was arranged by the landlord who lived in the next building (he oversees my compound) and one of the corpers who was a tenant In our building. The leader of the armed robbers was a neighbour who lived a stone throw from us. I saw him myself. |

Yes. Different occasions. I was 19 years old when policemen came to raid hoodlums in my area. They were supposed to begin the raid by 11:30pm but they entered my street by 8pm. I was on my way home by past 8pm, when five men on mufty started towards me. I ran for my life. I thought they were kidnappers, after touring around the big field situated in front of my home and scaling through different fences of uncompleted buildings, they caught up with me. They used baton and started beating me up like a criminal, I asked them my offence but they refuse to tell me. (In the struggle of my life I bit one of them on the hand when he squeezed my throat). When people heard my scream they came towards the direction of the noise and the men quickly held my weak hands and my neck, then told one of their gang to shoot a straight bullet at me. I was helpless. The shooter was in even in a drunken state..what came up to my mind was "Oh lord Jesus. Forgive me my sins. Write my name in the book of life if I die now". Though my mind was not at rest. Deep inside me, I knew my prayers may not be answered because I was not relaxed in the prayer. The men holding my hands kept saying " Oh boy, stay well...make the bullet enter you sharp sharp..".I writhed in pains and tears as I saw death facing me...then finally the bullet rang out! A straight bullet! They were policemen! People ran away for their life while I fell to the ground. I was innocent. 3 Likes |

For the thug to always insult your mum, he knows you are not capable of doing anything. Thank God you weren't killed when you fought him. Though I don't know how your age. My advise is you don't need to fight him again because you might be killed in the process. They don't value their lives. Thugs are criminals. Don't report him to any police, army or other thugs to fight back because the issue might escalate and it might not be on your favour at the end of the drama; besides these guys have political godfathers they work for. Hustle and make money and more money. Then when you have made these cash, just stay calm. Give yourself time. Don't rush. You don't need to ask anyone on how to retaliate for the damage done to you already. Your money will speak for you. You can even crush him completely both (body and soul) since he is seen as your enemy.....Read The 48 laws of power. 2 Likes |

Career / Re: Which Course Is More Lucrative To Study In Nigeria? by Mtschewwww: 4:05pm On Jan 20, 2021 |
Genea: Who told you there is no future in it. There is no job without a future. I have friends who studied the course and they are doing excellently well. Microbiology is not as lucrative like Pharmacy but funnily they have vast opportunities to work in more firms or industries even without connection or godfatherism than pharmacy. A microbiologist can work in a hospital, laboratory, research institute, pharmaceutical companies, agencies like Ncdc, Naca, Ndlea, Ministry of health or any health sector..etc, for those that are specialised under the medical aspect of Microbiology. We have the food microbiologist that can work in companies such as Nigeria breweries, Guiness, agricultural firms, nafdac, standard organisation of Nigeria, etc, even in borders and seaports (customs, Port Heath authority), anywhere where food, drink, toiletries or drugs is being produced or processed, etc. There is also the environmental microbiologist that works in oil, gas and petroleum companies. These ones controls detect and monitors oil spillage in the environment. Many work with govt agencies such as Nesrea, nosdra, etc. Microbiologists are in most companies in and outside the shore of the country because of the diversity of their course. So pls do not say there is no future in it. Every course has a future. 1 Like |

DollarBuddy:1- If the senator has a good relationship with whoever heads the agency or any of the board members of the agency, it would be honored. 2 - They don't need to ask for credentials before sending it to the agency as long as there is a letter of recommendation attached to it. You must ensure that you get back an acknowledged copy of the letter from the agency and give the copy to whoever recommended you. You need tell him or her to call whoever heads that workplace on your behalf..(follow up). If your connect has no access to the agency, you need get the contact of the head of the agency for your job-pursuit journey to be smooth. Finally, pray that God favors you. There are cases where you get contacts of a DG and give to a senator (your connect), he uses the contact to build relationship, get slots to assist close family members thereby ignoring you. Am telling you from experience. 6 Likes |
