Who told you there is no future in it. There is no job without a future. I have friends who studied the course and they are doing excellently well.
Microbiology is not as lucrative like Pharmacy but funnily they have vast opportunities to work in more firms or industries even without connection or godfatherism than pharmacy.

A microbiologist can work in a hospital, laboratory, research institute, pharmaceutical companies, agencies like Ncdc, Naca, Ndlea, Ministry of health or any health sector..etc, for those that are specialised under the medical aspect of Microbiology.

We have the food microbiologist that can work in companies such as Nigeria breweries, Guiness, agricultural firms, nafdac, standard organisation of Nigeria, etc, even in borders and seaports (customs, Port Heath authority), anywhere where food, drink, toiletries or drugs is being produced or processed, etc.

There is also the environmental microbiologist that works in oil, gas and petroleum companies. These ones controls detect and monitors oil spillage in the environment. Many work with govt agencies such as Nesrea, nosdra, etc.
Microbiologists are in most companies in and outside the shore of the country because of the diversity of their course. So pls do not say there is no future in it. Every course has a future.

I started a new job on August this year,the agency is A- list but at first I was not happy with the job but later on I fell in love with it,started making new friends,almost everybody in my department love me.
We all become families, we all do go out and check on each other, our department are well respected for our hard works and team work in fact we are the best organized department. I feel at home in job but two days ago I got a call from another A-List agency that I applied earlier June that my letter is out and I have two weeks to accept it.

The new agency pay more than the one I am doing but my own job now is more about what I study in school unlike the new one that is not much related,I spoke with my director he advice me to stay but I am really confused. Please i have two questions viz:

1--- Can a letter of recommendation from a senator to an agency whose committee he doesn't belong to, be honored?

2--- Do we submit a letter of recommendation alongside photocopies of our credentials to an organization doing replacement or its they'll need to ask for the credentials before we submit?

1- If the senator has a good relationship with whoever heads the agency or any of the board members of the agency, it would be honored.
2 - They don't need to ask for credentials before sending it to the agency as long as there is a letter of recommendation attached to it.
You must ensure that you get back an acknowledged copy of the letter from the agency and give the copy to whoever recommended you. You need tell him or her to call whoever heads that workplace on your behalf..(follow up). If your connect has no access to the agency, you need get the contact of the head of the agency for your job-pursuit journey to be smooth. Finally, pray that God favors you.
There are cases where you get contacts of a DG and give to a senator (your connect), he uses the contact to build relationship, get slots to assist close family members thereby ignoring you. Am telling you from experience.

Since you said it is a fact, i will appreciate if you can get any letter of appointment of NDLEA graduate (Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II) stating the annual salary and post it in this forum to be seen. Sure, I can NEVER ARGUE with you in a faceless forum.

Bro, I don't know the year or month that the NDLEA began earning more than other paramilitaries in Nigeria. Their officers complained that their salary is the least among other security agencies with very poor welfare. So I wonder where some people got their information. NDLEA salary is poor and they are working towards reviewing it. A graduate earns #84,945.83 monthly in that agency. Afterall Nigerian Customs fresh graduates earn 86k monthly as at 2019 before it was reviewed and increased Aug/Sept last year.

Bro, NDLEA salary is pretty poor. It is below 90k. # 1,019,350 is the annual take home for a level 8 NDLEA OFFICER.
The money includes all allowances which have been monetized due to monetization policy. They are working on reviewing their salary.

The replacement they did was for graduates and school certificate holders.
The one they intend to do is strictly for graduates.
Salary is 106k for fresh graduates.

They are not recruiting. The advert placement on massive recruitment you saw on the social media is a SCAM.
They did some replacements by february this year where 28 people were offered letters of employment nationwide.
Another set of replacement will commence soon because some directors are on the verge of retirement before the ending of the year.

Show me the evidence of those collected appointment letter last week... Some guys even said last week that letter will be issue this week. No compilation in FCSC and No appointment letter yet.

I have asked same question before but there has been no positive response. Those saying there have gotten their letters of appointments after the lockdown should kindly post it on this forum. My question is what if the devil decides to repent of his evil ways and reconciles with God, what happens to those who died in sin and what happens to hell prepared for him and the fallen angels?

Your letter would only be recognized if the house of representative member is a committee member of the FIRS. The reason is that each committee member of any MDA is given specific number of slot.
